I had an issue with a computer that I wanted to trouble shoot by buying a replacement power cord. (In case the problem was the cord, not the computer.) The gentleman here advised that I could feel for warmth in the cord block to test whether the cord was functional, rather than replacing it. The issue was probably the computer itself rather than the cord. He advised not buying the cord, but just bringing in my computer to test it. more

For those techies in the know, this store has been in the area for a long, long time. It's a great resource for parts and accessories that are no longer sold in new computer stores. This location offers parts and accessory sales on the first floor and an internet cafe on the second floor. The sales people are pretty knowledgeable too. more

I really love this store. I know it's gotten mixed reviews on here but every time I've been there, I've come back very satisfied. Same goes for everyone I've sent there. The owner is awesome, and will work with your schedule to make sure that you're not unduly inconvenienced by the repairs you need to get. Case in point: I had to get my laptop fixed after spilling some water on it and he kindly scheduled it so that I only had to give up my laptop for just-about 10 hours! more

SO GLAD to find this store and discover it was open until 8 pm. Read the most recent review which was great, but a little concerned about the lesser reviews.I called anyways and chatted with Jeff. He put me on hold to check the inventory to make sure he had the correct charger before I drove over from Oakland. The price was appropriate. When I arrived he grabbed the charger, ensured that it worked properly, and reminded me that there was a 90 day warranty. more

I've been here multiple times for multiple things (buying chargers, getting more space for hard drives, bringing my computer back from the dead (twice), etc) and every single time, their service has been excellent. I've recommended to friends as well and they've all had similar great experiences. The manager's really helpful and knowledgeable, and will work with you so you'll have to spend minimal time waiting around. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

I had a great experience here. The screen on my expensive laptop cracked, and the tech guys at work told me it would cost $700 or more to fix it. After spending far too much time trying to decide how to replace the laptop, it occurred to me to ask Bill how much it would cost for him to fix it. He did the job for half the price. I got a great repair. Best of all, Bill called me when the replacement screen came in, I brought the laptop down and I was able to pick it up the same day, so I didn't have to worry about not having it available. Several months ago, I bought a laptop battery here, and got a good product for a good price. more

They really know their stuff 6/22/2011

These guys are great and they really know their stuff. I had a virus on my computer and it infected all of my files. They were able to save most of my pictures and documents. Now my computer runs good as new and more importantly they recommended Norton Anti Virus so that this never happens to me again. more

I had a great experience 6/21/2011

Despite all the haters on here, I had a great experience. I've been lagging on getting a replacement battery for my 4 year-old G4 and after too much searching online for "the best deal" and not even knowing the batteries were a reputable brand or even reputable for generic, I decided to walk in to these guys. I spoke to Bill and he was extremely helpful and stood behind their generic brand for batteries. He assured me no one has ever come back with a problem with the product but promised a 6-month warranty. He also gave me lots of unsolicited advice about how to keep my G4 happy 'til its very last day. Which in this economy, you bet your bottom's dolla that's what I'm gonna do. more
