This place has a huge selection of wedding gowns so if you just starting out perhaps head somewhere else first to get an idea of what you are looking for before heading to Debbie's otherwise you may end up feeling a little overwhelmed! Try to know what dress shapes you like so it can be easier.\r \r I ended up buying my dress from here. Like I said it's huge but there price range is great, starts from $1000-$7000. But come with a budget in mind. They also have discounted gowns and you can save up to $1000 depending on the dress. My consultant was very friendly, helpful, and patient. Her name is Lena. Mirrors everywhere and very generous dressing rooms. You really feel like you are on a TV show. more

What an amazing day BJ, Blair and I had with Lena. She helped Blair soooo much in finding her wedding dress style. We are looking forward to another appointment and saying ""yes"" to the dress of her dreams. more

This review is only regarding bridesmaid dresses & the manager of that department, Jenn Bradshaw. I was a littler nervous going into such a formal setting (I'm a hopeless tomboy covered in tattoos & piercings. I know nothing about weddings). Jenn instantly made me feel comfortable, heard my body concerns (Hello 34 dd's) and picked several dresses. The first one she picked I ended up going with and it took less than 30 minutes total. For any future weddings (I have 3 next year) or engagements I will be booking with Jenn. She's fabulous! more

At the time, Katie was the one assisting me. I told her the style I wanted and the price range I wanted to stay in, and with just 3 or 4 dresses to try on, I finally found it after going to 4 or 5 stores previously. They had a very large selection...a lot of them were on the high end but they had enough in the low and middle range to suit everyone's budget. I liked that the store was neat and organized and the big area in the middle with the mirrors. more

This is the ""Say yes to the dress"" experience in Houston. Appointments are required, no food, no drink, no kids. Like a bar, it's not a kid friendly (lot's of delicate dresses and things that can be knocked over), so find a sitter. more

When I was at the Bridal Extravaganza I was yelled at by another dress shop that I had not already ordered my dress ( we are on a less than 6 mth time line) but then I walked down and talked to Debbie the owner. She calmed my fears, listened to what I wanted and told me she was sure that they had something since they carry about 1000 dresses. I made an appt on a Friday when it is quiet ( don't go on Saturdays-it is a mad house there and any other place you go so be smart, go when it is quiet and you receive more attention). Jean was my consultant and she was wonderful. I pulled some dresses and she pulled some. I tried on about 15 dresses and I would have gone with several of them but she had one more for me to try on and as soon as I came out and saw it I knew it was ""the dress"". Every dress I tried on was in my budget and she even showed me acccessories that would go well with the particular dress I was trying on. I was not rushed and not pressured in anyway. I was given quotes for the alterations and she told me that she was quoting on the high side just in case. I can't say enough about this place and the way I was treated. I can't wait for it to come in now. more

I am extremely disappointed in the experience I just had at this store! I visited WBD with my fianc?e, future mother in law, and two nieces, ages nine and eleven. Although there was no one in the store, we were told that the girls could not accompany us to look at the dresses. We were told they would have to wait in the entryway while we shopped. Rather than explaining professionally, the receptionist was rude and condescending. While I understand that stores may have policies, I know that employees are able to make exceptions based on the circumstances (an empty store), and are always expected to treat customers with respect, neither of which happened today. more

I loved buying a dress at Weddings by Debbie. I had a personal consultant who went around the shop with me and helped me select dresses to try on. Her name is Paula and I would highly recommend you book a consultationwith her. They have satin couches where people can sit and watch you show off the dresses you're trying on. The prices are great too. If you buy a wedding dress at Weddings by Debbie, you get the ""Say Yes to the Dress"" experience for a fraction of the price. more

I am still in shock over the way we were treated yesterday. We went in March and picked out bridesmaid dresses for my daughter's December wedding. Since two of the bridesmaids were pregnant in March, we specifically asked how long we had to place the order. They told us Aug 1st, and that all of the bridesmaids could order separately. One bridesmaid went ahead an ordered in March and picked up her dress in June. Yesterday we went back to look for the wedding gown. My daughter found THE dress! They had told us that we had till the end of July to order the wedding gown with no rush charges. However, yesterday they told us we did have to pay an additional $150 to rush it. Then, the two bridesmaids that had been pregnant were there and we went to order their bridesmaid dresses. We were told that they don't order from that designer anymore, and they absolutely would not order the rest of our dresses! We told them they had our information since March, and nobody even called us to notify us of this? Plus, one bridesmaid already had her dress! They basically said ""too bad, so sad""! I couldn't believe it - their mistake, but oh well, we thought we'd just have the one bridesmaid that already purchased the dress bring it back and get her money back and then we'd start all over with picking out new dresses. Guess what? They said they would NOT refund her money as all sales are final. Then I got really upset. Their fault, and they are sticking one bridesmaid with a dress that she can't even use in the wedding? They were rude, unyielding, and in my opinion incompetent for ever letting this happen to begin with. We walked out of the store, went to another bridal shop, ordered the same bridesmaid dresses and the same wedding gown - both of which where LESS expensive. And guess what? This shop ordered the wedding gown from the same manufacturer, but we didn't have to pay rush charges to them! They said the gown would be in a month before the wedding. Weddings by Debbie just lied to us! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I would say beware if you do go there. more
