I have called several communities today, and NONE have provided the level of service and professionalism your company has demonstrated today. First, when I called you main number, I did not even hear the phone ring, and a professional, friendly voice greeted me, saying 'Thank You for calling Uptown Locators, how can we help you today'. When I was transferred, again, I did not even hear the phone ring when 'you' answered, and addressed ALL of my leasing concerns. If this is the kind of service one can expect at your community, I look forward to vesting next week (Tuesday). It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with you Ms. Tameka! Just moved in. Had some issues to begin with but everything was taking care of immediately. Tameks was on top of things and made sure that I was happy. She called several times to make sure I was ok and even sent some of the guys over to to set up my stuff. After moving in, several of my neighbors came by to say hello and offered to show me around the area. Happy I moved here more

After living in a hotel for three weeks, I was dying to find my permanent home. I called Johnny and immediately knew he understood me, where I was coming from and what I wanted to find. The entire process was so painless compared to finding a residence in Dallas. He offered to pick me up from my hotel on a Saturday and we toured what we both agreed to be my top five options. Johnny gave me all of the pros and cons of each property and area and I felt like I had all of the information I needed to make a sound decision. While all were great places, I fell in love with the last one which Johnny had already mentioned was his top pick and the one he thought I would like the most. I'll say!! We were moving to Dallas and Johnny met with each of us separately over a Friday and Saturday and even met us late in the evening to accommodate our work schedules. He had picked out several places within our price range and made special arrangements with our new LL to accommodate our golden retriever. We were pretty specific about our desired location, size of place that we wanted, and of course price range and Johnny showed us a lot of places and we had 2 choices both of which were great. We are really happy with the duplex that we are moving into and can't wait to get moved. Johnny definitely found us the perfect place! more

I was told that I would be receiving Cantoni giftcards. When I went to pick them up, they gave me some other card to a furniture store... I do not need furniture...I explained the situation to them... She promised me that she would email my Cantoni giftcards... I've been waiting since JUNE.... My apt. had already paid them a referral fee... YANA GREENSTEIN is unprofessional.... She has not returned calls or emails.... This is a scam... Do not use this company... more

When I was moving to Dallas I spent a lot of time looking on my own trying to find my dream apartment. I have a large dog which really limited my options but I didn't want to settle for a bad neighborhood or a crappy floor plan because of it. My sister in law highly recommended Tameka. She showed me a combination of privately owned places as well as larger complexes and helped me find the perfect place. She did not try to sell me on something that I wasn't going to be happy with and honestly talked me through the pros and cons of each place as we looked at them. It's been 6 months now and I am still in love with my apartment. I cant imagine moving to a different one, but if I did I would definitely use Tameka again. Thanks Tameka! more

Uptown Locators found me an ideally located furnished one bedroom apartment in Dallas. It was precisely where I needed to be. This was a welcome alternative to a costly, cramped hotel room. This agency really knows their business. The agent I worked with knew exactly the type of apartment that would work for me. Another plus is that you can view extensive photos of every apartment listed with Uptown Locators on their web site. This was very helpful in the selection process. I would definitely use them again. You pay a fee for their services but it's nominal in comparison to overall savings. Rent from a few days to long term. Thanks a lot Uptown Locators. more

Hi ""21style2"", SORRY, I can't agree with you. I have no idea what they did with you but they gave me the best service. they kept their word. No doubts!!! The best service and apartments!!! It sounds like an ad, but its true. I chose an apartment in carroltton, in March 2010 and everything was like they said. The apartment was nice, cool, perfectly clean and two minutes walking from a subway station. Uptown Locators (Thank you so much, Johnny) phoned me to resolve problems and sent me a contract perfectly clear. The couple who rented me the apartment were more than helpful. Really good persons. No problems with money o fees. Don't hesitate. Uptown Locators is your best, and cheapest, choice to stay in Dallas. Thanks Uptown Locators. more

Believe me that all these positive reviews are from the little broker himself. This is the WORST company in Uptown! You can ask any agent or apartment complex about this company. It's the same response over and over. There has been more TREC complaints on this guy for unethical real estate practices and unpaid agents. THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY TO HAVE REPRESENT YOU. more

Well, I received the email from Uptown Locators as well, and it's funny, I've always been happy with them, but I've never thought to go on and leave a review. I've read some of the ""bad"" reviews, and I am shocked. This company, and the owner in particular has always been very helpful to me, and in fact, anytime that I've spoken to him, I've been surprised that an owner of a company took such a role in tenant communication. I have lived in my apartment for over 3 years and I have never experienced any rude attitudes or unkind behavior, always the opposite. I would recommend to anyone they rent from Uptown Locators. They have taken care of whatever I needed, always! more

Uptown Locators rented me my apartment about 6 months ago, I have bad credit from a divorce and was having a hard time getting someone to rent to me, plus I have dogs.....very hard to find landlords to take dogs!!! Anyways, I just wanted to come on here and put a good word in for them. I rarely take the time to review a service unless I feel either extremely positively or negatively about it. Our experience with Uptown Locators and Michael Pallares made moving to Dallas amazingly effortless and pleasurable. He easily accommodated our schedules (coming from out of town), spending a considerable amount of coordinated time exploring the listings, the neighborhoods. He knew the city demographics very well and had an innate sense of where we would be most comfortable. Michael was a strong advocate on our behalf's, even meeting me once at 6am to ensure something had been fixed! His calming demeanor and thoughtful analysis of our housing options diffused any anxieties and concerns when we made our final decision. That was nearly three years ago. When we moved within Dallas this year, we didn't hesitate to again enlist Michael's help. Sensing a slower market, he ""pulled out all the stops"" to make it happen (multiple open houses--even on a holiday weekend, professional brochure and website, follow-ups on every lead). My two roommates and I were in search of an apartment in a very limited time frame (less than 48 hours). Tameka Norris truly did her homework before showing us apartments. It was quick, easy, and enjoyable (for something that can be so stressful!). She knew exactly what we were looking for and showed us some awesome apartments. I came here when I was looking to rent an apartment (which was great), so I figured I'd come back when I decided to buy a condo. I worked with Tameka Norris and she was phenomenal. She was very honest with places that we looked at, pointing out both good and bad aspects for each condo, but never biased - which was great. Once I found the right place she really helped make the actual buying process easy, even giving me a housewarming gift.
