I took my engagement ring and wedding band into Steve Quick Jeweler's to have it updated and redone. I was amazed by the level of service, Dana was exceptional in explaining different options and price points. By the time I left my ring with them I felt completely comfortable with my decision. They definitely under promise and over deliver - my ring was done earlier than had expected and was absolutely AMAZING. All of this at a very affordable price. She patiently helped us design a custom engagement ring and wedding bands & has been such a great help with subsequent purchases. The entire store staff is so welcoming and helpful, we have never felt any pressure and it is a joy to browse through their beautiful selection of jewelry, rings, watches and pearls. I can say with the confidence of experience that SteveQuick Jewellers stick to their word and stand by their products. This review is a testimony to their service and good will and particularly to Sarah B whose dedication and consideration of the client was unfailing. I have never been moved to write a review before, but I felt that it was important in this instance to give Sarah B and the management team their due credit. My fiance and I agreed to the purchase of a custom made diamond engagement ring and wedding band. Ultimately we only bought the band and not the engagement ring. But I hasten to add, throughout this period they remained courteous, patient and did what they could to find us a product we would be happy with, at a price we were comfortable paying. We left with a fair deal on the band and the knowledge that we can happily recommend their products and services to anyone else in the future. Steve Quick is very knowledgable and takes the time to explain things to you about items. He and his staff are very welcoming and ready to show you different items and help you make decisions. I felt no pressure, only patience and information that helped me select my wedding ring. We even got my husband's wedding ring there as well since they did such a good job. I have been a Steve Quick customer for many years. My wife and I recently had our first child, and I scoured the Internet for the perfect ""push present."" I fell in love with a ring I saw online and then went to Steve Quick and asked if they could make it for me. The jumped at the chance, included me in the design process, and made the ring for me quickly, perfectly ... and for two-thirds of the price advertised online! And, just as importantly, the people at Steve Quick are amazing. I've had the pleasure of meeting Steve several times and working with Beth and Patti. I have been a customer of Steve Quick Jewelry since they were across the street over 17 years ago. I have bought many in stock items and also worked with them to design items for me from stones in my old jewelry. I can?t say enough good things about Patty Frey, the store manager, who I worked with to design my anniversary ring, reset my original engagement diamond into a necklace and rework my 15-year-old diamond tennis bracelet into a vintage-look piece. Designing my anniversary ring, which included a substantial stone increase and a hand engraved platinum setting, took a lot of work. Patty made this project a priority and helped me design a one of a kind ring that can?t be found in every bridal magazine. She has wonderful ideas and endless patience. All of the people at Steve Quick Jewelers are great, especially Dana O'Sullivan. My wife and I have been going there for almost three years and have bought numerous pieces including my wife's engagement ring and our wedding bands. My wife constantly gets positive comments about her jewelry, most of which Dana helped her pick out. The service is great. The sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful, and most importantly they are not pushy like a lot of the vendors on jewelery row. I would not even think of going anywhere else and neither should you. As an added bonus, if you go on Sunday's there are cookies from Bittersweet! I bought an engagement ring from Steve Quick a few weeks before the holidays. I had been dragging my feet on going ring shopping... Not becuase I hadn't found the right girl, becuase I hadn't found the right jewlery store. We went to check out rings based on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. Kalena helped me out along the way to finding the perfect ring for my fiance. I did not, in any way, feel pressured into a certain style, settting or diamond. I felt comfortable about asking tons of questions (sometimes more than once) and setting up multiple appointments. Kalena made one of the most important purchases of my life pretty easy and surprisingly fun. In the end I got the ring that I wanted for the price that I was looking to pay, can't ask for much more than that! more

My fiance and I recently got engaged. For years I had seen Steve Quick's from the window of the #36 bus. I was always so taken with the sparkles in the window. As my boyfriend (at the time) and I were considering how to move forward, I knew that I had to go to SQ first. I met with Kalena, one of their fantastic Sales Assistants, and off we went. She was truly remarkable...absolutely the best customer service. She worked with us trying ring after ring after ring. She even tracked down a sample ring that was no longer made and got the company to send to us on loan for much longer than normal! After all of that, we decided to design our own rings based on a merging of all the things we had seen. Kalena walked us thru every step. I honestly felt like she really understood our taste, our ideas, and certainly our budget. After we got the first wax, she knew due to some of my specs that it wasnt exactly right. So, she sent it back...the wax was redone and it was PERFECT!!! more

After being harassed out the door and told what I wanted by many other jewelry store employees; I went to Steve Quick. Upon my entry, I felt a comfort and generosity that I did not feel in the other stores and I was quickly spoiled by the 5 star service and quality of the diamonds and jewelry. Never once did I feel pressured, but always a genuine care for my satisfaction. I knew this was a store I could trust to custom design my engagement ring. This was a project that was a complete surprise to my girlfriend and I had been giving no suggestions as to what she wanted or likes. Coming in with a picture and a headfull of ideas, the helpful staff at Steve Quick made my dream a reality. The ring came back 10x more beautiful than the computer design. My fiance cried after the proposal stunned by the rings utter beauty and uniqueness. ""It is perfect"" , she said. I always smile when random people in grocery store and on the street approach my fiance to say how beautiful and sparkly her ring is. I will never go to another jewler. I have been shopping at Steve Quick for quite some time. The amazing thing about the place is everything! From the kind and knowledgeable staff to the sparkling pieces that they have for sale. As a guy, I have purchased numerous items of jewelry for my sisters, mom, and girlfriend. Whatever my budget was at the time...someone from the staff was able to help me find something that fit it reasonably without any pressure. I have shopped at other jewelry stores and had some horrendous experiences. I can honestly say, it never happened at Steve Quick. As a matter of fact, just recently I recommended to a friend that he get his engagement ring there. Earlier he had gone somewhere else and felt too pressurized at another jewelry store. He did get it at Steve Quick Jeweler and had nothing but great things to say about his experience. The thing that separates this store from others is the class the people who work there have and the fact that the jewelry can fit any kind of budget. I wish that other stores would step back and observe how this place operates. It's the quality jewelry and honest sales people that make this place great...you definitely feel happy and fulfilled once you have given a gift from Steve Quick Jeweler. what can i say, i have been to steve quick jewelers on a number of occasions. they have a beautiful selection of loose gems/stones, and a fabulous selection of engagement rings, bracelets, pendants, and watches. they have exceptional customer service; i have never felt pressured into buying any piece of jewelry and i have never been pressured to spend more than my budget. i had sqj design my right hand ring and the experience was such a positive one. they were very creative, enthusiastic, and always thinking of ways to make my ring fit my personality. the finished product is breathtaking and i get many compliments on my ring. i'm not saying that i am the expert in jewelry stores but i have gone to tiffany's, graf,cartier,jareds, whitehall,ect. and i have found, in comparison, that sqj has the most unique pieces of jewelry with a quality that can't be beat. the fact that they are willing to work with you to customize your pieces, if you need, makes them that much more unique. more

I can't say enough good things about SQJ and especially Dana who we worked with from beginning to end for m engagement ring and wedding band. She was the one who basically introduced ""diamonds"" and ""engagement rings"" to my husband and I. We knew nothing about it as we started our search. We visited several jewelers in the area and SQJ was by far the most friendly and NOT pushy at all! I fell in love with the radiant cut and they are the only jewelers who carry the branded radiant cut diamond. My engagement ring was purchased in Dec07 - a custom designed radiant cut ring. My husband said they were extremely helpful and worked with his budget and timeline so that he could have it in time to propose. I loved my ring soo much that I went back to have Dana design my wedding band to fit the engagement ring. She worked with us to create the perfect band and made us feel very comfortable everytime we were in there. She is extremely creative and created a perfect set for me. Dana even appraised my husband's wedding band for us even though we didn't end up purchasing the band from them. I am very happy with the service I have recieved from SQJ and would HIGHLY reccommend this jeweler to anyone looking for an engagement ring/wedding band! My husband bought me several pieces from this store over a few year period, including my wedding band for about $700. One of the diamonds fell out of the band and when I took it to be repaired, they asked ""who sold you this?"" ""this ring was not made to be worn every day and if we replace the diamond it will likely fall out again"". When I told them THEY had sold it to us and it was sold as a wedding band, they told me I should buy a new ring altogether and offered no compensation for selling me a bunk ring. They said to make the old ring workable, we'd have to spend $700-$1000 to rebuild it. This was ridiculous and so I just don't wear it anymore. They weren't nice about it either - (snooty) very cut and dry with a ""too bad"" attitude. I went to a competitor and bought a plain gold band to wear instead. SQ obviously didn't value our business - this was surprising to me since they have positioned themselves as wedding ring specialists. Their items are very pretty and we always thought the people there were really nice but would strongly not recommend them since they sold me a wedding band that they said (3 years later) shouldn't be worn every day. more

I can't say enough good things about Steve Quick Jewelers. Their selection of items is the best in the city, and believe me, I went to dozens of jewelers while searching for the perfect wedding bands and wedding day jewelry. I have since returned many times to purchase watches, earings, and additional rings. They even have an amazing collection of estate and vintage jewelry! Their customer service and knowledge is by far the best I have encountered. Dana assisted me with finding the most beautiful and unique wedding/celebration bands that made my ring 'set' both personal, and timeless. I get so many compiments on it! I know that I will be going back to Steve Quick Jewelers again and again. We worked with Beth primarily (she is wonderful), but everyone is extremely friendly. We had multiple appointments to make sure both our rings were exactly what we wanted and they turned out great! My fiance went to many jewelery stores before he found the perfect one....Steve Quick. After he proposed, he told me all about the store and how great Steve Quick and Dana were to work with. He designed my engagement ring and spent many months working with them to make it perfect. The ring is beautiful and we have since been working on designing my wedding band. The staff is incredibly friendly and down to earth and really care to get to know you AND make sure you don't walk out until you are 100% happy.
