I tried to do my own Tape Data Recovery when the tape snapped in a couple of places and then went flying in the air. I learned quickly I should not have attempted this. I knew absolutely nothing about what I was doing. Sometimes in life, no matter how smart we think we are there is always smarter people who did it for a living. I called Secure Data Recovery Services and they found 91% of my data. I ruined the rest of it trying to repair it myself, so 9% was too damaged to recover. Well, I learned a valuable lesson that day. If truly want something done that is out of your expertise, call professionals. Secure Data Recovery Services did an amazing job to accomplish finding 91%. I thought I lost more than 25% so I was very pleased in the outcome achieved. The experience was pleasant and everyone involved was friendly and courteous. Oh, and the price was terrific! Thank you. more

They did a good job 7/12/2012

We rely on Crystal Reports in a vast variety of things in the company I work for. We experienced major issues with it not opening anything for anyone in the company. Our technicians could not seem to resolve the problem, so we called in Secure Data Recovery Services to try and fix it. They did a Database Data Recovery and a few employees had Trojan viruses in their computer that infected the network system which then corrupted Crystal. I was really happy that it wasn?t me! Anyways, I wanted to say thank you for your services that day. Both the price and the minimal amount of downtime we experienced made everyone?s life easier. Fantastic display of ethics 6/11/2012

After inserting my USB into my laptop one of the pins came off. I called Secure Data Recovery Services and sent it out that day for a USB & digital media recovery. Not even a week later it was returned back to me with all of my information on a new USB drive. The charge was very reasonable. Secure Data Recovery Services performed a database data recovery at my company. The staff exemplified professionalism, elevated knowledge and was extremely dedicated to our situation when our database security was breached. This is an actual review by an actual customer.\r \r First tip: BACK UP YOUR DATA. But, since you're reading this, I assume that cow's left the barn.\r \r If you suffer a hard drive failure or RAID failure, you may find yourself reaching out to this company. One of the hard drives in my RAID array failed and I lost a lot of precious data. After some diligence, I decided to use the services of Secure Data Recovery.\r \r They seem to be operated out of Ohio and Los Angeles (AKA, Worldwide Acceptance Group and many other d/b/a's), but apparently have agreements with office suites across the country to act as drop points ... don't expect to walk in and talk to the tech working on your hard drive.\r \r You are assigned a customer service rep that acts as your main point of contact. It sounds like a VOIP call-forwarding phone system, but my rep answered most of the time (no voice mail ... so email may be your best bet). Not sure if this service is provided domestically or out-sourced.\r \r I drop more

I thank you for your help 4/6/2012

I am not sure what my husband did to our computer, but when I turned it on a giant red scary creature started laughing at me!! I could not go anywhere, all I saw was this gargoyle type figure and it was stuck there. I brought the PC to Secure Data Recovery Services and had a nice young man get it out of my car. Before the end of the day it was ready. Very reasonably I must say and I am grateful not to see that ugly red creature again! The computer got a bad Trojan virus in it and Secure Data Recovery Services quarantined and removed it and did a laptop data recovery and made it back to normal. I thank you for your help. more

They are the best recovery place ever and very affordable 2/6/2012

I love Apple devices, so a few years ago I broke down and got the Apple Mac laptop that I really wanted. The laptop ran like the wind from day one with no problems. While I was facebooking one day, all of a sudden it started making an ungodly sound with grinding type noises. I shut it off instantly and after deliberating who to call, I tried Secure Data Recovery Services. It was the best call I could have made. I sent out my laptop and they did a Mac data recovery. They replaced my hard drive with a better one with more space and sent it back to me a week later. All of my information was found and placed on the new drive. What can I say? I am very grateful 1/23/2012

At our annual company party, an employee put a bottle of opened soda on top of our RAID. He then bumped it and it started to smoke. He came running to me and without hesitation I called Secured Data Recovery Services who I used the year before. They rushed over and tended to the issue and a sticky issue at that. As good as new 12/28/2011

I love my Mac laptop. I use it everyday and it is immaculate free from dust and grim. Ok, maybe I am a little OCD, but I like it clean as a whistle and pretty. I always leave it on the table that has a table cloth in the kitchen. My cat leaped from a cabinet threw the air, grabbed a hold of the table cloth clinging it for life and pulled the table cloth and my laptop to the floor. I watched it happen in slow motion and there was nothing I could do. I could have cried. I brought it to Secured Data Recovery Services. Two days later they told me they did a Mac Data Recovery and it is as good as new. I could not stop smiling and did the happy feet dance. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! more

Thank You 11/22/2011

I thought I lost everything when my morning coffee spilt all over my laptop and then it start to make icky noises and an awful smell was coming from it. I could not unplug it soon enough and figured it was a goner. My brother heard about a company that could fix it. Being the skeptic I am I had no faith. We sent it out to them for a hard drive recovery and in less than 10 days got my laptop back. To my amazement it worked like a charm thanks to the Secured Data Recovery Services. I am still astonished it is working and now I leave the laptop shut while having my morning coffee. more

I have a 32 bit laptop and my icons and info seemed to be disappearing like something was eating them. I thought I was in a bad pacman game. I called Secure Data Recovery Services and dropped it off. This was my first data recovery operation. To be honest, before this, I didn't even know such companies existed, and now I find it's really kind of tough to give a review. But I guess I'm not alone here, pretty much everyone only has only one experience with only one company. I imagine most people only need data recovery once, I hope, before they learn to backup their data. So I don't really know how to write a good review, since to write a review, you kind of need something to compare it to, or at least have some prior knowledge. But whatever, I'll offer my 2 cents worth. So I went with Secure Data Recovery Services in Dallas, and I found the experience to be fantastic. Great Experience - Proven Record 7/11/2011

I worked with Secure Data Recovery Services of Dallas when my computers hard drive got erased. The staff at Secure Data Recovery Services were very patient with me considering I had no idea what I was doing! They worked with me till the very end where every thing on my computer was retrieved! I was amazed at how fast they got this done! I now trust this company because they retrieved all the data on my computer that I thought was long gone, fast and reliably! I am a business man for a worldwide company and all of my important files are held on a compact thumb drive. The files on my thumb drive are what makes me my money, Without my files I basically have no job. One morning I was drinking my morning coffee and I just so happened to spill a little bit onto my thumb drive and unfortunately next time I tried to use it all of my files were gone. It was a smooth operation, and just what service should be. 5/23/2011

I won't bore you with my story, just what matters. Secure Data Recovery Services recovered our data within the timeframe of 2 days, between our first point of contact and the time we picked our server back up with the data on it. This is relatively quick because we had a rather complicated RAID 5 configuration. We appreciated the way they structured their business - the evaluation is free, there is no minimum charge, they have a ""no data recovered, no recovery fee"" guarantee in place, and they don't charge you until they are finished. We consider these to be essentials in a data recovery operation, and we turned down other companies if any of these were missing. We don't care much about customer service as long as they recovered our data, but nevertheless, we can say some good things. They kept us updated in the two days that we were parted with our server, and told us what they were doing, how long it would take, and whether the prognosis on our data changed. In summary, it was a smooth operation, and just what data recovery should be, nothing more, nothing less. more

Customer-oriented 6/3/2010

Aware of the consequences I still refused to back up my data every day. I thought that once every week should do the trick. Unfortunately my poor knowledge did not prevent the data loss from occuring. I went through a few businesses in the field but decided to go with Hard Drive Data Recovery Services Dallas due to the fact that their customer service impressed me right away with the overall knowledge and concern for my issue. Five days later I was holding my brand new drive with a transfered data on it and since then I have caught up to the notion of data backup. more
