stopped by stk this weekend and had a fabulous time. my friends and i really enjoyed the food.. i had the short ribs which was to die for. it melted in your mouth. before that i had the beet salad which was really refreshing and great. I had their eggnog cocktail which was out of this world. I'll definitely come back to try everything on the menu!!!! more

You can't go wrong with STK. From their staff, food, to atmosphere, everything is on point. I've been to STK a few times and have had the filet everytime. Its always satisfies. The short ribs are also very good. I had a couple of non meat eaters with me on my last visit and tried their tuna and hamachi which was also great even though its not necessarily their specialty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and delightful service. I will continue to be a regular at STK after another great experience! Pros: food, staff more

I came here to celebrate my birthday this past week at STK with my closest friends and had one of the best birthdays ever! We had made reservations weeks in advance for our large party (I heard it is impossible at times to get a big party in) and by the time we arrived I was starving. Our waitress was one of the best I've ever had. She was extremely attentive, explained everything we asked, and beautiful on top of it all. I ordered the kobe filet and we all shared the sides amongst ourselves. We ordered the asparagus, creamed corn, truffle fries, creamed spinach, mac n cheese, and broccoli. All the sides were amazing and the kobe filet was unbelievable! The drinks were great and we had a blast...thanks to the guys/gals at this fine establishment more

This place is great!!!!!!!! I went to STK for the first time with a few friends and it was the best steak I've ever had! It was cooked perfectly and tasted like heaven. We also really enjoyed the beef short rib and snapper for the non meat eaters. I was completely satisfied before dessert but couldn't resist the site of the rocky road sundae. After I took one bite, I was instantly hooked! Not only was the food delicious but the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Everything our waiter recommended was amazing! This was enough to keep me coming back for more but aside from that, the ambience tops off the experience. The decor was not only pleasing to the eyes but the attactive crowd added to some interesting eye candy. It doesn't get better than this!!! What a great place! I came with a few friends we had drinks in the bar before and after dinner, met some great people, the DJ played enjoyable music ( Thursday Night) ! \r \r Food and service were superb, beyond my expectations for such a new restaurant! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, food was delicious, great scene, a good night out.\r will definetly be back again. more

I came to this place not expecting much. I figured it was just another trendy restaurant in LA, serving mediocre food. Boy was I wrong. It is not my favorite steak house, but would say it is my #3 in LA. Plenty of people watching here. Both times I went the paparrazi was there. more

We dined at STK this saturday. The place was absolutely packed, but service was impecable!!! Normally in these trendy LA restaurants the ambiance is great but the service is lacking.... the food was excellent, the service was fantastic and the drinks were great... not to mention the scenery....\r \r WE'LL BE BACK more

I came to STK to meet-up with some friends for drinks after a long, arduous day of work. They had ordered some food, but I came for drinks a to unwind from an awful day. My friends on the other hand got food and some sides. The food looked amazing and I wanted to steal some bits. Instead, I shared some of the appetizers and sides they ordered...wow. The one thing I really loved were the truffle fries coated in parmesan cheese(!). As far as the drinks go I was enjoying myself thoroughly. I ordered a drink called the ""La Cienega"" and had a few vodka/tonics to ease everything. For the sides alone I would come back, unfortunately I did not have any of the entrees, but will make my way back for those another day. Pros: drinks, fries Cons: nothing more

I was visiting L.A. and my really good friend recommended this restaurant since he frequents it often. I was not really in the mood for a steak dinner, but figured he was the Angeleno and I'll just follow his lead. I did not know what to expect, but figured it was definitely going to be trendy especially with all the surrounding scenery we were passing. I might as well have the LA experience, right? I consider myself a foodie and love trying out new restaurants, food, etc. The minute we walked in I felt like I was in New York. The decor here is amazing, beautifully done, and simple-sophisticated. The waitstaff was very accommodating and I felt welcome from the moment I stepped in the door. \r \r We were sat within 10min. of our reservation time, which gave me time to get a little buzz going before the meal. The drinks were nice, just the perfect ratio of alcohol to mixers. Their winelist is pretty extensive as well...ranging from $40-$500+ a bottle. Once sat, we browsed through the menu and everything looked delicious. The smells from the kitchen were intense and I just wanted to go back there and eat everything. Surprisingly, they have way more than just beautiful cuts of steak at the restaurant. I'm sure most people think that when they see the name STK. I was tempted to order some lobster or one of their fish dishes, but settled for a nice bone-in ribeye (recommended by my friend). The sides menu has a great selection as well, can't remember all off the top of my head though. \r \r The food was simply put, delicious. I added some foie gras butter to my steak(heart attack?!) and I did not stop until I was done with everything. The value here is great, especially for what you pay for. We ended the night with a peanut butter cup dessert and I was full, fat and happy. I will definitely come back to STK whenever I am in LA. more

I went to dinner with my girlfriend for a very special evening, our first time at STK. We went on a Friday last week and had a great experience. The food was amazing, as I ordered a Kobe Filet, recommended by my great server. The bartenders have done a great job with the drink menu and I would come back for the cocktails myself. My girlfriend on the other hand, what she really liked was the fact that they had smaller cuts of steak. Usually when we go to a steakhouse, they have fairly large portions...something only a lion could finish off. The sides were wonderful as well. We had asparagus and creamed corn..man oh man were they good. \r \r Consensus: Great restaurant and I will be back soon! Pros: great cuts of meat, sides more

The place is beautiful and so were the people. This is not why I went to the restaurant though...I went to try the Truffle Fries and Filet that I have heard so much about. THEY WERE AMAZING. My server, Chad..I think was his name, was great, the sweet corn pudding was to die for, and they have some cocktails that I will be back for, even though I am usually all about the food. more

I've been to STK numerous times and I can say without a doubt it is one of the best restaurants in LA! They really have the service, food, and vibe down to perfection. I can't visit this place without ordering the usual filet and sweet corn pudding, its irresitible! The tasty sides have me addicted!!! I have friends who visit LA often and know this will be a guaranteed great time. The servers are prompt and friendly, always making me feel welcome. Most restaurants that have a trendy vibe like STK lack in the service or food, but STK is always on top of their game. I definitely recommend coming in to experience it for yourselves!! They also have a great cocktail menu for all the drinkers :) Pros: love everything! Cons: yet to find one... more

I came here not really knowing that this was a hot spot. however...I did enjoy my dinner. My steak was exceptional. I also had the sweet corn pudding which was amazing. I can't forget the jumbo lump crab. this was really delicious. to top the night off, we saw kim kardashian. we really enjoyed ourselves at STK. we will definitely be back. more

One of my girlfriends is a regular at STK's bar.. she raves about the cocktails but I think also has a crush on the bartender. Anyway, I finally came in with her but insisted we have a real dinner vs a liquid dinner. The food was fantastic!!!! She had the snapper and I had a filet. I am a very picky steak person but can honestly say this was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The mushrooms were amazing, the truffle fries were fantastic and of course I tried her snapper which was also great. I loved this place. It has a very different feel than most of the restaurants on La Cienega ... it is very inviting and they play cool music.... I will be back for sure. more

I was reluctant to come to STK because I try to stray away from the trendy Hollywood spots, but I was taken here by a friend for a small get-together. My expectations were low and I expected the usual nice decor, but awful food kind of scene here. STK blew me away actually. We came here mid-week and I'm sure it is a little quieter than the weekends, but the vibe here was great. It was a packed house, but not stuffy at all. I had the bone-in ribeye, recommended by my waiter, and my friend had the new york strip. Both cuts of meat were amazing and the sides were just as good. The creamed corn pudding and truffle fries were enough to come back. Overall, the experience was more than I expected and I left the restaurant feeling great. I took two friends visiting from Paris to have drinks in the bar. On our way in, Bruce Jenner was coming out. There was some paparazzi and video cameras rolling. Got my picture taken with Bruce after reminiscing about the University we both attended. The bar was a lot of fun, and there was a really great ""vibe"". You could see that everyone was really having a good time and we were DROOLING over the food that we could see being consumed in the dining room by a very attractive crowd. more

My friends and I had a night out at STK and had a great time. They were visiting LA and I knew this would be a perfect place to bring them. They couldn't stop talking about how great the atmosphere was, and not to mention we couldn't order enough tasty food. The truffle fries are a must try and the beef carpaccio was another one of my favorites! I had the beef short rib as an entree and it was delicous! The sides are amazing so also try the mac and cheese and sweet corn pudding to name a few...\r Besides the great food, the staff is always extremely curteous. I would also come here for the decor and atmosphere... stk really has that on the money. Overall great place!
