I joined this gym almost 3 years ago. Most of the equipment functions although it's not new and some are difficult to adjust because of age. I enjoy working out and feel better and the rate is fairly reasonable compared to other facility but you get what you pay for. In all my time there, I have had no assistance with workout routines or the machines. The person who signed me up got fired the next day, the next person ""forgot"" to ""fill out"" a routine for me, the next person just didn't have time, etc. If you ask for help, it is made clear you are bother and you will not get any smiles or hellos or offers of help. If you are young, slim and pretty, you will probably get attention from the fairly new male manager but other than that, don't expect any personal training. A few months ago, I actually got my hopes up a little because a new girl was walking around with a clipboard doing ""surveys"" regarding your experience with the gym. I told her my experiences and she said she would pass on the information to the new manager. I never heard a word. What she was really doing was collecting names to try to sell memberships. It's not filthy, it's not peeling paint, it's just a room with equipment to use. If you are ok with that, then join. If you need help or like to feel warm and welcome, don't join.
Pros: Most equipment in decent shape
Cons: Zero customer service, zero assistance, cold and unwelcoming
