Sit 'n Sleep

Yayy! I'm the second review today, lol. Anywayyy, I consider myself a mattress connoisseur (and yes, I had to spell check that one, hahaha) of sorts. I mean I put shoes, purses, and maybe chocolate above mattresses, but I just have some obsession with sleep. I think I spend more time picking out the comfiest pajama pants and sleep outfits than I do my actual clothes (Victoria's Secret prooooobably loves me). Well I spend about 3 weeks each time I get a new mattress making a decision. And I'm often popping into Sit n Sleep to see about replacing a pillow or adding to my comfy bedroom. A few months ago I purchased the Aireloom Casablanca mattress... Oh wow. It's a latex bed (whatever that means, right?) but it definitely allows for a perfect contour for my aching body at night while my husband could be rolling around unnoticeably on the other side-basically.. I can notice him when I want to and ignore him when he's being badddd ;) So yea, all this talk is making me wanna peace outta here and jump in the bed. (I must add.. this mattress is ""young and rowdy couple approved"" lol) more

Hahaha, wow. I love how every time I read a review site, people are soo negative. I was about to buy a TV at Best Buy or someplace similar and checked the reviews: ""Never Buy Here!, ""They are all LIARS!"", and so it goes. So I felt the need to rectify the negativity I see here. I personally went to Sit n Sleep. I bought a mattress. Done. It was good. I don't feel deserving every time I make a purchase to get a pat on the back, a solid gold star guarantee that promises if I let my kid crap on the product that I can get it replaced free no questions asked, and I don't expect every time I walk into a store that every employee is having a great day and they happen to love their job at that moment (though I hope for the best). All I'm saying is, people can be really rude and expect the road they walked on to be paved in gold. Sometimes I go McDonalds.. and ya know what.. I already know going into it that they arent always gonna get my order right. So my advice is take life a bit less seriously.. My best mattress purchases have been at Sit n Sleep and I've just kinda gotten to where I like them. Good people. They don't deserve to be called crooks and such. more

I went into the Sit 'n Sleep Glendale store and purchased a Serta Queen Mattress/Box Spring Set with frame. They delivered a Trump Home set and said it was the same thing. Typical Bait and Switch tactic selling you a high quality mattress set and delivering a cheap inferior quality set and hope you don't notice. I talked to store personnel, supervisors, managers, and Home Office Customer Service with different stories from everyone but, bottom line, they won't pick up the mattress they delivered (it's still in the plastic wrap they delivered it in -- unopened) and they won't deliver the mattress set I purchased and they won't cancel the order. This is clearly breach of contract on their part but they won't budge. WARNING: I don't recommend this outfit to anyone unless you are looking to be cheated. Ignore their stupid commercials because you won't get anything from this place for FREE -- even if you pay for! Pros: Good place to get cheated Cons: Lots of unhappy customers more

I always forget how much of a difference a mattress makes until I actually get a new one.. and I love it. Sit n Sleep happened to have some machine to help me find the best match.. cant remember the name of it.. body machine or something. But I narrowed it down to a few different mattresses in different price brackets and finally settled on a Miralux.. great decision, I love it! Per store manager's recommendation we purchased a mattress that would be a good choice for my ailing mother who is suffering from Arthritis. After a few days, we called back to have it exchanged for a firmer mattress. We visited the store again, picked a firmer mattress (again with manager's help) and paid the restocking fee and extra charge for an upgrade. After several failed attempts to deliver the correct item, I finally got frustrated and I demanded to return the item for full refund. They offered a $250 refund to keep me happy. For the fourth time, they arrived to exchange the mattress with a little surprise. They inspected the purchased mattress with flash light and kept it under the sunlight and found a stain on it, thus void the exchange policy. We were told they could not take the mattress back because it is stained. Now, it is obvious to me that Sit n Sleep sells used mattresses. This explains why they pick up the old mattress for free. They take the old mattresses to their shop, clean them, and sell them to customers again. The stain they showed was not visible to me the first day they delivered. Obviously, it's an older stain that's not visible to anyone unless you keep it under the sunlight. My experience with Sit n sleep was terrifying. Customer service was horrible, drivers who inspected the mattress were rude and did not give me their information. I had to snap a few pictures from me on their way out since they refused to give me their information. I urge everyone to stay away from Sit n Sleep stores! I went in specifically for a TempurPedic mattress, those things are great! I went in knowing I wanted one, but not knowing WHICH one. The sales rep took me around the store and made sure I didn't want a cheaper one, but I was pretty dead set on a Queen size and so they worked with me on the price a bit. \r I didn't personally take the test, but I saw someone being tested on a body diagnostic test that tells you what kind of mattress is best for you. It looked really cool, but seeing as I already had my eye set on the TempurPedic, I didn't need the test. \r \r Great price! Great Quality! We bought a mattress here because we thought they would offer us a great deal. However, we discovered that after we bought our mattress, they had misled us on several details- from what kind of pillows we got for ""free"" to what size the mattress actually was. We found their customer service very poor (but perhaps it was just our salesperson) after we put a payment down. We highly recommend that you avoid buying a mattress here, or at any sit n sleep..If you do buy a mattress, be sure to read the fine print!!!. more
