Had our 2.5 year old who is great at restaurants, tried to order from the Kid's Menu a Turkey Panini, but asked them not to ""panini"" it because our daughter isn't really into melted cheese. They said they ""couldn't"" do it, and suggested we order a full turkey sandwich ($5 more, plus with all kinds of condiments that are not 2 year old friendly). Seriously? You can't ""not"" toast it? We asked if they could just put together the turkey and cheese sandwich, and just not grill it down. ""That's not a panini, then"" is what they told us. I've never heard of a kids menu that is unalterable. I get it if you are a 5 star restaurant unwilling to alter your signature dishes, but come on! A kid's menu item that you're not willing to budge on, and only willing to if we pay $5 more? Ridiculous.
