Best

Nice, small busy and cosy spot. Food is great. Wine is good. Open kitchen. Good place to eat dinner.

Worst

I dined at Table 6 once during Denver Restaurant Week. A three course fixed price menu was set at $52.80 for two, which certainly lowers the average price per guest. We didnt orde...

Blew me away 5/21/2006

Amazing wine list - no KJ here! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was innovative and fun. I'm planning on being a regular! Pros: Cute space, Great prices Cons: A bit warm more

Turtle 6 5/13/2006

We waited an hour to be seated. During our wait, we were asked if we desired anything. We asked to see the menu, which the host forgot even though the menus we literally two steps from us. Upon being seated, we ordered immediately. It took an hour before our entrees appeared on the table. Because of the long wait and the crowd, we were hoping the food would be exceptional or at least good enough to be worth our total wait of now two hours. But alas, the food was very mediocre. The white fish was overcooked and served in a broth that tasted like Campbell's minestrone soup. The chicken dish was under-portioned. We left still hungry. The setting is very, very noise. We had to yell across to one another. We will never be returning. more

Great Place 3/23/2006

Our group has been to Table 6 twice and have had great food and service each time. Love the non-smoking in the restaurant. Pros: Food, Service Cons: Parking more

If only the building was nice... 12/16/2005

Food, very good. Wine selection, very good. Dessert, super yum. Service was AWESOME. But here's the deal... the building SUCKS! Space heaters in use because the place doesn't warm up well, and there are constant freezing drafts. I commend the folks running the place... they do their best to compensate for the crappy space they are stuck with. One thing they could work on... You can smell the gross dishwashing stench when you go to use the bathrooms or use their party room. Overall, a very good experience, but I probably won't go back when it's cold outside. Pros: service, food, stylish Cons: room temperature, space is bad more

America needs one of these in every neighborhood 11/22/2005

What a feel! I walked in and felt like I was somewhere. I love the way it feels rustic with the little polished edges. And the food! A restaurant with such style, food and service...are we in Denver? I hope we are evolving towards this type of dining. This city needs more intelligent, casual dining with a sense of it's self. I'm in love! Pros: parking, thoughtful, wine list Cons: sound more

One of Denver's Best By Far 10/17/2005

Table 6 is one of my favorite restaurants and is definately one of the best you'll find in Denver. The food is exquisite and is brilliantly paired with an extensive wine list that is very eclectic in both grape varietals and wine regions. Table 6 got to host one of the greatest wine makers ever, Mr. Domenico Clerico, in his first ever visit to the U.S.A. and I don't think there is anywhere that deserved his presence more than Table 6. Table 6 is always worth going to. Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere Cons: Parking more

One of My Favorites 10/13/2005

I have dined at Table 6 twice and I enjoyed it immensely both times. The waitstaff is very courteous and knowledgeable. The food contains unexpected combinations that end up working very well together. The wine list is inspired with wines from all over the world, each compliments one or more of the dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed but it can get hectic and really loud at times. Overall my experiences at Table 6 are my favorite dining experiences. Pros: Food , Service , Atmosphere Cons: Parking , Noise more

Unfortunate 9/18/2005

It was a very slow Tuesday night. We were promptly greeted. seated and then given menus and water. After about ten minutes of waiting, I did what everyone does-I started glancing around the restaurant, looking for our server. The waitstaff observed me doing this and made eye contact, but they did nothing. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting there for 20 minutes with no service on what is most likely their slowest night of the week. Also, I am not one of those impatient types who says it was 20 minutes when it's more like 5. As we were leaving, one of the waitstaff, whom I had made eye contact with during my search for our server, thanked us for coming in-knowing that we hadn't been served! I would have liked to try some of the fabulous food from their menu, but I didn't get the chance. Pros: Great location, atmosphere Cons: Service, Waitstaff more

oh yeah! 9/6/2005

Table 6 is just what I have been looking for. Ambiance was fun, the food was excellent and the wine list has unique affordable wine from all over the world. The service was prompt and freindly. I cant wait to go back. Pros: Wine List, Food, Service more

Denver's Best! 9/3/2005

Love, love, love Table 6 -- everything about it. The staff is amazingly knowledgeable and attentive -- JJ, Caroline, Courtney, Holly ... they're all fantastic, and each add to the experience. Aaron has crafted a menu that is interesting, delicious, and creative, and dining at his restaurant is never anything less than a special treat. (The lamb is particularly 'to-die-for.') Without a doubt, T6 is my favorite dining spot in Denver. more

Love it, love it, love it 8/24/2005

Have been a guest at Table Six on four different occations & always have a wonderful experience. Especially love their wine list! The staff has always treated us like royalty and the flavors of the food are enhanced by the somonier's recommendations. Not bothered by the noise in the restaurant because the urban atmosphere is so fun. more

The second chance for Table 6 was fantastic! 8/23/2005

A few years ago we went to Table 6 because my sister recommended it. We found the service to be good but the food was a little above average. \r \r But we went again this past week and what an great dinner! The philly sliders were fun and delicious...the french onion soup was really different because of the chesse they used...the king crab pasta was super-- the fresh tarragon was light and the dish really highlighted the sweetness of the crab... \r \r Everything was wonderful and we plan to go back in a few months! more

Dinner for 6 at Table 6. 8/6/2005

This small urban dining room seems to have figured out their service issues because our party of six was treated very well. The limited menu is well imagined and provides a playground for culinary exploration. Many wines are offered by the glass and the wine list is generally reasonably priced. We started with the corn soup (simply amazing) and the rock shrimp springrolls (very good). For our entrees we tried the pork loin (good), the roasted lamb over grits (very good). The steak was also excellent. For dessert we tried the chocolate-filled begniets and the apple brown betty. The begniets were the better choice. Table 6 only takes reservations for parties of 6 or more but there seemed to be tables available for walk-ins last Friday night. Cons: Parking more

Our Favorite Spot! 8/3/2005

Table Six is on our ""Top 3"" list of restaurants that we cannot resist every month! The atmosphere is bustling and the small size perfect. Our last dinner experience there in June, was perhaps the perfect meal. I am still salivating over the pear & goat cheese salad, white asparagus with truffle oil and rocky chicken. We barely saved room for the beignets and house made sorbets! The wine list is a treat as well! The staff is professional and extremely well educated on the menu. We love that after a few visits, the chef actually recognizes us, and walks over to our table to say hello! The manager is a favorite as well! He always makes us feel welcome as soon as we enter, finding us a few seats in the bar area and offering us a starting drink. This is the place! Pros: Cuisine, Service, Atmosphere Cons: Too popular, Sometimes crowded more

abysmal 7/15/2005

Waitress was completely disinterested and had to be prompted to recite the specials. The food was some of the worst we've had in Denver - just terrible and we made a point to order a variety of entrees just to be sure. Every single one was over priced and terrible. Cannot understand how the food could be this bad from start to finish yet charging New York prices. Cons: food, service more

Poor service 7/14/2005

The waitress was completely disinterested. She took our order, rushed us through the appetizer because she had ordered our entree's too early. I could see the entrees sitting in the kitchen. Entrees were short of being tasteless. Would never recommend. Pros: location, decor Cons: bad service, awful food more

disappointing! 6/13/2005

We arrived at 7:30. The noise is deafening & really unpleasant! The crowd is full of rich men & trophy wives. We finally got a table at 8:30, and the server took her time getting to our table. When she did, she seemed disinterested & even resentful. Half an hour later, our appetizers came, which were about average & certainly not worth the price. AN HOUR later, our entrees came. The food is good but not worth the time, money, or complete misery of eating at this restaurant. Avoid at all costs! Pros: decent food Cons: noise, bad service, price more

Unimpressive. Who does their PR? 2/28/2005

I dined at Table 6 once during Denver Restaurant Week. A three course fixed price menu was set at $52.80 for two, which certainly lowers the average price per guest. We didnt order drinks. The wait staff apparently assumed we were cheap unfortunately it showed in the service. And the food on the fixed price menu? Mediocre. Praised by national and local critics, I was excited to see what the new restaurant was about. Maybe the restaurant lowered its standards to match the lower prices. Overall, the results of Table 6 publicity machine are what impressed me most. I should probably give the regular menu a chance, but Ill only do so if someone else suggests the place. Cons: Service more

Treat Yourself 1/16/2005

What a true culinary treat! I've dined at T6 on 3 occasions - July, Sept and Jan and the food and service has been fabulous each time. The flank steak was my favorite, the short ribs melt in your mouth and the lamb is perfect M-R. Lamb sausage & gravy and the pecan/spinach/tomato risotto is superb. The beignets are my favorite dessert. It is fun to be able to watch the chefs create their unique food combinations. Advice - if you don't come early, plan on having a few glasses of wine before you get seated. Pros: Food, Desserts, Servers Cons: , Wait more

Good food, but... 1/2/2005

Have dined at Table 6 in Nov & Dec '04. The food is quite good, but... On both occasions, the service was truly abyssmal. The servers bus their own tables, which slows things down to a snail's pace. The first visit was a 3 hour ordealThe open kitchen means you leave smelling like cooking oil/smoke and the small space is quite crowded/ noisy. Plus on my second visit, there was a $36 mistake on the bill. Perhaps all the success and fanfare has gone to their heads? Pros: food, sommelier, reservations Cons: , very noisy more
