Vallorie (color) and Korie (cut) both do an awesome job! It is in a cool restored home and the staff is always friendly! I have been there several times and have always been 100% satisfied and I'm picky! It is very expensive, that is the only reason I give 4 stars! Pros: very skilled, nice, relaxing! I recently went to Kali for my first of what I hope will be many wonderful facials. She was professional, knowledgeable and so enthusiastic! I have had lots of not so good experiences over the years at various salons and spas but every experience at Unruli is a wonderful one. Update: I got a Brazilian Blowout from Uli almost 3 months ago. My hair has been smooth and frizz-free all summer without the use of a flat iron. It has been awesome having a wash and go hair style. It was definitely worth the expense. I just can't say enough good things about Unruli! I came to Unruli with some serious hair color issues...what some might call a crisis. Valerie spent several hours working with me and ended up just sending me home to go through color "detox". FYI..never use black malva conditioner daily...Anyway, two weeks later she was able to transform my hair from almost black in places to a honey brown/blonde. On to the cut. Lauren knew exactly how to cut my wavy yet fine hair. It has never looked this good straight or wavy. All in all, I've never been so pleased. My hair looks amazing and quite frankly, I had a good time with the staff. It is salon experience that is beyond compare. Uli and Cory have been cutting my hair and Valerie coloring it for about a year now. After my first visit, friends and family said the new style took years off my look. I have lived in Nashville over ten years now and have always gone back to Miami for all my major hair treatments. With curly, "ethnic" hair, it's hard to find someone who really knows how to properly cut and style your hair. Even though I'd tried getting blow-outs at several different places in Nashville, no one was ever able to straighten my thick, super-curly hair. The last time I was in Miami I got a Brazilian blow-out and loved it so much that I looked for a place here in TN. I was very surprised to find Unruli and decided to get a regular blow-out first. Tara did an amazing job! I loved her and the salon! Even though there are multiple salons closer to me in Green Hills/Vandy area, I will continue to go back to Unruli. As a matter of fact I did go back and got a Brazilian blow-out and it was everything they promised it would be. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone with hard to handle, curly hair. This is a cool place that gives awesome service. They are into the customer. I had the Brazilian Blowout done and it was a blast! Fraizer did a great job, was fun to talk to and was a real pro. My hair is normally curly, dry and thick and the Tennessee humidity doesn't help. The Brazilian Blowout did a minor miracle using only natural ingredients.....I walked out with my hair looking naturally smooth, soft and laying down easily....something I've never experienced. My hair not only looks better, but the natural ingredients will actually make the hair healthier. So I'm a happy camper. I recently moved to Brentwood and have tried a couple of other salons but did not get good color results, so I was looking for someone who could correct my brassy blonde highlights and give my fine hair a great haircut. I was so pleased -- Uli took the time to talk with me about my hair, discuss options that would work with my hair and gave me a terrific haircut. Vallorie had her work cut out and she did an amazing job in bringing my hair back to much more natural blonde highlights -- I love this salon!!! I had my hair cut by Tara and it came out fabulous! It was exactly what I wanted. I then had my hair highlighted by Courtney. She did a wonderful job as well. After living with curly-unruly-hair for so many years, I needed a change. The past few years being told by my peers my hair straightened was much prettier drove me to damage my strong curly hair by using heat too frequently. With my hair out of shape and me with no hope my sister recommended the Brazilian Keratin treatment, it conditions your hair and eliminates frizz completely. I have been to more salons then I even care to count. My hair is damaged, over processed, and ethnic (which adds a whole other level of difficulty). This salon is unlike the others in every way imaginable. It has the upscale feel, but its in a referbished house in the middle of downtown franklin. The stylists are all gorgeous and knowledgable, but extremely nice and sensitive to your questions and concerns. I've always gotten a relaxer to straighten my naturally kink y hair. Uli and Frazier introduced me to the Brazillian Blowout system that straightens hair without harsh chemicals, and with no waiting time. I have tried other keratin treatments, but this one seems to have done a much better job. It also lightened my hair by a couple shades. My hair feels softer than it ever has, and is also resilient against frizz and humidity. I've also had a facial and makeup done but in-house artist Kalli. The facial/massage she gave me yesterday was incredible. I still feel relaxed and balanced nearly 24 hours later. The Aveda makeup she used was perfect for my skin tone, which is so hard to come by! I've tried more foundations than I have salons! Their tinted moisterizer and dual powder/foundation blended into my skin perfectly. Kalli has basically saved my face. And then she gave me all kinds of free goodies on top of it! Pros: Knowledgable owner and stylists. Cons: A little on the expensive side but well worth the investment more

Kalli at Unruli has changed my life... literally. I went in a few weeks ago for a facial with her because I was suffering with the worst acne breakout of my existence. Due to a hormonal change, I broke out across my face, chest, neck, back, arms, and even my scalp. My face hurt so bad, wearing glasses was painful, and I couldn't wear V neck shirts, due to the extensive infection on my chest. It was terribly embarrassing and uncomfortable. After the first treatment with her, my healing time skyrocketed. By the second treatment, my skin had cleared dramatically and the texture was smooth and soft. I went for my third treatment today, and I can't believe what an improvement this has made. She is very knowledgeable and definitely invests in you. I waited a week to post this because I wanted to put my hair through all the paces of my busy lifestyle. I went to Uli last week for a Brazilian Blowout Keratin Treatment, after months of tossing the idea around. I wish I hadn't waited. This is the best thing I've ever done for my hair. I have shoulder length hair and in the summer it usually gets frizzy and just wild. My hair is sleek, manageable and the best part is it takes no time to blow it dry and style! I get more sleep in the morning! I can go from wet hair to blown dry and ready in 10 minutes! On "no-wash" days I might need to touch up the ends with a flat iron. I've gone swimming, I work out daily and I've been outside in high humidity situations and my hair looks great. I can't say enough wonderful things about this treatment. I'm hooked. The BIG day came, July 5th...my appointment to finally get my Brazilian Keratin Straightening Treatment AKA Brazillian Blowout!
