A bearing went out in our dryer and we were recommended TMI by a friend. They were quick to get a repairman out to our house to get it fixed. Something must have been put back together incorrectly, because we had an issue the next day on the first run of the dryer after we put clothes in it. We called TMI and told them of the issue and they got someone out the same day to correct the issue with no additional cost to us. The dryer is running perfectly again. more

had to have TWO service people, with two fees before work started. one did change an old shut off valve to gas line because it was not to code.... but did not feel line connecting the gas to dryer needed replacing....my question to be answered. other replaced electrical parts, carefully hooked up dryer so connecting line would not be pinched as before and checked dryer worked ok. more

Called TMI about our dryer. The receptionist was very friendly and got us set up for service as quickly as possible. The serviceman was very nice and knowledgeable, and he got our dryer repaired within an hour. The cost was reasonable. We were happy that we didn't need to replace it and he said he'd try to keep it running as long as possible. Thanks TMI! more

Service was prompt. One of the few companies that was able to come out the same day. The technician was competent and polite. My biggest issue was the pricing. First they would not quote a price over the phone. When the technician was done looking at my water heater, Which need a thermocouple, he open his service book. He explained they charged by the job and this job fell in to this category. The page had several listings on it which I did not get to read. He finished the service and when he was preparing the bill an additional travel charge was added. When I questioned the price he just took off the travel charge. It was all very shaky and made me think that the price was what ever the technician thought he could charge. I know I could have said no to the service but we we without hot water and other services were stating several days before service. I am not sure I would recommend TMI based on their sketchy pricing. TMI was so friendly and professional and did a great job installing our humidifier. I thought it wasnt working right the next day and they came out in between other calls for the day to check on the unit. I could not be happier with their service. I have already recommended them to my neighbor. more
