The draft motor failed this morning on my gas furnace. I live in Middletown so I called Summit because they are a local business. I knew what had failed (99% sure) and they agreed to pick up the motor on their way for the service call. Shaun arrived on time (actually earlier than promised) and quickly made the repair. Friendly, professional and on-time. They have earned my business moving forward. more

Summit was the only company that was willing to come promptly when our heat stopped working! Shaun was prompt, courteous and professional! He got our unit working again in no time. I liked them so much that I have purchased a maintenance agreement with them! more

From the very start, I have found Dwayne to be upfront, honest and very qualified. He and Shawn have always been courteous, helpful, on time, and knowledgeable. Compared to a big HVAC company I used to use, I value Summit HVAC much, much more! They are not nearly as expensive either! more

Installation of Heat Pump 12/23/2013

Installation of the new heat pump was done very professionally and efficiently. Shaun and the other tecnician were very knowledgeable and good. Would recommend Summit to other folks for their HVAC needs. more

Could not honestly recommend the whole company 10/30/2013

I've had them before and there was a big difference between the two individuals that came. Sean would get a five but I can't recommend this company as a whole based off the experience before Sean. The first visit, he was a little pushy in the service he gave and I didn't appreciate that. He also didn't really explain anything to me. Two days ago, Sean, different guy, was very courteous, very professional which I really like and the best part is that he was informative. World of difference between the two people. more

satisfied customer 10/5/2013

I recently had a new Bryant HVAC system installed in my home. I had a rather complicated install because I was converting from oil heat to natural gas. When I first spoke with Dwayne at Summit he assured me that he would co-ordinate everything ( I had to have several inspections,my old oil tank properly disposed of,etc.) and he delivered as promised. All I had to do was be available to let the service people into my home. The installers answered all of my questions, were nice guys and always on time. So far my new system is working great. I have noticed a more consistant temperature throughout my home and am much more comfortable than before. I am very satisfied with my new system and with Summit Heating and Air Conditioning. more

Positive Experience 4/9/2013

Summit Heating & Air Conditioning provided great service. I wish they were with the warranty we had when we bought the house, because the original company is pathetic now that I know how many things were not done properly or never fixed. In contrast to the warranty company, Summit Heating & Air was thorough, detailed, and friendly. more

Great service!!!! 2/2/2013

Our heat stopped working on a cold Saturday and after waiting 2 hours to hear back from another company, having one company tell us they were to far away today and we should call someone else, we called Summit and the guy told us he would be here in an hour. He got here in about 30 minutes and had the heat back on in less than 10 minutes. Then he answered lots of questions we had. Most impressively an emergency call on a Saturday night was cheaper than when we have had another company out during work hours! We will definitely use Summit again!!!! And recommend them to friends!!! more

Summit Heating & AC is what good service is all about 11/13/2012

I have used other heating companies in the past but today I experienced what good service is all about. Shaun performed preventative maintenance on my heat pump and he was knowledgeable and responsive. He provided technical information about my unit (I asked) and he answered all of my questions. He was courteous and polite with an earnest disposition and a sincere interest in his work. All work was accomplished with the highest degree of integrity. I would definitely recommend using Summit Heating and AC as I intend on using them next spring and requesting Shaun. more

Overall good work at a good value. 8/15/2012

We used Summit Heating & Air Conditioning because we had to replace an air conditioning unit on an outside unit and inside vental unit. It was nice to have the owner of the company come out. Shawn spent time to review and go over what needed to be done. He had the job done quick and for a fair price. more

Summit Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new heat pump system in my house. They did an excellent job. In fact, I called them back because I liked them and asked them to replace the generator. It's now on order and they'll be installing it tomorrow. more

Accommodating service 6/1/2012

They installed a new A/C system. This was our first experience with something like that and everything went just fine. I was familiar with the company to start with, and when I called them on the phone they were very accommodating with our situation. They took an old unit out and put a bigger unit in, which they don't customarily do but we are an elderly couple. The work was much appreciated. more
