I always walk away from Z Salon feeling great after a hair cut and style! I have really long, thick hair and in order to get my cut and style done my stylist always has to grab another person to help her dry and flat iron my hair, but it just goes to show you everyone there goes the extra mile to help out and make everyone's experience a good one. There's no way she could do my hair alone in 45 minutes! more

I left the salon feeling pampered and 10 years younger. Jenny has been styling my hair for several years and does an excellent job. Not only does she give a great haircut, but she teaches styling techniques to help me get the same look at home. more

I was schedule for a brow wax at 4:30 and due to traffic I was going to be late, so I called ahead and let them know of the issue. By doing that they made me reschedule with another person for 15 minutes later. Once I got there I waited 10 minutes to check in and then because of the face medicine I was on there would not let me get a brow wax, although no one had told me that in advance. They ended up not charging me for the tweezing, but I was still very unhappy that I did not receive the brow wax and not by the person I had scheduled it with. Had I known that I could not use my face medicine within 5 days prior I would have done that, but I was not aware of that. more

I have been coming to Z for about 2 years. I get eyebrow wax and tint. I saw Jennifer and was completely satisfied. Since she left I tried Rose and settled with Stephanie. Once recently my appt was canceled because Stephanie was ill. This past week Stephanie did not show. I sat for 15 minutes before I was taken care of. Wish Jennifer was at Z. more

Elizabeth is a fantastic colorist and person. I was very pleased with the outcome. However, I was quoted $60 but charged $80 because she said she had to mix more color. The past five times I've had my color done they have had to mix more but I was not charged extra. I was not happy about that at all! more

Rachel did a fantastic short hair cut for me. It is very flattering and I've had numerous compliments. I love the Aveda experience. more

Elizabeth has done an amazing job on coloring my hair. When I first came to her it was a horrible mess with green and pinkish tones in what should have been blonde highlighted hair. She took a lot of time and care in bringing my hair back to a color that I love. more

I get my haircut with Whitney. She is awesome! She does such an amazing job I can go longer between haircuts. I have thick, unruly, wavy hair and she always knows what to do with it, even when I'm really indecisive. I always trust my hair is in good hands. more

I had my first appointment at Z Salon and was very pleased with both the hair color (blonde highlights) and the cut (extremely happy with the cut!). However, there is one thing that really leaves me puzzled. I had my color and was turned over to someone else to cut and style my hair. I asked the colorist if she would then come back to check on my hair color and make sure we BOTH liked what she had done. She replied "of course!". I did not see her again. I looked for her but she was not back in the area where I rec'd color. I thought that was odd, and considering the price, not what one would expect. Interestingly, as I was checking out, I was next to a woman who told me this too, was her first time a Z Salon. She said she loved her color and cut but was surprised that the person who colored her hair never came back to look it over. After hearing that, I think my experience was more than an oversight. I don't like that they don't check on your hair color. The person who cut my hair was wonderful, very professional, and had good insights. I had a fantastic haircut and style. I am very happy with the end result, and will go back, but next time I will be more pointed about what I expect after the color. more
