Once upon a time, I had a HORRIBLE color experience at another salon which will remain nameless as I'm just not that kind of person. I was referred to Kim (the owner of TB) by a friend who works for Aveda. I was pretty frantic when I called. I have very fair skin, and my then naturally red hair had turned black at the other salon, and the stylist refused to fix it, blaming it on my porous hair. I called Kim. It was a Saturday late afternoon, the salon was closing in 5 minutes, but she heard the panic in my voice and had me come in. She did a color test, and we both walked over and had manicures at a little nail shop in Park Place. When we finished, we went back to her shop, she rinsed my hair, and fixed my color that day. Needless to say, the salon had been closed for over an hour by that time. That was about eight years ago, I think. I'm still going there, I'm always happy with my hair, and I love that I have enough of a personal relationship with them that when I walk in, they always have a nice hot cup of coffee waiting for me. Keep it up, guys....I'll be there!
