Super expensive. You better take out a second mortgage if you want surgery or if complications arise. $800 for teeth cleaning, $15 for trimming nails?? I shoulda been a vet. Get y...

Bonita Pet Hospital 10/5/2007

I agree... I also took my puppy to them after having her for 5 days... I was scared and my little girls were sad too. They showed no compassion and had no sense of customer service... I spent over $1000 dollars there and did not even get to say good buy to Lola... :-( When we rushed to the clinic... they had already put her to sleep and handed her to us in a box... that was it! It was cold and insensitive... I am shocked at the previous comment by one of the emplyees (obviously). DO NOT GO THERE!!! I was very dissapointed! more

mrbojanfle003 your an a** and shouldn't own a pet. 9/18/2007

Damn mrbojangle003 no one can every make you f***ing happy can they. Dont you see a problem when you went to 2 pet hospital and you werent satisfied with any of them. Next time watch your pet closley and maybe your pet wont get hurt. I would say its your negligence that got you pet injured you a**. Dont comment on a hospital about not having customer service when you cant treat any once fairly. more

they cleaned me out 8/7/2007

Unless your pet is literally dieing in front of you I would no take him there. I got horrible service. Every time I called to check on my dog everyone was conveniently busy. When they did call me back it was late in the day and my account was aleady being charged for another day's stay. I felt they were out for the $$$$$$. I felt that they did nothing for my dog and after beign cleaned out by this place I had nothing left for second opinions. Pros: open nights Cons: expensive!!!!! more

Good Diagnosis...HANDS DOWN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE 8/2/2007

I took my dog there after a breaking her leg. After $3000 worth of medical services.. Not once did I get a phone call, I always had to call them to check on the status of my dog. The girls up front have ZERO sense of customer service or compassion. They are VERY RUDE and give MAJOR ATTITUDE if you have any billing questions. Even routine appointments can take anywhere between 1-2 hours of your time. There is no sense of time by employees. I never thought it could be as bad as what reviewers were leaving them, but why take that risk with thousands of your hard earned dollars possibly going down the drain. I would never recommend anyone to Bonita Pet Hospital, and don't bother with walk-ins either. I had an appointment and witnessed the worst customer service towards walk-in patients. I recommend going else where, trust me save yourself the heart ache. Pros: Dr. Bernhardt and Ms. Haley Cons: Everyone and everything else more

BAD,BAD,BAD 7/4/2007

I had recently put my puppy to sleep because of lack of information and care from the staff. It seem as if the staff was only interested on knowing if I can put down another $400 after spending $800 the night before at their facility. They mentioned that it would be about $3,000 to hospitalize my puppy for 'Parvo like' symptoms for up to 7 days. I cried and cried for help and asked for other alternatives and informed them that I can not afford it but no help, just ""I undertand"". I even asked the doctor if I can take the puppy home with meds but he claims she was in critical condition after testing negative on the Parvo test the second time. He mentioned that she was best kept at the clinic. I also mentioned that I was a first time puppy or petowner and that I have no clue on what's out there as far as information but again no feedbacks, just ""do you want your puppy cremated?"", ""in a seperate funeral ceremony?"" It was so heart breaking that the staff had no help on suggesting other ways on saving my puppy that I only owned for 3 days. They were only interested on knowing if I was able to pay my bill. Later on when she was gone, I read that there are financial aid for pet owners that was not mentioned by the hospital and also meds you can order 'on line' to help medicate for Parvo for nearly dying puppies and again the hospital did not mention that either. Now I'm left with anger, frustration and hurt. I could have saved my puppy if I was well informed by Bonita Pet Hospital. Just so you know. Pros: 24 hour Cons: No care just Money hungry more

Rude money hungry people without care or understanding 5/30/2007

Dr Chris Houlihan is rude and overly emotional. He misquoted estimates by $3000 and blamed that on Dr.Tomlin's out of date estimate book. Dr. Houlihan became very defensive and loud and arragant when I questioned why it was taking six hours to x-ray my dog after a major car accident? His response....we are doing computer training today and staff is backed up .\r They punctured her bladder and had to do surgery twice to fix the wire they wrapped around a broken femur, this added 5 days to her stay. \r When asking simple questions about the bill we were confronted by a hostile, argumentative Dr. Houlihan that was 100% livid that we would question the bill after his great care of our dog.\r He then said ""listen lady"" and comments like ""i dont like the way your looking at me!!"".\r We qualified for care credit for $5500 AND THEY MADE SURE TO COVER THAT PLUS AN ADDITIONAL \r $500.\r You can never talk to the doctors that run the show or do the operations, you do get Dr. Houlihan who is the middle man they dump on!...He hates his job there and it shows !!\r No follow up calls from anyone ...EVER !! A truly horrible, depressing experience !!! The management here does NOT care about you or your pet! Pros: a couple really sweet ladies that care Cons: rude management that shows no care, no follow up, bad estimate of $3000 mistake more

Best Pet Care EVER!!!! 2/22/2007

After many years of owning pets and seeing vets, we feel Blessed because we are patients of the Bonita Pet Hospital. Doctor Anderson, Doctor Townsend (emergency Dr.), the techs and front desk staff are all extremely professional. Through the toughest times, everything possible was done to care for our dog Wrinkles with love, respect, and science combined. \r We thank you for being the way you are, and we will continue to take our pets and recommend you to all our friends.\r Felipe and Susy Leff Pros: 24 hour care, professional staff and great people skills more

DO NOT GO HERE!! 2/14/2007

My cat recently had a routine dental cleaning and WITHOUT calling me, Dr. Tomblin extracted 8 of her teeth leaving her with 0 teeth. She is now unable to eat and no one on the staff bothered to tell me that I would have to change her lifestyle of eating forever. Instead, the staff sold me an expensive bag of teeth cleaning food eventhough she has no teeth left!! Please do not go here if you love your pet :( Cons: Rude staff & incompetent doctors more

Need improvement on customer service... 10/5/2006

Disorganized and not professional. Din't call me back with lab test results as Dr. T had said he would. I had to call them several times. Didn't call me back. They didn't find the results until a week after. Don't show sincere interest in your pet. Dr. J seamed upset when I asked questions over the phone. I didn't like the customer service since I step in. I do not recommend it. IACD Pros: 24 hrs. Cons: Bad service more
