Best

I have been eating at Sushi Thai for over 10 years now. I have also eaten sushi all over the Triangle, as well as the world. The quality of food/service is as good now, as day one...

Worst

The food is good, the service is ok, the prices are high and your kids are NOT welcome here! Cons: Not kid friendly, overpriced, staff not friendly

great service and tasty food 7/9/2005

while this may not be a "high class" sushi restaurant the sushi is excellent with good variety and the other thai and japanese food is tasty as well. Service is always prompt and friendly. It can be difficult to get a seat at the sushi bar on the weekends, which mean something must be going right. Pros: sushi roll variety, service, taste Cons: can be crowded more

Great Sushi! 5/22/2005

My wife and I eat sushi a lot (a LOT!) and we've come to enjoy Sushi-Thai so much that we hardly ever go anywhere else for sushi anymore. We've introduced many of our friends to Sushi-Thai as well and they love it, too. Now we all meet and enjoy sushi together on a regular basis at Sushi-Thai. We love the atmosphere, the food, and the great service we receive from the sushi chefs and the rest of the staff. Thanks to all of you at Sushi-Thai for helping to make this our favorite sushi spot! Pros: Sushi, Service, Atmosphere more

I'd eat there every meal if I could 5/20/2005

I was hesitant about this place at first, figuring it unlikely that they could be any good at BOTH sushi and Thai food, but man was I wrong. Our very favorite place. more

These guys are the best! 5/16/2005

We visit a lot of sushi (and Thai) places all over the country (and have been to Thailand & Japan) and Sushi Thai is consistently one of the best we've ever been to. For sushi, good portion sizes (no big rice ball and small fish piece), always fresh and the service is fantastic. A great, friendly place to eat at either the bar or a table. THe selection of sushi is broad, from the basic to the more adventurous, and what's nice is our non-sushi eating friends have a ton of Japanese and Thai entrees to choose from so we can all eat out together. We love this place, and we've been to all the other spots in the triangle area, we drive 25 miles to eat here several times a month at least. Great food! Great people & service! (and no, we're not relatives of the owners/chefs. etc!) Pros: good portions, fresh fish, great service more

BOOM!! GREAT FOOD, FRIENDLY STAFF 5/12/2005

Recently I moved to my home in Southern-Wake County and much to my surprise I discovered what I couldnt find in D.C., Florida or Atlanta. What is it you may ask? Its Sushi-Thai! They have the freshest sushi I have ever eaten. The Lobster Bomb has to be the neatest and greatest sushi dish on the planet. The sushi chefs are so knowledgeable and fun to talk to. There is always a good story being told at the sushi bar. We knew we found a great place from the second we walked in the door and were greeted by 5 people. Until the last second you leave when the same people ask how was everything and thanks for coming! We love the Raleigh area so far and one of the main reasons has been SUSHI-THAI in Cary! Try it out, you dont know what your missing! Pros: food quality, great/friendly staff, huge menu more

Sushi Thai in Cary superb 4/27/2005

Just when you thought all of the good sushi and or thai restaurants were in Raleigh think again. Several close friends and family members went there for my brithday recently. Not only was the food great but the service was by far the best of any restaurant of many I have dined at in the area. The entreés are well portioned and the food is the finest one could phathom. I highly recommend you experience Sushi Thai in Cary. Pros: great food, great price, excellent atomsphere more

Addictive 2/21/2005

If you like Sushi this is a must try. They have the best quality food by far and big portions. We have tried several places and nothing can compare. It has become a weekly obsession. Not only is every bite delicious but the presentation is always beautiful. They are truly creative. I recommend sitting at the bar because the chefs are great to chat with and will treat you right. They will definitely make a repeater out of you. Pros: Big Portions, Fresh, Atmosphere Cons: Becomes Addictive more

Quality sushi, quality service.. 1/31/2005

I have been going to sushi thai in cary for close to 5 years now, and everytime I get the pad thai it is second to none. The waiters are fast and friendly, and the thick cut sushi is always fresh. Try it out. Pros: thicker cut sushi, best pad thai Cons: busy more

Bad Service 1/6/2005

The wait staff made many mistakes and did not apologize for any of them. They messed up my food order and then they asked me if I could eat it. One of my friend order was completely missing, so he started to eat when the rest of us was almost finish with the meal. Everyone at the table was very dissapointed with the service and agreed that the Sushi Thai in Raleigh provides a better service. Since we were a big party, the gratuity was included, which could be a reason why they didn't provide a good service. Pros: Food more

Great Sushi!!! 9/5/2004

Only one word can describe Sushi-Thai: Pros: sushi, service, presentation more

Pros: friendly staff, food(taste/quality), atmosphere more

Average Fare 7/7/2004

As far as Thai food goes this is quite an average establishment. The two times I've been, the noodles have been overcooked, and the meats been a bit over done. The Sushi is decent but I had to send some of my pieces back because the fish smelled 'fishy'. Which correlates to older fish. Pros: Atmosphere, Location, Parking more

Best Sushi and Thai in North Carolina! 6/6/2004

Sam and Nita and the entire Sushi Thai team have become like family to me. I eat there 3-5 times per week and can not say enough good. The food is fresh and the service excellent! I especially like the Kanisu, sashimi, spicy tuna, yaki soba, pad Thai, beef fried rice, jumping shrimp, tigers tear salad, calimari, spring rolls, beef tataki and soups. For dessert, I recommend their homemade coconut ice cream. This is a must in Cary! Can not say enough good about Sushi Thai. more

I personnally recommend the tiger's tear, jumping shrimp, thai coconut lemongrass soup, pad thai, yaki soba, spring rolls, kanisu and for dessert...the homemade coconut icecream.
