Travel Van Lines

This was truly a nightmare from start to finish. They overcharged us by $3,000. They would only take cash and would not unload the truck unless we paid in full, which we did. They were supposed to unpack and put together a wall unit. They absolutely refused and drove off. They lost at lease 4 or 5 of our cartons. There is no one to complain to. No one answers the phone. This can't be a real company. If anyone out there uses them, you have to be out of your mind. we're very sick over this whole experience. more

First THEY ARE VERY RUDE. They are not actual moving company. They are the brokers. when I talked to them they told that they are not brokers. On the day of pick up they sent a truck with Certified Van Lines on the truck. One of the guy who came was very rude. They breached the contract. I got a flat price quote for the items I listed but this guy told that he had to estimate again. He estimated that I have to pay extra 500 dollars as my sofa's are big. When I was telling him that it is not on the contract the guy was literally arguing loudly. I was very scared.I NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR. AVOID THESE BROKERS. more

I received my delivery 32.5 hours late. I experienced a breach of contract. They actually wanted to charge me more than our written agreement, without even acknowledging the fact that there was such an extreme delay in delivery! The owner verbally attacked me over the phone when I challenged his bad business. He was inappropriate, aggressive and belittling. I never raised my voice once, but he exploded at me immediately. The laborers for this company are good people. But the management is not to be trusted. I was conned. Awful experience! My stomach ties up in knots just thinking about it. more

Hiring this company for a move was a terrible mistake. They charged me for 5.5 hours for a move that was barely 3 hours. I moved from a mile away and they charged me $700. The next day my girlfriend moved to the same house from over 20 miles away and was charged $460. We had the same amount of stuff. When I complained to them they ignored it. When the driver argued on my behalf some guy named J.R. basically laughed at him. I ultimately had to file a complaint with the state attorney general. There are plenty of reputable movers out there, but in my experience this isn't one of them. My advice is to hire a reputable mover and avoid this company. It's a competitive industry and there are plenty of options. This should never be one of them. Stay clear. more
