This small urban dining room seems to have figured out their service issues because our party of six was treated very well. The limited menu is well imagined and provides a playground for culinary exploration. Many wines are offered by the glass and the wine list is generally reasonably priced. We started with the corn soup (simply amazing) and the rock shrimp springrolls (very good). For our entrees we tried the pork loin (good), the roasted lamb over grits (very good). The steak was also excellent. For dessert we tried the chocolate-filled begniets and the apple brown betty. The begniets were the better choice. Table 6 only takes reservations for parties of 6 or more but there seemed to be tables available for walk-ins last Friday night.
