DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Now I know why they are called Slum Lords of Rentals. They are horrible to get anything done. It can take a couple of weeks to get anything done. I was without a refrigerator for three weeks that worked and the one that they finally got me only worked not a hundred percent and was constantly running,. When I moved in, the yard work was not done; the house was filthy and high stunk of cat pee. I even had the same witness for when I moved come look at the place when I moved out. She stated it was a heck a lot cleaner when I moved out. My driveway was horrible. It needed dirt put on both sides (circular) really bad to the point of any kind of puddle stunk REALLY BAD. Kathy’s comment to that it is the dry season so it does not need to be put in until it starts raining. These people insisted on that when moving out that behind the refrigerator needs to be cleaned. When I got the refrigerator replaced the first time, it was filthy behind there. Now I did not even look behind the stove. I probably would cringe if it was in the same filthy mess that behind the refrigerator was. I hated to talk to Kathy since she always acted like she was better than anyone else and that you were always in the wrong with her. There are a lot of times it would be hard to get a hold of anyone in the office when something is needed. I would leave several messages and they would not call me back. I have been in the office and watched them ignore the phone when it is ringing in. Also I asked about walking through with her that same day I turned my keys in and she stated to me that she was too busy to walk the with me that evening; that she had other plans. She will go and walk through it tomorrow (the day after I turned my keys in). She would not tell me a time so I could go through the walk through with her. more

I LOVE Sierra Shadows Realty and would recommend it to everyone! I really don't understand the bad reviews. They have been my property managers since 2009. I can always get in touch with them. They contact me promply when something is broken and it gets fixed right away! They have been in the area for so long that they know all the contractors and only hire quality people. I would rent from them in a heartbeat! more

********DO NOT, I REAPEAT DO NOT EVER DO BUISNESS WITH THESE PEOPLE************\r \r When I got the Keys to my place I thought it was going to be move in ready with a little cleaning... boy was i wrong and after getting the run around that she will have the cleaning crew there for aweek i had enough I tried cleaning it myself for 5 days YES 5 DAYS because it was that disgusting I finally just hired someone because I could not get out of my lease because it was past the 48 hours lol I got thre keys on a Friday and called on Monday. There was a nasty smell in one of the rooms thought maybe a dead mouse was in the wall and adv them of the situation instead I'm told of a ""funny"" story about the mouse that lived in my oven... while she laughs and i throw up a lil in my mouth... the stove was replaced right?? NO IT WAS CLEANED OUT!!!!! WTF.... they dont return call THE EMERGENCY NUMBER NEVER ANSWERS OR RETURNS CALLS I HAVE CALLED 20 TIMES IN A ROW AND KATHY JUST ANSWERS AND HANGS UP... WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN AND ASKED HER TO DO AN INSPECTION SHE REFUSED....SHE IS SUCH A BITCH I DONT KNOW HOW SHE IS STILL IN BUSINESS AND WHO WOULD RENT FROM HER...I NEVER WILL AND I WILL NEVER REFER HER ND I MAKE IT KNOWN TO EVERYONE ABOUT THIS COMPANY....\r \r \r KAYDOT WAY TO STICK UP FOR YOUR MOM!!!!! JUST VOICING MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT! This company is very shady! I am renting a property from this ""COMPANY"" if that's what they call it these days. Once we moved in we started to notice things that were horribly wrong. Let's start with the outside. Broken glass, beer cans, nails, screws, broken t.v. and trash (Which is still there)..Shall I go on?! Once I cut everything down and attempted to clean up what I would call a landfill that's when my wife and I noticed the ground was moving. That's when we realized this POS apartment is over run with Roaches....The ""COMPANY"" did have someone come out to spray but said they would only spray once...Ahhh.. Thanks for being sooo sweet @@. Then as you walk inside everything seems to get a little better....lol or so we thought! Did I mention that we have windows held together with silver duct tape, no screens on any of them, the AC unit doesn't work and when the guy came out to fix it he laughed and said there is no way this can fixed! We called the company and they said the parts are on back order..Sure, like every other lie that has come out of this company's mouth. Still waiting and it's getting up in 90's in here. Now let's talk about "" Unattached storage unit"" that houses the water heater and other electrical cables that run into the apartment. Not only is it ATTACHED BUT THE DAMN ROOF IS CAVING IN! It is caving in on the water heater and the live electrical cords that are running into the Apartment. So here is where it gets really good. My daughter went in to the company's office and talked to them. After showing pictures of the collapsing roof they told my daughter and her Fiance that there was a current bid to fix the roof. Then a couple of days later they told us that the room isn't attached so it's not their responsibility. So I guess the BID was just another lie! "" Very laughable"" What this company has failed to realize is their company is being reported to the Arizona Department of Real Estate. Oh' and the health department and The Department Of Economical Services. This place doesn't even come with fire extinguishers! Which is required!!!! But I am sure they will try to find away around that as well. Unfortunately if I have to legal action I will. I have received all the information I need through the Arizona State Legislature. I am hoping for all of this to resolved but due to the lack of promptness from this company I am not very hopeful. :( more

The personnel at Sierra Shadows Realty are very difficult to get in contact with and never prompt. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. The staff is incredibly unprofessional. I would not recommend that anyone use this company. more

TENANTS ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED AND ISSUES TAKEN CARE OF. 3 TENANTS COMPLAINED OUT OF 100'S THAT ARE CURRENTLY LIVING IN THE PROPERTIES MANAGED BY SIERRA SHADOWS. IF YOU HAVE A CONCERN...ADDRESS IT, DONT JUST ATTACK A BUSINESS ONLINE. THE ""LADY"" HAS DONE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN SIERRA VISTA FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND LOVES HER JOB SO MUCH SHE DECIDED TO START HER OWN BUSINESS, WHICH IS SIERRA SHADOWS REALTY. This place is a JOKE! Seriously the worst business in Sierra Vista hands down. I seriously don't think that the Lady the runs the place has any real interest in providing any kind of service other than F&$%ing people out of their money. I realize that the economy is really bad right now, and to me that means that people don't have money for unnecessary expenses. Like lots of BS charges for this that should had been fixed before we even moved in. This lady is a grouch for the most part, and doesn't really like her job. If at all possible I would avoid this place like the Plague. Which coincidentally might be contaminating some of her properties. Much like everyone else's comments on here, mine is pretty much the same. Everything about the house we rented was extremely sub par. From the general cleanliness of the house down to the broken appliances, everything was crappy! If you care about getting ripped off, or the health and welfare of your family, Please seek other housing. Pros: None! Cons: Just about everything! more

My husband choosed a house that he didn't have time to check inside. We needed to move urgently , while I'm working overseas. Obviously you expect that this case when you depend on the real estate agent they will be honest and fair about the condition of the house . Well, they are not ! \r As soon as he entered the house he found out that it is a relic from the 70's . The furniture , the washing machine , the fridge (that is half brooke) , not even talking about the dirt on the hodden places (e.g. storage room ) . I'm terrified to move into this house , especially with our newborn baby. \r I have never faced such a LOW BUSINESS ETHIC in my life . \r more

I asked to be released early from lease and stated would cover days home went unrented and I did, they rented home 22 days after I got out. I wasn't expecting to get my deposit back because that was around the money I would owe, but I get a bill in the mail for all these rediculous charges and stating I still owed 244 dollars on top of my deposit of 650. I could believe and then she threatened to come after me unless I paid these charges. I am getting ready to leave the military and didn't want any unsettled debts when I get out so I paid but would not recommend her to anyone. seirra shadows is a rip off Pros: the daughter was the only nice person in that place Cons: everything more
