My husband and I just returned from a glorious trip to IRELAND. Our agent, Laura Singleton, did an amazing job customizing a trip for us. Her professionalism and expertise made this a very easy decision. Laura took care of every detail flawlessly and being new travelers, was most helpful with all kinds of great travel tips. We are already planning our next trip and are delighted to be working with Laura. more

Absolutely professional! look no more! 11/19/2010

I went through two other travel agents until someone recommended Brian at Travel Network. We had so many issues with the other travel agents not getting back to us and neglecting us, but as soon as I started conmmunicating with Brain, he was awesome, so professionsal and prompt, a great mix of personal opinion to help you make a decision with additional options in case you decided to go another route. I highly recommend him, and the entire stafff was helpful and responsive as well. Don't even bother with the other local agents, this is the way to go! \r more

Wonderful Honeymoon... Great Experience with this company! 10/14/2010

I cannot say enough great things about the team at Travel Network! I started researching and planning our honeymoon on my own and found it to be an overwhelming task. I read hundreds of reviews on various websites for several of the locations we were considering for our honeymoon. I came to realize that any website can make a resort look fabulous in pictures...but sometimes the reviews didn't match up. I reached out to Brian at Travel Network and he went above and beyond my expectations. He gave me some great resort options (that I had not found myself online) and he was able to give me inside advice about resorts either he himself had visited or from previous clients he had worked with.. I went home that night and looked everything over as well as checked out pricing online on my own. The BEST part: The price Brian got me was better than what I found online AND he made everything so seamless and simple for us...and he always did it with a smile on his face...he was so professional and kind! He arranged airfare, transportation from the airport the resort, and all we had to do was go by his office and pick everything up the week before we left. It was well worth it (especially considering the stress of planning a wedding alone was enough on our plate) and the pricing was fabulous! We had a great time on our honeymoon (we went to El Dorado Casitas Royale) and we did NOT want to come back! In fact, I ask my husband every month when we get to go back. :) Thank you so much to Brian and the rest of the team at Travel Network... you made our honeymoon a stress-free, memorable, and fabulous experience that we will never forget! I will definitely use them for our next trip! more

Worked with Brian Walker for a trip that included Disney and the Bahamas for my boss. He was very knowledgeable on both and offered some great suggestions. He followed through quickly with emails and was very courteous and patient. My dealings with this agency were very positive! I would definitely call on them again. Pros: Very helpful and quick response time more

Great Experience 8/18/2009

I just back from a vacation to the Riviera Maya that I booked through Travel Network. Brian Walker found the perfect trip for my wife and myself. I researched the trip for months and compared travel sites like orbitz and expedia. Brian got us the best deal and also the best accomodations. We felt safe throughout the entire experience. We did not have to do anything other than relax and enjoy Mexico. The resort he recommended was beyond expectations. I would use travel networks services again. Pros: Travel made easy Cons: None to mention more

Best Travel Agency Ever! 3/21/2009

We just returned from a cruise planned by Travel Network. We worked with Travel Network for over two years planning our cruise. It was a little more complicated than your average family vacation. On our cruise we got married and took 38 people with us. Travel Network organized and took care of all of us from start to finish. Everyone at Travel Network worked very hard to make our trip wonderful. There were a lot details to handle and they took care of them perfectly. Alma and Brian handled many details that did not even fall under their job responsibilities. I will always be grateful to Travel Network for making our wedding cruise go so smoothly and so enjoyable. We never could have done it without them!! I recommend them for any type of travel arrangements, but I especially recommend them for destination weddings. Pros: Excellent Customer Service, Friendly Agents more

Great Customer Service - Even Long Distance 3/19/2009

My friend from college booked her destination wedding through Travel Network. We took an amazing cruise in the Carribean. The wedding was beautiful. \r \r But the best part was that Brian and his team were very helpful in making everything seemless for me. The fact that I live in Alaska wasn't a problem at any time. I received EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE... and I can honestly admit that I was a bit high maintenance in the last few weeks leading up to the cruise.\r \r Thank you to eveyone at Travel Network. I'll be in touch next time I'm ready to get away. Who says your travel agent has to be just down the street? Pros: Customer Service, Communication, Travel Support, Value Cons: None Found more

Very dependable and always there to help! 11/21/2008

My husband Jon and I were looking for a great destination for our honeymoon. We were planning on St. Thomas, but found out it was a little above our budget. Brian at the Travel Network suggested an all-inclusive, adults only resort in Mexico within our budget and we went for it. Now we are already talking about when to go back, and are planning on going with my sister and brother-in-law. It was the best experience we have ever had... so much fun and we have built wonderful first memories of us as husband and wife. Thanks to the Travel Network for suggesting this beautiful resort, and listening to us about what we wanted, how much we wanted to spend, and doing the work for us. When you've got all the stresses of planning a wedding, it was nice to know that the honeymoon was being taken care of in trusting hands! I'm already starting to call up the Travel Network again for help on a Vegas trip! Thank you Brian!!!! more

Wonderful Experience with Travel Network 6/19/2008

Trying to plan a honeymoon can be very overwhelming. I had some ideas on where I would like to go but because this was the first trip out of the U.S., I needed some expert advice. Travel Network was recommended to me so I met with Brian and he basically took things from there. He shared his experiences and then listened to our thougths and what were looking for on our trip. We had the most wonderful trip to Jamaicca and our resort was so great!! We had such a wonderful experience with the Travel Network and look forward to seeing them again to plan our future trips. more

Wonderful Time 6/10/2008

A month ago, my husband and I along with two other couples set off on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise (FABULOUS!). Brian and the staff at Travel Network could not have been any friendlier or accommodating. When we entered our cabins for the first time, we found an unexpected surprise. A bottle of wine compliments of Travel Network and a thoughtful card attached. One of my best friends celebrated her birthday while on the cruise. Brian had arranged for a YUMMY chocolate cake to be delivered to her one night at dinner, even something I could eat. You see, this was special for me too b/c I have an allergy which prevents me from eating certain flours. On our way back, our flight was cancelled. We called Brian on a Saturday afternoon and within 30 mins he had found flight options for returning home. We were pleased with the service at Travel Network and would recommend them to anyone. more

Great Experience!! 4/25/2008

My husband and I have worked with Brian twice planning trips. We have had a great experince working with him. He has always called me back or responded to my emails with any questions or concerns i had. Our first trip got cx due to a hurricane in the tropicals and the day it was cx he was working with my husband on rescheduling it for us. He is a very friendly person to work with. He also called my friend back late one sat. night when she had missed placed her documents for a cruise that we are going on. My friend was very concerned about getting her documents replaced and i told her to call him and he called her back with in 30 min. i would recomend travel network to anyone!!! Thanks Brian for your help!!! \r Kevin and Melissa, Wendell NC Pros: Friendly, Returning call or emails more

Terrible Experience! 4/22/2008

\r A friend had used Travel Network several years ago (under different management) and recommended this agency to me. I made an appointment and met with Brian about a trip I was planning. My first doubts came when he yawned most of the time I was there. I was not sure if he found me boring or was tired himself....but not a great way to start! He told me he would e-mail me some information, but I never received it. So, I called and never got any calls back. Then, after a week, I called again and was told the computers were down, then Brian was out of town, then they were taking care of some groups and would be sure to get back to me with information. I e-mailed again two more times and called several times after that. NO RESPONSE!!!!! I read what others have written recently about the poor customer service and I agree 100%. Every potential client should be treated with respect and common courtesy. Travel Network has not learned this.....do not waste your time. Bad experience! Cons: Customer Service Very Poor more

Great Agnency 4/15/2008

Brian was great at helping me plan a family trip to Beaches Resort. My family and I had a fantastic vacation that was stress-free and fun to plan. I will be a repeat client! Thanks!!! Pros: helpful agents Cons: n/a more

Terrible Customer Service 4/3/2008

\r I live near Creedmoor Rd. and was planning a trip with my family to Europe. I decided to call Travel Network. I have NEVER received such terrible customer service anywhere! No return phone calls after many messages left. When I did finally speak to a person who answered the phone, I was then given to some one else who was then busy and I was told they would call me back. That call never came. I then called again and attempted to schedule an appointment, but again no follow-up. I never received a phone call (left many contacts for them to reach me), so assumed finally that my business was unimportant to them. I did hear that they recently changed owners. No excuse for this poor service.\r \r Having worked in customer service for years as the owner of a restaurant in Raleigh, if I treated my customers like this....I would be out of business. Travel Network may be soon. Don't waste your time- there are many other agencies in the area who would appreciate your business. Cons: Poor customer service, no follow up more

AMAZING VACATION 3/11/2008

This was the first time I went somewhere tropical and it was the best experience I could have asked for! I went to St. Lucia with my boyfriend. Laura Singleton was fabulous! She got us amazing flight times so we could maximize our vacation. She even got us a tour of a volcano and snorkeling included in our trip! She made sure everything was perfect. She was even able to suggest the type of room we should reserve so we could have the best view for the best price. We ended up getting an ocean view room as well as having the pool right outside our door, I couldn't have asked for anything more! All we had to do was walk out the door and we were at the pool and then walk across the pool deck and down the steps and we were on the beach. I had the best vacation and I know it would not have been as good without Laura's help and hard work. Pros: It was perfect! more

No customer service at all! 2/22/2008

I called Travel Network more than three days ago and left a message inquiring about their services to help plan a vacation. I left both my work and mobile phone numbers. No one bothered to call me back. With ""service"" like that, I guess I'll just plan my own vacation. Pros: I wouldn't know -- they never called me back. Cons: See section on ""Pros."" more

Smooth cruising, experienced agent, great price 11/19/2007

Travel Network recently arranged a combination bus ride to Jacksonville Florida, a stay in a motel and a Carnival cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. Everything went smoothly and all accommodations, bus ride, motel stay and cruise ship cabin, met or exceeded our expectations. Laura Singleton, the travel agent and tour coordinator, was always there checking and double-checking, handling problems as they occurred and in general making everyone feel comfortable and well cared for. The overall price couldn't be beat and in general we are thoroughly satisfied. Thank you, Laura! Adrian & Marie, Raleigh, NC Pros: Experienced agent, good prices, reliable service Cons: n/a more

Laura's Great! 11/18/2007

We just returned from a 5-day cruise to Key West and Nassau and a bus trip (Raleigh, NC to Jacksonville, FL, and return) that Laura Singleton with Travel Network arranged. She did a great job in taking care of our group of almost 50 people. She handled the details and made sure everyone was knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip. She went beyond expectations in planning activities for us, both on the bus and during the cruise. Her special touches made this a memorable experience. She is a special person--one we'd recommend without hesitation. Pros: Excellent service and attention to detail more

Outstanding customer service 7/25/2007

I've worked with Travel Network for over three years now, and they are amazing. I use them for booking all types of business travel, but they've also been helpful with vacations too. I really appreciate that they know - and remember - my needs, and that they really go the extra mile to take care of their customers. I am comfortable booking my own travel online, but Travel Network helps me find options I hadn't thought about. I also get follow up calls or emails to make sure that I have all the information I need - you definitely don't get that from an online service! Pros: Very sensitive to budget constraints, knowledgable about group travel more
