Dont listen to everything you find 12/3/2011

It is my thought that everything that I have heard is false I have lived in this park for over 3 years and have never had a problume with any one incuding mang. they have done there jobs time and time again they could use more help tho so insted of complaneing about thing you should try to help out in any way you can and as for the vehicles there is a policy in order so the park dont look like a car lot so my word is this is the best place ever and I plane on buy another place soon as for the rest of ya if you dont like it well then you are lazy try doing something for your park insted of saying its all there doing when we as park owners can and will pick up the slack to make it better for all and as for the up times the lot space has went up its due to the city if they could stop puting up taxes then they would not have to do that so if you are looking for a new place to get this is the best in all of airwayhights good luck finding others that will help you as much as these guys do. more

untrustworthy management 11/1/2011

I just returned from 1 year service overseas and am currently working 2 jobs. 7 days a week. I recently received a notice from the park manager, that I had to many vehicles as per my lease agreement and had to get rid of 1 of my vehicles, I was given a 15 day notice. I spoke to the manager 2 days later and told him that I was placing my Ford Pick-up for sale as soon as I used it to remove some scrap material from rental property my brother owns.He stated that it would not be a problem. The scrap material was taken to recycling on Tuesday of last week. The truck was placed up for sale but I also needed time to install my camper to sell with the truck, that was to have been done on Saturday but I was called into work on that day. The manager had my truck impounded YESTERDAY, Monday the 31st.. Management went against his word in this matter and thinks it's funny. The vehicle was legally parked and in perfect running condition and had a FOR SALE sign clearly posted in the window. There are 3 licensed drivers living here and all the vehicles are licensed. I work Monday-Friday in Moses Lake from 1:30 until 10:30 for the Air Force and weekends in Coeurd'lene from 2 PM until 2;30 AM on the weekends and was doing what I could to get my truck sold.Management is irresponsible, untrustworthy and dishonest. There are several other examples of his his inability to perform his job that I will not go into at this time, but I suggest that you DO NOT consider renting lot space in this park, you will regret it, I plan on moving out this coming spring due to the problems caused by management here. more

AVOID this place! 10/27/2008

I have lived here a few years and it is my opinion that no one should live here without really checking it out and talking to the people who are stuck here. Homes are falling apart. I hear there is alot of illegal activity. The owner either doesnt know how to hire or doesnt like his choices when hiring as he has gone through many managers. He even brings back some old manager and she seems pretty clueless. There are no improvements but the rents continue to go up. There is no where for kids to play, no clubhouse, no pool, no laundry room and no sense of community. There are a lot of nice people in here. And a lot of not so nice people. Cars have been broken into and things stolen right off of peoples porches. All I can say, check it out really good before you move here. more

SERIOUS WATER PROBLEMS 6/27/2008

WOW ANOTHER RENT INCREASE,MAYBE THEY NEED THE MONEY TO FIX THEIR PUMPS FOR THEIR ONGOING WATER PROBLEMS. IT'S AMAZING HOW THE RENT KEEPS GOING UP BUT YET THE WATER PROBLEMS STILL EXISTS.. THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE GREEN LAWNS BUT THAT IS PRETTY HARD TO ACCOMPLISH WHEN THE WATER IS OFF. THE LOCATION OF THE PARK IS GREAT BUT THE WATER PROBLEMS TAKE AWAY FROM THAT Pros: NICE LOCATION Cons: WATER PROBLEMS more

WOREST PLACE TO MOVE INTO!!!!! 6/27/2008

I have lived here for 8 plus years this is the worst place I have ever lived! We have gone through about 6 mangers scenes I have lived here, they can't seem to keep a good mangers. The water is another problem, it goes on and off when it wants to and you can not drink it! They want you to keep your yards looking good, but they put you on water restrictions, most of the people can't water during those hours so there yards are dead! They allowed people to move in that can't pass a back ground check, so now every one has to lock up there homes and there things. If I had any idea how bad this place was i wouldn't have bought my trailer! There are many nice people living here, they to can't afford to move out, so they have to put up with the non-scenes that goes on here! Every Managers we have had in the last 8 years don't care about the elderly People in the park, they don't plow the roads and they don't help the tenants in the park! They ask us to improve are yards and then they say we can't, they say they are going to put fences up on each yard so are children and pets can be safe in are yards and then they don't! The owner doesn't allow the mangers to make and improvement with out his OK, he raises the rent and doesn't improve anything. Just like many of you that read this, are living from pay check to pay check, I wouldn't buy a home in this trailer park, you will never get your money out of it. more

Poor place to live 3/27/2007

We have lived here for 5.5 yrs... before the present managers moved in, it was a great place to live. Now there are terrible water problems, IE. lack of. The manager does not plow in the winter as he is supposed to nor does he plow the field in the summer. It was so overgown last yr I was afraid to let my kids play in it as I may never find them again. This is a nice park with nice people, the managers AND the owner ( who has raised the space rent 4x since I have been here, 2x in the last yr) are the problem. I hear hayford village is a nice mobile home park. I wouldn't recommend West prairie village until these managers are out It's really to bad, cause this is a nice place to live. more

Mobile ""HOME"" Park?? 8/30/2006

It is my opinion that this is a MHP that I would NEVER recommend to anyone. Although the area around is nice, and all the tenants within this park own their mobile homes, I/we quickly found out that looks are deceiving. Services that are supposed to be provided by the Park are not adequate, namely the water system that isn't in good working order (hasn't been for some time) including low water pressure, loss of water, false reports sent to tenants about the proposed ""fix"" to these problems, among other things. After looking online I/we have found reports (public record) on DOH on Non-Compliant water issues. Management avoids tenants calls about problems in the Park. They say they are going to do something and just don't deliver. And not just the water system problems. Management is also VERY slow to inform tenants of issues within the Park. There are MANY unhappy tenants in this park. I think it would be in anyone's best interest to look elsewhere, but that is only MY OPINION. more
