Best

I strongly recommend 760Plus Credit Score. They really helped me so much, after already paying a con-artist who just took my money and did nothing for over a year, I discovered 76...

Worst

Less than optimal experience in regards to their financing dept. but overall an alright purchase.

i am very happy 8/27/2010

I am a first-time buyer with a ""baby credit"". After really bad experience with another big (not Toyota) dealership, I went to Toyota of Lake City very suspicious and worried about everything. I had great experience with them despite all my fears! Our sales associate, Sean Kong, was very friendly and patient and answered all our questions and concerns professionally. He found the car I wanted pretty fast although they are not easy to find right now. The finance manager, Lap Nguyen, helped us to get good financing deal, so our monthly payments were even less than we expected. Everybody we dealt with were very professional and friendly. I am very happy with my experience at this dealership and my new little Yaris and I would definately recommend Toyota of Lake City to my friends! more

recommend this dealership 8/23/2010

I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new Toyota. Why? 1. I got the best deal. I traded an '06 Avalon Ltd for a 2011 Avalon Ltd. I got quotes from three other dealers and none came within a thousand dollars of Lake City. 2. I dealt with a salesman who was cordial, responsive, and who did what he said he would do. 3. I have had great follow-up from the dealership's Customer Relations Representative. more

fun 8/20/2010

I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a new 2008 Prius.\r \r A little background.... I decided to do my due diligence and check around for the best deal on a new Prius. During my preliminary shopping, I quickly learned that the Prius doesn't exactly grow on trees and most dealers won't even talk about a break on the price. A couple of the dealers that I checked with treated me like I should know better and didn't even return my calls. \r \r I kind of stumbled onto the Lake City dealership accidentally after reading a horrible review on Magic Toyota; see the BSue R. review on them. I checked out their website and found that they had several Prius in stock. I called up the Internet sales guy who actually bothered to give me the time of day and answered all of my questions. He gave me a good price and they had what I wanted so I agreed to come into the dealership. I was a little skeptical of going in because I figured that as soon as I got there they would tell me that the Prius that I wanted was sold and that I could have a Purple one with Yellow polka dots for only $2000 more. I couldn't have been more surprised when I arrived and the exact car that I wanted was sitting in the showroom. Hanging on the rearview there was a tag with my name on it. This was a nice touch.\r \r The rest of the process went well and I was out of there in about an hour. Everyone that I came in contact at the dealership seemed like they actually enjoyed their job and were having fun, (I guess they probably do pretty well selling Toyotas). I never thought that Id ever be writing a glowing review about car dealer but it was actually fun to buy my Prius and I think the folks at Lake City had something to do with that. more

recommend them with no reservations 8/9/2010

I bought a car here last month. I didn't want to do the whole hard sell cars sales process, so after doing research realized that I could do the whole sale online. I e-mailed Lake City as well as other auto dealerships and after communicating with Rebecca at Lake City, I decided to go and look at a car at Lake City. Rebecca wasn't available when I got there, so she left me with the other Internet Sales Associate, Christian. From the time I met Christian to the time I actually bought the car, it was a great experience. There was no hard sell and Christian even told me that I qualified for a $1000 mfg's rebate. When I asked him to hold the car for me while I waited for a parking spot at my apartment building, he was able to do it. When I needed a letter at the last minute for my insurance company, he provided it. Rebecca and Christian are great and I would recommend them with no reservations. more

Great Sales and Service 6/9/2010

In 2006 I purchased a new 2006 V6 Base, Toyota Rav4 from Rebecca, and the experience was easy, professional and seamless. After 3 years of trouble free issues with the car, I gave it to my Mom, who needed a dependable vehicle.\r \r After the Toyota, I thought I wanted an expensive, maintenance-riddled Land Rover / Range Rover HSE, and after 1 year said 'enough was enough'. I called Rebecca, and admittedly, I had reservations to go back to a Toyota after the ""Range Rover Experience"".\r \r Rebecca made the transition painless. I requested copies of invoices, various vehicle demos, different pricing scenarios, *etc., etc.*, and after about a 1-week process, she absolutely maintained her professionalism. I’ve been to other stores, and if you’re not ready to purchase, after an hour of grueling sales pitch – don’t let the door hit you on the way out!\r \r My favorite quote from Rebecca: ""I’m here to help, and as much as I’d like to sell you a vehicle, I’d much rather have you totally confident and comfortable about your decision."" I was sold! I called her, and had her come into the store – on her day off- , to purchase my new Rav4. \r I was so happy with the vehicle, and the transaction, I showed it off to my good friend – who purchased an identical vehicle from Rebecca, the next day. \r \r From past experience, Greg at the Gold Team is incredible; Duane in detail works magic on the scuffs and bumps of life. All in all, I’ll keep recommending ‘Toyota of Lake City’, and they have my future business. Good job!\r Pros: Great communication, gives all info w/o hassle Cons: dealership needs a remodel (coming soon!) more

TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP AVOID IF POSSIBLE 12/14/2009

VERY DISSATISFIED with the dealership. AVOID if possible!!! Maybe it's just me, but this was my experience at this dealership... I went in there to buy a Rav4 and test the vehicle. On the ""test drive"", we went up the hill right outside the dealer, then went over 2 blocks or so and the salesman already wanted me to turn back into the dealership. How am I supposed to test the vehicle well if they won't even let me test it on the highway or drive it further?? The salesman also didn't try to explain the features of the car during the test drive! Also, the salesman was dishonest about the location of the vehicle and the mileage on the odometer (claimed it was low/under 10 miles). He tried to sell me another similar vehicle that he claimed was being detailed at their dealership so I couldn't see it yet. Apparently, this vehicle was on another dealership's lot at the time of the purchase (vehicle had over 160 miles on it). The manager claimed that it was an error in communication, but no one informed me of the mistake until I requested to see the vehicle upfront the following day in the afternoon. To make up for their mistake, the manager offered to get me another new vehicle, which I accepted, but when the vehicle finally arrived, they decided not to sell it to me after waiting for 2 weeks for it to arrive at the dealership. YEAH, you read it right... WAITED 2 WEEKS WITH ALL THE PAPERS SIGNED AND PAID THE DOWN PAYMENT TO FIND OUT THEY DECIDED NOT TO SELL THE VEHICLE TO ME ANYMORE.. their reason was that I seemed too dissatisfied with their dealership and they couldn't do anything to make up for it. Of course I was dissatisfied.. THEY LIED TO ME AND WASTED MY TIME! You have been warned so beware when you go to this dealership. They seemed nice at first, but becareful when you finally make your purchase. Pros: Appeared nice at first Cons: Liars! Lied about vehicle location and odometer. more

Great place to buy a vehicle 8/5/2009

After having a terrible experience at Burien Toyota, I headed up to Lake City. They were willing to take their time and didn't pressure me at all on buying. I spent more time talking to the salesperson about photography than him trying to sell me a truck. I also received a thank you call from them for mailing them a pair of extra keys. That says a lot! Pros: will take as much time as needed Cons: nobody ever feels like they got a deal at a dealership ;) more

Great Service 7/31/2008

As a first time car buyer, I was very apprehensive. Everyone at Lake City Toyota was extremely nice and made every interaction enjoyable. A special shout out to Tom, who sold me my awesome RAV4 and AnnaMarie, who is a joy to work with! Thanks for everything :-) more
