I came to Salon Volo because I was looking for a good salon with good reviews and needed a new look for graduation. Many of the previous reviews keep mentioning Tina. I was blown away when I first came in, it's so clean and everybody is so friendly. I was so happy to meet Tina for the first time, very pretty and with lovely curly hair (I don't often see curly haired women.. :( ). I told her I didn't really like my hair and want it cut shorter, she did a wonderful and professional even cut after a wash and condition with the curvaceous line from Redken. While the cut was a bit shorter than what I would have wanted, I am always getting complements when I leave my hair down. My hair feels great. more

I love Salon Volo. I moved here in June and found the Salon in November. Chris A did an amazing job coloring and styling my hair. I can't wait to go back to see her. My new hair color and style looks great! more

Went to Salon Volo for the first time when I found out my favorite hair stylist Christine moved to the salon. Ready to go back for my second visit! A very welcoming salon, great staff. After moving here from the Chicago area, I chose Salon Volo because they are a Redken salon. I keep coming back because the way Stephanie cuts and colors my hair has made me look 10 years younger. She's wonderful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Salon Volo was THE BEST experience I have ever had in a salon. You walk in, and the place is gorgeous. I was welcomed by the glowing and helpful staff. The owner, Rob, did my hair personally and it has never looked better. I told him what I wanted and he listened. Throughout the cut I felt comfortable and relaxed. He gave me easy and helpful tips about my hair and taught me how to properly manage it. Leaving the salon, I felt beautiful and confident. I will continue to go to the salon and would recommend anyone. more

Oh my gosh! Okay so I drove up and was super nervous because I've been searching for a good salon and every time I go somewhere they fail my hair miserably. Anyway, I talked with Stephanie and told her exactly what I wanted, Low and behold! She listened! She did two separate colors on me,Chocolate brown on top and dyed my bleach blonde a nice chest nut brown,Blends in perfectly. She also left some high lights where the blonde was. Anyway, It was a great price for everything she did and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, Completely exceeding my expectations! She shampooed, conditioned, and deep condition treated my hair about 3 times and dyed it twice. I had a great experience, The only complaint I'd have is her goofing on my 'before' damaged hair quite a lot...But it's all good, I enjoyed my experience. I'd definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for high quality at an affordable price! more

I have been a client of Salon Volo for many years. I now live on the East Coast of Florida, but I still make my hair appointments at Salon Volo every time I am in St. Petersburg to visit my mother---that's how good I think Rob is as a stylist!! In fact, I think all of the stylists are terrific...I highly recommend this salon and spa!! more

I was referred to owner Robert Goddard by what is now an even better friend and he has changed my life, HONESTLY. My hair has always been my weakest feature and even worse in pictures than in the mirror somehow, UGH. I am a young 46yo with graying, fairly curly, fine and not a ton of it hair. I now have a hot, sexy enviable look! My base is still a nice warm brown but we decided to jump right in and add some chunky blonde highlights placed just so as to work just right with my natural style. Highlights have always been so damaging to my hair but he was confident enough for both of us so....I trusted him, after all I had left my long term comfortable situation to try him so I had to. My hair is unbelievable now, it fits how I feel! I have received more compliments in the last few weeks than I ever have on my hair and I can't keep my hands off it. This man cuts curly hair in a way I've never had and has the experience and knowledge to really make me look like I have more hair than I do. I simply scrunch my curls into a soft, wavy/curly style with blonde pieces that look so meticulously separated from the brown and perfectly placed I'm still amazed it's my hair! Being a true hair professional really is Rob's sixth sense. Robin is always a joy to make and reschedule my appointments with and the salon is upscale feeling yet warm and welcoming, these are hard things to balance and they do it well. I can't wait to go back again and again and again! He's not NYC expensive but I would definitely pay it if he was. more

I have been looking for a new place to get my hair cut and my aunt took me to Salon Volo. The staff was so nice and the salon is very clean. I didn't know what to do with my hair so Tina helped me decide on a look and it was perfect! I highly recommend coming to see Tina! more

My sister in law posted a pic of her new haircut and I loved it. I had been looking for a new stylist since mine of 15 years moved away. I went to Tina, told her what cut I wantd (even though I didn't really even know), what hair color I wanted (strawberry blonde) and she hit it on the mark. First time that I have had my hair professionally done and walked out of the salon with the exact color I wanted!!! Very pleased. Coupons always available for return visits.
