Best Boot Camp in Southern California! 2/19/2009

Sonki's workouts really scale well with your fitness level, and he and his trainers know how to push you to do your best! I've been exercising with Sonki for nearly a year and he's gotten me so excited about my fitness potential, that I find myself craving not only my morning fix of Sonki fitness, but exercise at other times of day as well! Pros: Price and value for money, experienced trainers, motivational techniques Cons: Parking can sometimes be a hassle, as it's outdoors in parks. more

i have never been into working out but in may 2008, i signed up for this boot camp to give it a shot. i had tried gyms and personal trainers in the past and couldn't stick to them for more than a few weeks. i've now been doing boot camp for almost a year and i can't get enough. the group atmosphere is really encouraging and so is our instructor. she keeps us motivated and working hard. she is nurturing but knows when to push you. she is amazing at differentiating the work out for all fitness levels and needs. i describe boot camp as the pe class you had in high school and hated, but now you pay to take it and LOVE it. i even miss it on the weeks that we have off in between sessions. plus, you can't beat working out in fresh air as opposed to a stinky, stuffy gym. Pros: instructors, working out outdoors, variety Cons: i haven't found one yet more

I've been doing Sonki Fitness on and off for over 3 years now and it always whips me into shape. It's super motivating and an awesome workout. I would highly recommend this boot camp to anyone looking for a fantastic workout that really promises results. And don't worry, there are no army fatigues and screaming in your face. Just good music and lot's a people with the same goal - to be in the best shape they can be! more

Best bootcamp in town!! 2/16/2009

I have been having fun participating in Sonki Fitness Training since Thanksgiving 2008 and I love my results. I am more energetic, I feel my body getting stronger each week, and I'm having so much fun doing this with my colleagues. Sonki makes you push yourself, even when you think your body can't do another push-up or sit-up. If you are like me, I am almost 50 years old, and you thought you couldn't do it, you should give it a try because you will be amazed and proud of yourself. Pros: love working out at the beach and watching the sun come up!! Cons: getting up so early, but it's worth it :) more

Phenomenal Workout 2/16/2009

I've been with Sonki Fitness since September of 2008 and I feel so positive, I sleep better, have more energy and stamina, and I look forward to the classes. I can't imagine a fitness routine without Sonki in it. The group sessions are called Bootcamps, but don't let the label scare you. The high intensity workouts will push you to your own personal limits (everyone is at their own fitness level), but are in an environment that is supportive and fun. No yelling, just a lot of encouragement, healthy sweat and hard work. Pros: Great value, postive environment, workouts by the beach Cons: ladies may get a lot stronger than their boyfriends or husbands :) more

EXCELLENT AND FUN WORKOUT!!!!! This is the best workout I have done. I previously belonged to a gym and went to classes but they don't even compare to Sonki's workouts. His classes are always fun and they are always a little different so you don't get bored. He encourages you without being mean or yelling. He is very supportive. I highly reccomend this boot camp. Pros: Encouragement, fun, great workout, group environment more

It helps so much to work out with a group...you feel obligated to go and then you make connections and have fun! Sonki is a great motivator and is not mean. He encourages everyone to work their hardest while listening to their bodies. I would never do half of the exercises if left to my own devise. The (small amount of) money is WELL WORTH it!! =0) Pros: exercising outdoors, meeting new people, getting in shape Cons: can't think of any! more

The BEST workout and social networking experience in LA 2/15/2009

Joining Sonki Fitness may as well be the best, most fun thing you can do in LA. I have been working out with Sonki Fitness for over a year and I look forward to every single work out. I have lost about 18lbs and feel better than I ever have in my live. It's so much fun and such a tough but fun workout AND I have made SO MANY new friends through the classes. It's awesome!!!!!!!! Pros: It's the most affordable bootcamp in LA and so much fun and a tough workout! Cons: I wish there were even more class times and days in my neighborhood more

MOTIVIATION PLUS! 2/15/2009

Let me start out by saying that I am 56 years old and have always (repeat: always) hated exercise. I have never found an exercise program that I have been able to stick with. I have been exercising with Sonki since mid-2005. This is the longest I have ever attended an exercise program. Pros: Quality of workout, exercising outdoors (even at the beach), affordable Cons: I'll let you know when I think of one! more

BEST FITNESS CLASS EVER!!! 2/15/2009

Sonki's class is fantastic. I've seen fabulous results over the past year, and I'm still improving every month! He does a great job of catering to all fitness levels, so the workouts never get old. Trust me, you'll be sweating hard in every class, but you'll feel great afterward. Pros: Skilled instructors, tough workouts, personal attention Cons: pricier than joining a gym (but I think it's worth it) more

Hard core workout with a relaxing vibe! 2/15/2009

When I think of ""Boot Camp"" I typically imagine a big crazy army guy yelling at me and telling me to ""eat dirt"", but with Sonki you get an experienced, calm voice telling you ""not to give up"", ""push yourself"", and ""what you put in is what you get out"" as you hold Super-plank for a minute or longer... Pros: beach/outdoor atmosphere, highly trained instructors, cardio, strength and endurance training all in one. more
