Tech Service 2u

I took a hard drive that crashed to them. After months I was told they recovered almost a full tb of data. I called several times while it was at the lab to check on it. I would need to purchase a new drive for the data to be transferred and I would need one with at least 1tb because of everything they retrieved. They said to bring it to the store and they would do it there. I bought the new hard drive and had a 14 day window if it was defective or I wanted to return it. I took the new drive to Tech 2 You where they informed me the actually had to send it to the lab in CA. I told them about the 14 day window. They assured me someone would rush it and they would call me on Monday (2 days later). I contacted them after a week wondering what the heck was going on. No one contacted me as promised. They said it would be arriving in a few days. I received a message 2 days ago that it was ready for pick up. The day I was going in to pick it up I received a call from Will who said they didn't use my provided drive, it was still sealed. They provided a drive as a courtesy to me because they were only able to recover 215g vs. the 1tb I was already told. Now I have a pricey hard drive I can't return (it went over 14 days). I didn't need to even purchase the drive let alone one that size. They led me to believe my entire drive was recovered which was not the case. I was sill charged the same amount. NEVER use this company. They are a rip off and have no interest in helping their customers. more

Jesse was great on the phone, and set up the appointment. Wencel arrived right on time, and went straight to work. He thought it was going to be fast and simple, but even when frustration set in, he remained calm and professional. Wencel demonstrated another advantage of Tech 2u, by reaching out to his fellow service techs. One of them had faced a similar problem and pointed Wencel in the right direction to solve our dilemma. We used your service to help us with some computer issues we had been having. Mike H. was the representive that came out to our home. He was very nice and professional. He explanined everything that he was doing and was through when breaking down the fees. We appreiciate the time he took with us and the manner in which he conducted himself. I was having issues with my web browsers and error messages/loading issues even though my internet connection was fine. I was referred to Tech Service 2u through a friend and talked with Mark. He was very patient and calm, asked me some background information, and remotely walked me through each download and step to get my connection back up to speed and to fix the issue with the resolve proxy/resolve host errors I was receiving. I've been to a few squad type services with other issues where I felt rushed, so I was grateful that Mark was so patient and talked me through the issues. more

Tech Service 2U is now the third computer repair company I have worked with in Las Vegas. I was never very happy with the service I received from the prior computer repair specialist so I gave Tech Service 2U a try. We now use them as our tech support as well. I don't post reviews much and all we talk about is the bad so I have to write about Tech Service 2U. They came out to my business to work on some basic computer repairs and to help set up network printers etc...We just received a call from them to make sure we were up and running with no issues. Was having problems with my wireless router. Called for an appointment. They were out that same day. Tech Mark had my router up and running in no time. Had to call them back because then my wireless printer wasn't working. Tech Mark then got on the phone and remotely fixed that problem for me. Would I use them again, yes in a heart beat.
