I have been hearing about this place forever! My boyfriend & I finally tried it. I think everything about it was over rated. The place is ok looking. the service was slow. th...

LA has beautiful restaurants 5/16/2006

its been a year since i've moved from nyc, and the restaurants in LA are gorgeous~ bridge's decor, ambience and crowd is both fun and beautiful!!! the specialty cocktails are YUMMYYY. i recommend the passion martini, peach mojito, and/or the pomegranate martini - and the wine list is AWESOME. this new restaurant is surely going to bloom into one of the hottest spots - if not already. although the menu is not extravagant yet... its still the beginning. i've gone atleast for 4 dinners with my friends, and they have had a GREAT GREAT TIME. more

Just not good. 5/12/2006

Design wise, it's a cool place. Maybe more to be 'seen' than to enjoy the food as the food was not very good. Made reservation, seated at a nice table. Took quite some time for the sommelier to come over, but he was more attentive than the waiter. The food itself was not good as my entree tasted like it had canned tomato sauce in it. Others at my table were not satified with their food either. I ran into a friend and as she was leaving I asked how she felt about her food and she stated that it was just okay. I hate to knock this place as the decor is on point and the booths are designed nicely, but the food was below average. I can't see this place staying around too long. Koi is much better!!! more

Don't cross this bridge 5/9/2006

The space is nice, but overall this is not a great dining experience. Food was just average, if that. Very salty and bland. Not one of the dishes ""stood out"" from any other average restaurant in LA. This restaurant is owned by the same group that owns Koi, so the crowd will come. Most will not eat though, so the experience might be fun. Food is way overpriced. Save your money and go to Il Sole on Sunset is a better restaurant and more cozy. Valet cost $7.00 and I can't imagine why, when there is a garage right below the restaurant. How do you explain $7.00 for a valet to move a car 50 feet? Wow. Pros: Design Cons: Cost, Bad Food, Too much attitude more

My new favorite Italian Restaurant 5/4/2006

I had the swordfish, and it was excellent. Everyone else at the table loved their food too. And the extensive wine list.... WOW!!! The whole dining experience was a night to remember. I cant wait to go back. Pros: Celebrities, Food, Drinks more

Another overrated hotspot 5/1/2006

Dined there the first week it opened! The atmosphere is stuffy. Decor above average, but the food was nothing to write home about! O.K. for drinks, but better choices for a fun evening! more

Bridge no good 4/23/2006

We were there the first weekend it opened. Food is OK, nothing special - trully nothing special. Every objective componenet of the service was beyond bad, even with both owners (Haque brothers) in obvious attendance at the restaurant. Ambiance somewhat average. This place is a clear contrast with Koi, where the food is fantastic, service is decent, and the overall experience desirable. I believe the combination of average food and below average service earns this place a rating closer to 6.0. Pros: Location Cons: Service, Food more

Wonderful ambience 4/17/2006

I love the decoration, it is modern and comforting. The food was great and the service was excellent . First class, try it. more
