This is the second time this week that I took my Sequoia to Toyota of Cool Springs for service. Both times I ended up paying extra money for something they broke during the service and the wait time has been excessive.\r

Today, they told me, if I was there at 7:00 am when the doors opened, I should have my vehicle back by 10 am. I was there at 6:50 am and finally drove away at 2:00 PM! The advisor’s explanation was, ""Well, we had to go get a part from another location and it took a little longer"". What kind of a dealership doesn’t have a part for a routine brake job? \r

Further, they assured me that my truck would be ready by 10 am so that I could take as little time off from work as possible. I made the mistake of walking home and waiting for their call since I only live down the street. I personally think if you’re not in their face waiting for your vehicle, they push you off. \r

Four hours later than promised, my truck was finally repaired, although at a price higher than expected due to being charged for a part they broke. I asked to speak to the service manager about my concerns, but she apparently couldn’t break away from her phone for a few minutes. \r

In thirteen years of utilizing service from various Toyota dealerships, I have never had such a negative experience. My Sequoia hasn’t been, and won’t be, to a non-Toyota dealer for service, but I’ll certainly be finding another dealer to take care of us in the Franklin/Nashville area. \r
