DO NOT USE! My daughter needed prescription refill for contacts. Had just been to Dr. in Jan for eye exam and glasses etc. Already has prescription for contacts. I was told she had to come in and pay FULL PRICE AGAIN for fitting on contacts and then the prescription would only be good for 6 months instead o fthe standard year. I asked to talk to the Dr. but Dr. Wise refuses to call me back. His office people called me and were ZERO help....I asked again for to talk to the Dr. and they said he would not! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!! more

Bad experience 2/13/2012

I have had my glassed since Aug '11, and they have never fit my eyes. this is the 2nd time I have this problem with Vision City ( I did give them a second chance). First I went in to pick up my glasses and the clerk just handed them to me and did not ask if I needed the fitted or thank you, just nothing. I ask to have my eyes re-examed by a different Dr and was told ""no"" that I had to use the same one (who I know messed up the first time around). Then a couple of weeks later same thing when I went to pick up my sons, same clerk just handed us the glasses no fitting or anything. I use to really like this place but I think the customer service has really gone down hill . more

Great experience 1/29/2012

Great customer service, the Dr. Was great. I was looking for a friendly place that would be personable like I was used to....found it. I would recommend to anyone. more

My Family's Eye Care Center 1/25/2012

Very pleased patient!! We needed to find an eye Dr. recently as my husband's eye was in a lot of pain after doing a home improvement project. We initially chose Vision City for its convenient hours and location, but after that visit to have my husband's eye looked at...we won't go anywhere else!! The Dr. was kind and patient and more importantly...found the tiny piece of metal that had somehow gotten into his eye! Since then we have gotten glasses and contacts for our family and are not only pleased with the prices but the attention the opticians gave us while picking out the frames and lens options for the glasses. Thank you Vision City...see you soon!! :-) more

This is Dr. Wise. I own Vision City and have just recently started reading reviews and feel a need to repond. I want to thank those of you who trust us with your eyes and those of your families. It's a priviledge to serve your needs and we very much appreciate your business. To those of you who have had a poor experience for whatever reason, I sincerely apologize. Do we make mistakes once in a while...unfortunately. Do we try to resolve them...every time. Are we always successful...no we aren't. My staff works very hard and are very conscious of what they are doing and are great. We see thousands and thousands of people every year and for every one person that has a bad experience there are hundreds that don't. Please, this is not to belittle anything in these reviews or disregard any feelings, it's just to reitterate that we are far from perfect. I will promise that if you come into our office, we will take care of you to the best of our abilities and if there is a problem, we will work hard to resolve it. We look forward to seeing you and if you have had a bad experience, I truly wish you would give us another chance. Who knows.... :) more

BAD idea. 12/3/2011

My mother in law recommended this place to me. Got my exam ect no problems, nice eye doctors, visit was fine. The problems started when I had to communicate/deal with the staff/techs. I paid for a months supply for contacts(in full) when I had my first exam and first, but I did not actually RECEIVE my contacts untill three months later. But getting them was a chore in itself. I was told to have a follow up with my eye doctor...I did. I double checked to make sure that my contacts were going to be ordered since i had my follow up like i needed to, and I was told YES, my contacts were for sure being ordered and they would be there in 1-2 weeks. So I wait and wait for three weeks (on top of the 3 months) for them to call and tell me my contacts are in..never get that call. So I call up there and inquire and I am informed my contacts were never ordered to being with AND I NEED TO COME IN FOR A FOLLOW UP (btw, I live in Benbrook, not Burleson), again. How was this information not shared with the entire staff in my files? Why was I lied to and told my contacts were being ordered?? I tell the woman all about how I already had my follow up and she tell me shes going to talk to the doctor and see what to do ""because normally they require a follow up before ordering the contacts""! Tells me the doctor is ""okay"" with that and shes ordering my contacts. *crosses fingers this time*. I go up there to pick up some trials and I ask the young blonde to double check to make sure my contacts have been ordered for SERIOUS this time and she rudely and irritatedly tells me yes yes yes they have been ordered. Normally I never ever badger people over things like that, but given the chain of events of being lied to, I felt it absolutely necessary. The only perk of this experience if that when they actually did order my contacts, they arrived two days later. When i went to pick them up, the tech at first told me i owed 90$ for them (when i already paid the 250$ in full for them three months prior!!!) I spoke to a co worker who also used to go to this location (key word, USED TO GO) and she had similar mishaps with her glasses (she was told they were ordered, but they weren't). This place is pathetic. They treat customers like dirt for their own stupid mistakes. No communication between staff and eye doctors, and the staff has no qualms about lying to you and being inexcusably rude. I will never ever ever go to this place, and I am telling everyone to AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE! more

Worst Place Ever 8/27/2011

Has to be the worst place ever. Have been waiting for my glasses for two weeks, first excuse script was wrong and had to be sent back, eight days later and still no glasses. Prices are inflated and service is the worse. more

Totally BAD! 7/14/2011

Went for a simple eye exam. I refused the glaucoma testing and he was going to let me sign a waiver until he saw my family history and then refused to do my eye exam. What is most disappointing is the fact that I was talked to by 3 different staff in the office and never once questioned by the doctor himself. Not to mention I had to wait 40 min after my premade appt time and then waited another 40 min in the exam room to not be seen. We will NEVER go there again. Totally unprofessional. more

poor prices, products, and service-DON""T GO HERE!!! 10/4/2008

got glasses there 6 months ago, even with the coupon,they jacked the price up here and there, but went ahead and ordered them because we needed them fast. Instead of 1 day, it took 10 days. And the Rx was wrong, had to be redone, took another week!! Now, frames fall apart, and even though it's warrantied, I have to pay 1/2 price for another pair of frames!!!! They are a rip off, and have poor service too. Cons: price, service, quality of product. more
