Incredible 6/3/2011

Jeff was incredibly friendly and walked us through any questions we had. It was a nice experience and did not feel pressured at all during our purchase experience. Financing was a simple process and we got a great rate on our new Scion xB. When it came time to sign the paperwork and setup the payment contracts David was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions and did not rush us when we wanted to read the fine print of our contracts. We could not have had a nicer experience than we got at Toyota of Gladstone. more

I came in on Friday May 13 and test drove the Rav $ with Jessie. The car handled great, and Jesse was very informative and helpful. After doing my homework I phoned in my bid to Ryan and this was accepted. I came in this morning and within 2-3 hours I drove my Rav 4 off the lot. This was painless and hassle free. I will definitely reccommend Gladstone Toyota to friends. more

Love this dealership! Great friendly staff. Everytime I went there I was greeted with open arms and a sense that they didn't just want to make a sale. I felt they wanted to know ms and my needs and to help fi d the best car for me a the best price. I never gelt pressured into buying the vehicle and that is really comforting. When I was purchasing my 2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5, I scoured several dealerships in Oregon before completing my final negotiation with Toyota of Gladstone. At ToG, they really have their act together. From sales to service, their focus is to ensure that the customer is happy with the process of buy and taking care of a car -- they're focused on making sure you leave happy. I've had my vehicle serviced at Toyota of Beaverton and at John and Phil's Toyota, but they just don't take care of you like they do at Gladstone. For instance, EVERY time I get my car serviced, I know that Aaron of the Gold Team is going to be taking care of me; EVERY time I bring my car in, Aaron takes me on a 360 examination of my car, noticing scratches and bumps I hadn't even noticed! One of the things I really appreciate about Aaron is that he takes his time to listen to my concerns and asks questions to ensure that he understands what his group needs to look at to address my concerns. I have several examples of this, but I'll just list a few here: (1) I installed after-market nerf bars shortly after purchasing my car. These nerf-bars required removal of fasteners which help connect the 4Runner body to the frame -- after I installed them, the car groaned each time I accelerated or stopped. I told Aaron about this and he said that his team would take a look. I get my car back a few hours later and the groaning is gone! He had his team had uninstall and reinstall the nerf bars as a complimentary service. Not only was he proactive in identifying and solving the solution, he had done this at no cost to me, even though I had created the problem. I felt very happy about this since it was my first interaction with the service department and they didn't try to charge me for every single thing they did that wasn't covered under warranty. +1 for customer loyalty. (2) Oil changes -- this is a transparency thing. I can always be sure that ToG uses the right oil and replaces my filters and gaskets as necessary. Every item (e.g., quart of oil, gasket, r more

Jenny Rhodes has been our service coordinator for the entire time we have owned our Prius. She is spectacular - always a smile on her face and handles the details of our service visits with ease. She makes it easy to understand the service work that will be performed, never pressures us to do more than necessary and always has the car ready when she promises. She is spectacular! more

Always friendly service 5/19/2011

I have had another good experience at Toyota of Gladstone. The service is always friendly and they go out of the way to take care of me. They delivery me home and then pick me up when the car is serviced. This is exptremely important for me as many times I do not have any other way to get my car back home. They also help me think through what I specifically need for my car each time I visit. Peggy is great. more

I took my Sienna 2004 for the service today. I really enjoyed even waiting for an hour half at waiting room. They have little refreshment and coffee. The people are very friendly and delightful. The service quality they've done is not the first time and alway no problems at all. They work hard and they are trying to give their customers the high quality, the best service. more

I have been coming to Toyota of Gladstone for many years both for purchase of a vehicle as well as service. I live in North Portland so it is quite a drive but very worth the effort. I went in looking for a new car thinking that I wasn't going to buy right away. The customer service and friendliness of the staff, especially Chris and Ryan, was so outstanding that I ended up purchasing my car that night. They both went out of their way to make sure I found exactly what I wanted. They were never pushy or made me feel uncomfortable. Being a 26 year old female, I was prepared for battle, but no bloodshed was needed lol. Chris is new to the dealership, but made it clear that if he didn't have an answer for me, he would find it. I worked through Bank of America's car buying program which has a "lowest price guarantee". I was able to purchase my car from the invoiced amount with only the smallest amount of profit for the dealership to cover their costs. No price bargaining which was amazing. They made sure everything with the car was perfect before they even allowed me to drive away and already have me scheduled for a 30 day checkup. All maintenance is included for 2 years at any Toyota dealer as well. I would and already have recommended this dealership. Ask for Ryan or Chris! more

Friendly and knowledgable 5/11/2011

Well not only were the staff friendly, but also very knowledgable. The service department went above and beyond in showing me what was needed to be replaced. Not just telling me what needed to be done but actually showing me. You just dont see this kind of service anymore. They also do very detailed inspections to make sure that the vehicle is in great working condition. Fast service, friendly faces, and very knowledgable. What more can I say? more

I am consistently impressed with Peggy Maben at the Gladstone Toyota service dept. She is always friendly and helpful. I've never had a problem with scheduling, and the team there is ready for my car upon my arrival. Peggy remembers her customers which keeps us coming back. We've bought Toyotas from other dealerships in town but bring them to Peggy for servicing. She definitely has my trust. more

Jeff JR. is an exceptional young man, friendly, courteous and helpful. He has followed up the sale and answered questions knowledgeably. In fac, I find the whole dealership that way. When I call in with a question, I am given the answer promptly without hassle and with courtesy. When I was in for service, I was quickly served and questions answered. When I went out the door to go to lunch, someone opened the door for me. I have already recommended the dealership to someone else, but they decided they did not need to trade vehicles, so nothing came of it, but I would be glad to do it again.When I first called in, I was given over to John Hill, one of the managers. Later when I called back, he was willing to take my call and answer my questions before I even came in, offering to buy a tank full of gas as an incentive to make the drive, since I do not live in Gladstone. Of course later the dealership recouped the cost because I had not used much of it before we were back and made a deal, but even so, it was a nice touch. I was asked to rate the "price". I have nothing to compare it with so I don't actually know if I got a good deal or not, but we are satisfied with it, and that is sufficient reason for the rating.I am surprised to see that other dealerships have the same rating, but I still say the experience was exceptional: thus,all 5's. more

I purchased my Honda Element from this dealership, and later I found it had a cracked engine block. My extended warranty did not cover this repair, so the dealership decided to replace the engine with another used one. The engine they replaced it needed a new part, so they ordered it and didn't charge me a dime for any the repairs. They paid for my rental car too. Jenny was helpful from beginning to end. She kept me informed and was so nice to work with. Jenny made my experience excellent from beginning to end. She works with the purple team and I recommend her and the dealership to everyone now. They will took good care of me and will do the same for you! more

Peggy has been my service manager for many years. She is very professional, curtious, helpful and is one of my main reasons for getting all three of my toyotas serviced at this dealership. Most of the service I feel is reasonable in price; but, some are absolutely rediculously high. Overall I have had a great experience with this Toyota dealership. more

Go to this dealership. These people make buying a car downright pleasant. Duy ("Dewey") really listened to what I wanted and found the right car for me. It was easy to reach a fair price. (I had shopped at another dealership before I went to Toyota of Gladstone and was not able to get what I thought was a fair price at the other dealership, so it was refreshing to work with Duy and Sean at Gladstone.) Everyone I encountered at this dealership was courteous. The customer service was so outstanding, all I can say is it surpasses anything I have ever experienced anywhere else. If I ever need another car in the future, I will return to Toyota of Gladstone. more
