I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a new 2008 Prius.\r

A little background.... I decided to do my due diligence and check around for the best deal on a new Prius. During my preliminary shopping, I quickly learned that the Prius doesn't exactly grow on trees and most dealers won't even talk about a break on the price. A couple of the dealers that I checked with treated me like I should know better and didn't even return my calls. \r

I kind of stumbled onto the Lake City dealership accidentally after reading a horrible review on Magic Toyota; see the BSue R. review on them. I checked out their website and found that they had several Prius in stock. I called up the Internet sales guy who actually bothered to give me the time of day and answered all of my questions. He gave me a good price and they had what I wanted so I agreed to come into the dealership. I was a little skeptical of going in because I figured that as soon as I got there they would tell me that the Prius that I wanted was sold and that I could have a Purple one with Yellow polka dots for only $2000 more. I couldn't have been more surprised when I arrived and the exact car that I wanted was sitting in the showroom. Hanging on the rearview there was a tag with my name on it. This was a nice touch.\r

The rest of the process went well and I was out of there in about an hour. Everyone that I came in contact at the dealership seemed like they actually enjoyed their job and were having fun, (I guess they probably do pretty well selling Toyotas). I never thought that Id ever be writing a glowing review about car dealer but it was actually fun to buy my Prius and I think the folks at Lake City had something to do with that.
