I use Mission Maids once in a while when my home needs a good cleaning. The teams they send out are always efficient and friendly. The quality is consistent between the teams which I like a lot. I scheduled an appointment on Monday. The Mission Maids were suppose to show up between 10:30 to 12:30, but they never did. I called them at 11:30 to make sure that they were coming, but nobody answered. So, I left a message on their machine. At 12:30, I called them again but nobody answered. I left home at 12:40. When I got to work at 12:50, I got a voice mail from them saying that maids are on their way. When I called them back explaining that I was not there anymore, the person on the phone said that maids have been at my house for 15 minutes (not true). Then he asked me to rescheduled, but I refused. more

They have been cleaning our home for several years. They always send the same team unless they are on vacation. The manager will come by and inspect their work from time to time. We used to use Molly Maids and then Amaidzing, both were sub par. We like the fact that Mission Maids will do the extra things when we need it. Pros: Same teams each trip. Our apartment is not large or difficult to clean. It is one bedroom and one bath with no bed to change. We also provide all the cleaning products needed. We had a less expensive maid service, but switched to Mission Maids because they advertised that they had good customer service and could send the same team at the same time each week. We tried this service for two months and this was never the case. Our regular team was very good, but there were consistent problems with substitute teams being sent instead. The substitutes were sent without any warning; they arrived hours late and spent less than forty-five minutes cleaning, even though they were paid for an hour. The last time, they were here for just forty minutes and did a very shoddy job. They sprayed the windows with furniture polish and didn?t sweep before they mopped, leaving a sticky residue full of goopy wet dust clots all over the floors. The stove and cabinets weren?t even wiped off. When we called and spoke to the female manager at the company, she was hostile and argumentative rather than trying to resolve the problem. A very disappointing experience given that the company advertises itself on its supposed high level of service?we gave them every opportunity and they just didn?t seem interested in doing their job. We just finished remodelling our home after a pipe burst. They came out with all the gear and cleaned the house from top to bottom. Overall the job was good, there was one or two minor issues. The girls were at the home all day and I think might have worn down towards the end of the day. It was a big job. They called to follow up, we explained our concerns the manager came out the next morning to check and he sent a team to fix the the issues that same day. We were really happy with the final result. The maids arrived ontime and worked quickly through our home. The did a good job, however their english skills weren't the greatest. They provide their own equipment which was useful since we were moving out and all our stuff had been packed. We were able to get back our deposit because of the solid job they did. more

My parents were coming into town and they decided to come a day earlier. AAH!! I was in a panic because my apartment was a disaster! Mission Maids were able to come out that morning and got my place looking great. I was able to leave the maids in my home while I went to the airport to get my parents. They are ontime and the maids worked quickly. The estimate was right on and there follow up was excellent. We were very happy and have signed up for reg servcie. I like the fact that the maids can vary waht they do each trip because our home is large and not all of it needs to be cleaned each trip which allows us to keep the cost down. more

The mission maids did a good job, but were pretty slow for two people. It took them four hours to clean a two bedroom two bathroom condo. Since they charge by the hour, they seem to take their time. My bill to clean my place was nearly 300.00. I have had other cleaning services clean my place, and the bill was 85.00, the job wasn't any better, but the price was more than three times as much. I would go somewhere else, unless you don't care about the money you will spend. more

It's funny how Mission Maids responds to all the negative reviews with excuses or by blaming the client. I made an appointment and they didn't show up. I waited three hours and ended up cleaning up myself. I wanted to arrange a regular cleaning service but if I do it will not be with mission maids. They didn't call or return my phone calls. more

We just had a highly positive first experience with using Mission Maids. Both Marina & Fernando (aka Team #7) showed up on time, were very organized (showed up with all their supplies, including a vaccum), and completed their work within the estimated time given at the time of booking. I can't express enough how impressed we are with how much pride they take in their work. We are two very busy people with a home that is wall-to-wall with bamboo floors; therefore dustballs were everywhere; our kitchen and bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in at least two months; and our office workstation was cluttered with gear and documents. For our 1500 sq ft home this first job took exactly 3 hours, which is reasonable considering the state some of the rooms were in (at one point I even heard scraping in the bathroom. Is that too much information?). Items were considerately organized into piles or neatly stored away. We feel very comfortable with their ability as they know which cleaning products are appropriate for a variety of surfaces (bamboo, granite, etc). Their motto must of been ""Leave No Trace"" because no dust ball, no crumb, no trash, and no stain was left behind. My husband commented, ""the home is so shiny it hurts to look at it."" Needless to say, we're very pleased and have rebooked with Team #7 next month. :) Pros: Good Staff, Reasonable Rate, Punctual, Organized Cons: Appointments are booked given a 2 hour window (though understandable) more

We contacted Mission Maids after we had our floors refinished in our home. The crew came out and got all the dust out of all the knooks and crannies where it had settled. They even suggested that we have our AC ducts cleaned becasue dust settles in there too. Apparently once you run your AC the dust can be blown back into your house. We have been using Mission Maids for a while. They are always time, if they are stuck in traffic they will call. They send out the same maids each trip and the maids do speak english which I like. I called mission maids to have them clean my house before a party. They didn't even call me to tell me they weren't coming. I had to do an rush job cleaning in my party dress. By the time the party started I was so mad and stressed. I called them to help make my day easier not worse. Next time I'll just start earlier and do it myself. Avoid them at all costs. I am the guardian for my cousin who lives in West Hollywood. He lives alone and has learning disabilities. We contacted Mission Maids and explained the problems and the condition of the home. They were very understanding, apparently this problem is frequent and they had dealt with it before. They came out and really got his place clean.....I never thought it would look this good. They were very careful and did a great job. We were able to bill my credit card and we have decided to have them come out every week. I like the fact that we can pay with cc and that they will send the same team each time. Other services we contacted simply weren't interested in solving such a difficult situation. Note to the management, you seem to have an excuse for every unhappy customer and although I could see responding to one review you respond everytime! I actually got a big laugh and will choose another maid service although someone recommended yours as 'pretty good'. Perhaps you should spend less time defending and more time on customer service! :) more

We had a water pipe burst in our house. Mission Maids came out within 2 hours and helped us clean up our home which was a disaster. They also recommended a carpet cleaner who also showed up later that day as well. The maids did a great job, the price was reasonable and the responsiveness was really good.
