I would highly recommend Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. All the service techs who I dealt with were on time, friendly, and professional. Dwight Brooks was the first service tech to come to my home to diagnose the issue with our furnace, and he explained everything very thoroughly and answered all of my questions extremely well. Can't say enough good things about him. And I had a LOT of questions because it was not good news -- we had to replace our 16 year old furnace (which had a 12-15 year lifespan), plus our air conditioner. Carbon monoxide leaks were a concern, and Uptown was super efficient at getting appointments set up later that same day with the engineer and for the next day for the install. I also had great experiences with the engineer and the installation crew. They had great financing and warranty options available, and also offer a $10 / month "Happy Home Club" to basically do all of the regular maintenance and inspections of the HVAC / plumbing / water heater twice a year. One hiccup was that we had no hot water the day after the install... I called Uptown and they had a plumber out within a couple of hours (on a Saturday) to resolve the issue, which had something to do with the settings on the water heater when they were getting everything back up and running after the install, nothing major. They get high marks for owning the mistake and taking care of it as quickly as one could hope for. Lastly, shortly before scheduled arrival they send texts/emails with the name, picture and a brief background of the service tech who will be coming to your door. All around good and thoughtful service; I am a very happy customer! more

Enjoyed working with Tyler. He explained things without overwhelming me with terminology and technicalities I didn’t need to know. He was persistent in finding and diagnosing the problem. Very polite and pleasant to work with. He even fixed a door that had fallen off its hinges for me. He also figured out a work-around to keep my furnace heating during the cold temperatures while waiting for the new part to come in. Really terrific service! more
