Even after correcting the problem he continued to make sure everything was working properly. He took time to explain everything and provided me with additional advise on maintaining the unit. I highly recommend Uptown Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Their Master plumber Jason K fixed the plumbing in my basement. He did a great job. He went above and beyond what could possibly be expected. I have very old plumbing and many different parts of it needed to be repaired. He did a great job at a very fair price. He had given me a quote and he stuck with the quote. He worked with a very difficult plumbing situation because the plumbing was so old. He has excellent customer service skills. When I called he was available to do the work the very next day. He was professional, polite, and courteous. I highly recommend Jason K and Uptown Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling. He did a very high quality repair that will last a very long time. I won’t have to worry about the quality of the work. Jason K, as a Master plumber, resolved all of my plumbing problems. more

On June 18, 2015 I just happened to discover water dripping from the ceiling in my cedar closet onto all the clothes inside!!!! This on the night before I was leaving town by plane early the next morning for the weekend! Before leaving town I emptied that closet, put plastic down on the floor and set buckets on top of it and called Uptown Plumbing for their earliest possible appointment the following Monday. I called on Uptown Plumbing due to rave reviews for their work from a trusted friend to check if the ac system or the roof was the source of the leak. As it turned out, water was not due to my central air but to the roof! After checking out my 25 year old ac central system and its various components, they discovered that it was on its last legs, "overcharged", running on a charging material being phased out, and generally working poorly. Due to the excellent information provided by the technicians mentioned and the rave referral from my friend, I was confident that it was time for a new system and signed up with Uptown Plumbing the same day they came out to check the ac system and the leak, Monday June 22, 2015! They found and marked the location of the roof leak for the roof repair people and called Rob to come out and describe my new system options to me. As a result, they removed the old system and installed the new one two days later. They had arrived at 7:30 AM that morning and were ready to leave at 4:15 PM The installers were efficient, considerate, helpful and courteous. They carefully cleaned up after themselves. They will get all of my cooling, plumbing, and heating business from now on! I feel so good about my decision and the new system is working so much better than the old one. more

I was very pleased with the whole process.They came out when called to check radiators,Infomred me of situation.needed new furnace, some one came out that same day to set up installation time as well as assisted with information regarding financing. Also set up to have asbestos removed which was done, as well as removal of old boiler which they did in a day.Able to install in next day.Both Justin M and Joe were efficient, worked steady through out the day.Very helpful with information with new system.Very pleased would use again.Have very old house so pleased they new about old systems . It was a pleasure to have Jason and Erik work to find the leak in my bathroom plumbing which was causing cracks in my dining room ceiling. They were professional, efficient, diligent, and pleasant. They made sure that I understood what they had done and what next steps I might consider. They arrived when they said they would, took great pains to protect my home from the debris that fell from the hole they had to cut in my ceiing to locate the problem, and cleaned up after themselves. It's rare to find service techs that are as prompt, thorough, and professional as Jason and Erik. I feel very confident the work has been done properly and I felt comfortable having them in my home. When a component in my furnace broke down on the coldest night of the year, I called Uptown Plumbing and Heating. The young lady who picked up the phone around 11 PM sounded polite and friendly. She scheduled me for the morning service. Ian was our technician. He arrived on time, checked the furnace, and explained what was wrong. He fixed the problem in a timely manner and ran additional diagnostics on the furnace. Ian gave me advice on the humidifier, the thermostat, and the water heater. He appeared very knowledgeable and not in a rush, which I appreciated. Thank you Ian and Uptown PHC! more
