Having been living in the Boston area for almost 3 years, I did not know Woburn Foreign Auto Body (WFAB) until my Rav4 needed a corrective repair recently. The damage happened to the driver side rockboard and the metal piece at the pinch point when the vehicle had an engine oil change in mid July. The quality of the initial repairs was poor and there were multple body scratches after the repair. The vehicle was then taken to WFAB.
Since I was concerned about the methods and equipment that WFAB will use to correct the previous repair, Bob Winters, the shop manager, spent a good amount of time inspecting the damages and explaining how the repairs would be performed. I was also given a tour to the shop to see the equipment and the repair work in progress. Being an engineer myself, I like the way that Bob presented their capabilities. There were no lip promises at WFAB but knowledgeable staffs with solid facts that would convince customers.
When repairs were undergoing, photos were published online everyday and I was able to see the daily progress. This is a unique feature that not every prestigious auto body shop would offer. The repairs were completed a week after. The quality of the work is excellent. The paint of the repaired area matches the other side which is factory installed very closely. The metal piece at the pinch point was straightened to the conditions prior to the damage. The body scratch on the rear bumper was also fully repaired leaving no trace of damage. One will not able to tell there was a scratch at all.
Overall, my first experience at WFAB was very pleasant. Folks at WFAB are friendly, helpful and considerate. I was offered free rides to be sent back to home and be picked up to their shop when my Rav4 was ready. I will recommend WFAB to my friends and colleagues if they need auto body repair service and want their vehicles be in good hands. And, of course, if I ever need body repair in future, I will not hesitate to take my vehicle to WFAB.
Many thanks to Bob Winters, Michael, Mark Hinds, Jim Cooper and other people who helped my Rav4's repair.
