Wendy's Bridal Columbus

I would not receommend Wendy's Bridal in Dublin for any reason. I went in looking for a dress for the most important day of my life and the person who waited on me was very RUDE. Cons: thumbs down. more

I got married two years ago. I purchased my wedding dress from a small shop right before they went out of business and needed to find a place to buy my bridesmaid dress. I have been in Wendy's bridal shop dozens of times looking and everytime I was in there I heard disturbing things. The staff was always very rude except for an associate by the name of Willie. She was amazing and always very nice. The only reason I ever came back was to work with her. While there with my bridesmaids one of the staff members was very rude and almost arguing with two of my girls. Later that day I called back and wanted to talk with the manager to complain about my service. When the phone was handed to the manager I recognized the voice and the women that I was calling to compain about was on the other end of the phone. I went ahead and told her how unhappy I was with the service and I was told, ""Well, I did not see a problem."" All I can say is Better Buisness Bureau!!!!!!! I think they should be ashamed of how they treat their costomers. This is one of the most happiest times of a persons life and what right do they have to ruin the fun of dress shopping. Well my sister just got engaged and I refuse to let her go there. Please pass the word! I think more people need to call the corporate office and let them know the service at Wendy's. The women that work a the Dublin Ohio Wendys are the rudest women I have ever come into contact with through retail sales. I have always heard bad things about the women who work there, but decided to give it a try anyways. I made an appointment with Michelle, who was very professional and helpful. I was told that I could bring my bridesmaids in anytime to look at the dresses I had picked out. The last two times I have been in there, I was treated with such disrespect by who I can only assume is the manager. I along with many others in Columbus would not recommend Wendy's to anyone, and if asked would make sure that other brides are aware of the terrible service. I do have to go in there one more time to pick up something I left. I will be sure to get the name of the women who are so rude!! If the front door of the store says ""walk-ins welcome"" then they shouldn't treat you like your an idoit if you walk in without one! Wendy's Bridal in Dublin, Ohio is unprofessional. I went there with a good friend and her mother to look at bridal gowns for her wedding. The store was completely empty, however the women working behind the desk proceeded to talk about us ( the brides mother and I ) to the extent that we both could see them in the mirror and hear them gossiping about us. I was disgusted as the mother was dressed in banana republic and I in J. Crew, as the curly haired girl behind the desk continued to gossip about us, and bad mouth us and the bride. It made us so uncomfortable that the brides mother vowed to tell all her friends about the horrible experience she had there and not to do business with wendy's! Wendy's Bridal in dublin was EXTREMELY RUDE to me. I scheduled an appointment for a fitting and enjoyed my experience. However at the conclusion of my visit I asked if I could bring my mother in from out of town to see my desired gown, and they told me that we could stop in ""whenever"" to take a look. When my mother was in town we stopped in to see the gown- as they said we could- and they berratted me for not having an appointment (eventhough their window sign says walk-ins welcome) and refused to allow me to see the dress. I cried as they spoke to me in a very condescending manner which, being a professional, I did not appreciate. Finally, I returned after many months thinking they wouldn't remember the event and that I should give them another try...this time, a different woman lectured me about how ""you should know better than to come in here without an appointment"" and "" I can't imagine anyone would treat you like that""...turns out they had written a note on my card. It was ridiculous, I absolutely refuse to do business there...no one deserves to be treated like that! I am not a child, and have enough business sense to know that's poor service! I visited many dress shops looking for bridesmaids dresses, this one had a good selection of dresses but the service would not be worth the trouble. During a visit of about a half an hour to forty five minutes, I observed a well behaved child get yelled at by staff (and I can be one of the first ones to complain about poorly behaved kids), and when the mother requested to be spoke to politely the manager stated she could go ells ware if she didn't like how she was treated, I also over heard at the very least 4 other groups of shopper state they disliked being talked to harshly and leave the store, and the manager stating that there are so many shoppers in Columbus it doesn't matter how she behaves there will always be someone ells ready to buy. I over heard a consultant tell a bride say ""that dress is good for you because it makes it look like your gut is smaller then it really is. (Bad choice of words?) My mother overheard someone call to see if there were any appointments left and after saying no and hanging up the consultant stated ?who do these people think they are to try and make an appointment same day?. My daughter and I went in for a prom dress and the staff was wonderful. The selection was fantastic. My daughter is very hard to please when it comes to shopping but I have to say we found a fantastic dress in our price rannge and was in and out in less than 1 1/2 hours. We tried several other of the shops in town and the selection was nothing compared to Wendy's nor was the staff. Thank you Wendy's for what could have been a stressful day making it a day to remember for me and my daughter. Pros: Great selection, Price range for all, easy access more

The staff at Wendy's Bridal Gallerie was wonderful in helping me with some last-minute wedding disasters. Everybody was very honest, professional, and courteous when handling my situation (a dress from another bridal shop was ordered incorrectly, and they were able to help me find another to match the rest of the wedding party and have it arrive within 2 weeks). more
