I had a wonderful cut (including a lovely head and shoulder massage) from Jen on Wed. The cut is perfect, very easy to style both straight or with my natural curls. This was my first visit to Aveda for a hair cut but I most certainly will be back. I appreciate when a stylist can create a look that is perfect for both curly and straight, often I get a style that only works well for one or the other. more

When I planned on going to Tangerine Aveda, I expected nothing but the best. Due to their, well, high prices. When I called and booked my appointment I spoke to a gentleman of perhaps around 25. He was professional and polite. He even suggested that I get my massage first then my facial. I didn't take his advice, though after, I wished I would have. When I arrived, the woman at the counter offered me a drink, I asked for a water which she never even attempted to go get. She seemed preoccupied with whatever she was doing on her computer. I mentally gave her one star on her preformace. Or lack thereof. Then I met Tara. Sweet, humble, and hands down THE best facial I have ever had. It/she was perfect. Then to a massage with Amanda that was equally amazing and professional. She did talk the entire time, which I don't like. The massage though, was amazing. 5 stars for Tara, 4 for Amanda. Then when I was leaving, that Preoccupied hostess? Was all- the- sudden all over me. Did I want to leave tips? Did I want to buy product? I should refer my friends... Etc. If it weren't for her it would have easily been a 5 star experience. For a hundred dollers an hour, I think they can afford to hire someone that actually acts like they care about more then your money. more

It was an amazing experience at Aveda. I was started off by a shampoo and a scalp massage followed by a hand massage with an amazing Aveda hand lotion. The stylist - Alexa is a good listener and really put an effort into what kind of style I wanted. Not only that, she offered feedback and ideas. Overall, 5 stars for Alexa. She will definitely be seeing me again in about 8 weeks... =) more
