Rich was right on time, serviced both our AC and furnace and discovered a potential problem with the main blower (covered with dust). He fixed it right away on the same visit, saving having to make another appointment. Would not give receipt when job was done, wanted to email it. Im elderly and dont have email, had to use a younger relative's email to get a receipt. The repair man wanted payment before the work was done. I have used them for many of my houses and rentals as well as my business, I didnt like the way I was treated, as tho I was someone who was not going to pay my bill. A little frustrating. more

Service to Colorado City/Rye Area Service Date: 9.2.17 The following is the actual comment by technician:, in the "Work Done" section: "Performed checks at unit found 24v coil in contactor causing 3amp fuse to pop. Replaced contactor unitbis fully operational." Diagnostic Fee: $129.00 Contactor: $279.00 My husband can fix almost anything but this was out of his wheelhouse so he called this company to have someone come out and look to see what the problem was and repair it. Upon completion of the repair, I was a bit stunned to hear the final cost of $418, but it had to be paid because work was already done. Later, because I was calling absolute BS on a contactor costing $289, I decided to do a bit of research. From very reliable sources and my own due diligence of researching cost of that contactor it turns out the part is about $40. Now I don't mind paying for knowledge but it literally took this guy less than 30 minutes (absolute max time) to switch this out and I think a markup of that much in a part is ridiculous. Since I was not there, I can't speak as to how the technician was but husband said he came out within reasonable time, which is good when you are miserably hot and want you A/C back on. I'm just not real happy with the extreme markup of part cost and for that I will NEVER recommend this company. more

I called to get an appt. I figured it wiuld be a few days, even though it was before Pueblo Heated up. I was getting very little air blowing out of my vents. I had an appt. Scheduled for the next day in the afternoon sometime, but they were able to come even earlier. That was cool, they were polite and efficient. I always would call Vigil's & Smith's when I need help. Our AC went out the other evening and I called One Hour first thing the next AM. I didn't know they were open 24 hours. I was then surprised that they could put me in their schedule that morning. Thought I'd have to wait several days. My appointment "time" was between 9 and 1 so I figured they would show up around 4:30 but they showed up at about 10:30!! Again, huge surprise. The gentleman fixed the problem right away (thank goodness it was something minor) and only charged me for the service call. again, I erroneously assumed that there would be a "repair charge" on top of the service call charge but he said no. Even the part he replaced he said was included in the bill. These are definitely the people I will call for my furnace check up and my AC checkup next spring. more
