My price on moving day was more than double the original estimate, \r the guys picking up my stuff showed up in worn out clothing and \r in a rental truck. They were rude and inconsiderate of my belong\r ings.\r It has been well over 6 weeks and I STILL haven't received my \r things!! And have had NO communication with anyone in the \r company with an answer regarding my delivery. \r I am reporting these guys to anyone who will listen as I am sure\r I may never see my things again!\r STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!! more

RIP OFF ARTISTS. SCAM ARTISTS. CROOKS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r \r I made a move from NY to CA, and decided to go with Certified Relocations aka Travel Van Lines.. WORST MISTAKE EVER.\r \r After speaking to the sales person, and then the owner, Ofir Morleivi i felt comfortable and excited about the move.\r \r Come move day, my quote of $2,100.00 turned to $6.700.00 due to ""additional items"" when in all reality, i only had 8 extra boxes. They made my wife extremely nervous, during the move. The workers were gawking at her, and my daughter as well.. it was extremely uncomfortable. So at the end of the 8 hour job, the foreman gave me a bill of 6,700 and i almost had a heart attack. I had to pay, due to the fact that my lease was up and i had a flight the next morning. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF. These men should be in jail. more

I moved from PA to FL and I used Travel Van Lines. The man I spoke with was so helpful and on top of everything. I never had to call him he always contacted me and kept me posted. I had a lot of stuff to move and nothing was missing or broken. I was very impressed with their services. I also must say they were fairly priced!! more

Travel Van Lines goes under the guise of another company with an ""A"" rating, when they are actually Certified Van Lines with a ""D+"" rating. Upon arrival, they had changed all the rules, and all the fees on me, and presented me with papers to sign from Certified Van Lines, telling me for the first time that they're the same company. When I contacted ""JR"" the person I had originally scheduled the move with, he relinquished all responsibility and said he had nothing to do with the plans anymore, his job was done. They threatened me with paying the balance in cash only, upon arrival, without opening any doors. I felt like it would be like ""Let's Make a Deal"" and they'd take my cash, and then open the truck only to reveal a goat and confetti. My parents had to run to the bank to get cash while I sat with them. I felt like I was being held hostage in these mafia-style plans, and it was an extremely horrible experience. All of my things were there, but they did manage to drop a box, and break a piece of glass. BEWARE of Travel Van Lines and Certified Van Lines! more

My husband called and asked for a quote from this company; they sent Anthony who subsequently toured our condo, looked at all our belongings, closets, etc. Anthony wrote up a ""binding estimate"" for approximately $7,000. My husband actually thought there was such a thing. There is not! He was tricked into hiring this company because they provided such an affordable quote. The truck arrived at our Bethlehem, PA home 2 hours late. The movers were grouchy and complained all day at the amount of stuff we had to move. They packed the china and crystal (of which many subsequently broke in transit). The movers loaded a truck they claimed was too small and still had 1/4 of our furniture to load. The foreman said they'd have to go back to New York and get another truck for the rest of our move. We were leaving town the same day to drive 3,000 miles to CA! It was a disaster the entire experience! The final price for this move was greater than $13,000! If you want to have faith in your estimator, if you want to have pleasant movers, if you want to trust that all your belongings arrive in good condition, do NOT hire this mover. more

They were very professional when dealing with the service staff at the building I moved from and the new building we moved into. As I have heard horror stories before, these guys moved us with no damage to our furniture and stuck to the original price which had been among the lowest of our quotes. I had never used movers before. These guys were AMAZING. I had a younger man and an older man that said they worked together often (only mentioned because I can't find the card with their names, and I want their employer to know how great they were!) \r \r Their working together alot meant that they worked well together, worked quickly, and were REALLY funny. Not only were they great, but they had me in stitches the whole time! Fun, quick, and completely up front about their quote. They also helped me set up my bed!\r As a young woman who has never used movers before, Travel Van Lines made the experience a delight. more

My husband and I recently downsized our home and moved to the Jersey shore. Travel gave us one of the best quotes and they stuck to it. Ask them about their storage capabilities… they were able to put our things in storage for a week before we could move into our new place. Most importantly, they stuck to their price though my husband did tip the fellas nicely. Thanks for all your help. more

I found these awesome reviews when I was looking for movers and decided to call up Travel Van Lines. I had a ton of stuff crammed into a small space and I had Ofir come over to check out all my junk. He was amazed at how much stuff I had in such a small place and was worried I would not even have room to pack! He checked in with me the day before the move and then I passed the baton over to my mom who came to help as I had to work. Did I mention Ofir was super cute! \r \r These guys were amazing. They were fast, careful and friendly. We were moved in a very short time. I was very pleased. The move could have been harrowing, but it turned out to be very stress-free. The price was super reasonable and they were incredibly quick. These guys are wicked strong! \r I would definitely use them again for any moves in NY.\r more

These guys rock! Ofir and his team had me moved into my new digs in no time... my new pad looked like home after they were through. They even helped me assemble my bed which was a total pain I'm sure. \r \r I was hesitant about spending nearly 400 bucks on movers but I don't regret it one bit... moving sucks, it's best to leave it to the professionals! When I move onto the next place, I'll definitely be calling Travel Van Lines.\r more

Travel came in with a very strong quote, the lowest if I remember correctly and they stuck to it. I know they are a lot of mixed reviews about travel van lines on this site but not ever mover is perfect. So I thought I would put a review about my move experience with Travel Van Lines. I made a move from NYC to Boston for a new job I called several Movers and ever one was calling me back to try to earn my business but one salesman did stand out and his name was Pat from travel van lines his price was a bit higher than the other companies so I said I would take a chance with him since he sound like he was telling me that truth so I put down my deposit and scheduled my move. On the day of the move the movers were waiting for me at 8:45 at the lobby of my build but we could not start moving till 9 since my build wouldn't allow. The Foremen name Was Diego he was with two of his helpers. Diego took his time explaining me about the service again before they started the move he told me pretty much what pat told me they began to wrap the furniture and I could believe how well they warped my furniture they got the truck loaded on time and started heading over to Boston they arrived at my new location about a 4.5 hours later I paid the bill which was only one hour off pat’s estimate which was not bad at all since pat did explain me that my move is by the hour. The guys put all my furniture together set everything up for me and i was very happy with the service and I got a great deal at the same time. So thank you Travel van lines for the great service you provided to me. more

They did an incredible job packing up a large number of plastic bins and boxes, countless plastic bags of clothing along with car seats and strollers, in an organized fashion and made the transition to your new location easier. I am unable to even imagine how we could have done it ourselves. more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I booked a moving service from this company for September 1st at 9.00am, which was supposed to include 3 movers. The company showed up at 10.25 am, almost an hr and a half late, with just two men. When I asked the foreman why he was late; he reportedly said they had a previous job. When asked where the 3rd mover was, the foreman informed me the company only sent two movers. The foreman then came into my apartment, sat down on the table and started to complete the work order form, and he made a comment stating in his words ""I hope you're giving us a good tip"", which he later repeated about 3 more times. The consumer states after about a wasted 20 minutes, the foreman proceeded to help the other worker and they started moving the items out. The contents of the apartment were loaded into the truck which took approximately 35 minutes. Once the truck was loaded, the foreman demanded the money (which was done after he foreman went to his car to calculate the bill). The foreman gave him an exorbitant bill for over $400. When I asked the foreman to itemize. The foreman stated that they charge for every item they wrapped, the foreman stated it was $20. When I disagreed with the foreman more

Travel helped me move my mother-in-law from CT to Florida. They were professional and courteous and helped us get rid of a few extra items as she was downsizing. While they stuck with their original quote, they did charge me a little extra. more

For the second time Travel Van Lines did a great job moving me. On both occasions, Ofir and his crew moved my things in a quick and efficient manner. Despite all the stairs and odd dimensions, they moved everything carefully and with no damage. Additionally, they were courteous throughout the move. These guys are real pros and it is worth it to hire them for your move. Your back and friends will thank you. I definitely plan to use Travel Van Lines when I move again. more

I want thank Terry and his crew for doing wonderful job on my move this weekend. They arrived at 9 am as promised and began wrapping and loading up the truck Terry the foremen took his time explaining me the contract how the whole moving process would work. Travel Van Lines are the absolute best! They were able to help me out wayyyy last minute. Ofir was great from the start. They were on time and hauled all my huge furniture and girly items across town. I couldn't believe how quickly two guys could work. For an extra fee they hauled away a smelly old couch and some broken dressers, so I didn't have to deal with another service.\r Mark hooked up my stereo and other electronics too. I am a girl I just can't do those things. This is the first and only moving company I'll ever use. Did I mention that they were super cute?\r more
