Summit Heating & Air Conditioning

The guy who came by from Summit Heating & Air Conditioning was great. I was recommended to them by my home warranty company, but it turned out they didn't cover the type of work I needed. So I paid for it myself, though I should have just called Summit directly. The technician found the problem with my humidifier: its filter hadn't been cleaned and that created a leak. He showed me what needed to be done. He was knowledgeable and gave me a couple different inexpensive solutions to get around the problem or fix it on my own. To have had it fully repaired would have been out of my ballpark, but they were very helpful and didn't take advantage of me even though I don't know jack about HVAC systems. more

Shawn was very helpful and professional. Serviced our heater a couple of times and he's one of the "good guys". We trust him and Summit Heating as well. Not something that comes easy these days. It's nice to know you have a service company that is honest, reliable and is available in a timely manner. more

Shawn was friendly prompt, the service call was made on a Wends, they were here (right on time) Thursday morning. This was not an emergency service call although they treated it as if it was. We had heat and hot water, it was just a part of the hot water heater making a noise. Other places tried to see us a new hot water heater instead of fixing our existing one. Summit did give us the option to do either, but Summits' prices were far better than their competition. would recommend Summit to family and friends! more

I have two young daughters and one was sick. I called Summit and they showed up a hour later on a Sunday! Unbelievable! They squared away the issue and now I don't have to worry. The best part is they didn't even know my daughter was sick. That's just how they work! Summit is great! more

I was lucky to find Summit through NATE when the compressor our heat pump died suddenly less than 6 years after it was installed. Summit hasn't yet done any work, but Summit has been exceptional in every way so far. They are clearly customer focused and doing the right thing in every aspect of their business. I've been extremely impressed with their technical knowledge and obvious attention to detail and quality of customer service. Everyone at Summit has been extremely responsive and helpful. I contacted at least a half dozen contrators online on Saturday and Summit was one of three to respond at all over the weekend and Dwayne actually called on Sunday. After a lengthy discussion of the options for repair or replacement on the phone, Dwayne came to our house on Monday and made a thorough assessment of the existing equipment. He treated my wife with respect and of the 5 contractors that came to bid, he provided by the most complete and comprehensive quote. It was also very competitive on price and clearly every effort was made to provide the highest quality solution at the lowest possible cost to us. I learned years ago that quality of work and quality of service is paramount when it comes to hiring any contrator. I did a huge amount of research online and asked a lot of questions while deciding what to do and who to go with when it came to this project. From that I learned that the quality of the installation is the most important part of any HVAC installation. It doesn't matter how good the equipment is if the installation is shoddy. I'm sure I'll have more good things to say once the work is finished. more

Summit arrived within an hour of my call for service on one of the hottest days of the year. They also were able to get my ac unit up and running in less then an hour. The bill was reasonable and much less then I assumed it would be or then previous bills from other HVAC companies. My family and I are grateful for the quick response on an unbearable day. I would recommend Summit to anyone who needs heating or ac service or repair. more

We had our HVAC units freeze up on the Friday before Memorial day. Both needed a recharge and some TLC. The owner came over on his day off during the holiday weekend and within an hour had us back in business. Definitely pleased with the service, the rates and especially the flexibility. I was new to town and had recently purchased a home in Middleton. I had the propane technician come out to check out everything and somehow he shorted out the circuitry and smoked out the entire water heater. I was going through a tough time personally, I had just moved there and knew no one, plus my father had just passed away, and this just added to that stress. I went online and found Summit Heating & Air Conditioning. I found their website to be very informative and easy to use. I called them up and explained my issue and set up a time for them to come by. My schedule was all messed up and I couldn't be there when they came by, so I left my door unlocked for them. They did all they could do, but it turned out that the entire water heater had to be replaced. During an especially difficult time, when I knew nobody in town, Summit Heating really came through for me and went over and beyond the call of duty. They treated me like an old friend and I really appreciated that. Plus, they were able to find the problem and fix it for me. This is a highly knowledgeable, solid and professional company. Summit Heating & Air Conditioning was very pleasant when doing work for us. We had our furnace replaced with an upgrade and an air conditioning system put in. They were willing to stop and answer any questions we thought of while they were working. They were also willing to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it in a certain way. We haven't had the AC on yet, but the heater is absolutely great. It is actually better than I thought it would be, and I am very pleased with it. Summit Heating really is more than willing to explain everything, even if it was already explained once. Putting in a furnace is not something you can stop right away to answer questions, but they did just that. They were very cooperative and cleaned up after themselves. It was a very pleasant experience, and I wish we had done it sooner. more
