I have been a client of Salon Volo for many years. I now live on the East Coast of Florida, but I still make my hair appointments at Salon Volo every time I am in St. Petersburg...

Worst

Dont buy any gift cards from salon volo. They don't honor what they sell. I am having to file through small claims court to try to get back what I paid them for services unrendere...

A salon That is SO worth it! 11/22/2010

I have been going to Salon Volo for years and honestly I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else! You can count on all of the stylists to be completely professional and very good at what they do. They have been trained extensively and you know you will leave there looking like a million bucks. Even the front desk is so extremely professional and courteous - over the phone and in person. The salon is impeccably clean and relaxing. It is a total experience and no matter how difficult this economy gets - Salon Volo is SO worth it! more

Salon Volo has been a great find for me in this area. After going to three different stylists in the last 5 years, I am so happy to have found Tina. She does great color and cuts and is always ready to treat me to something to drink - cappicino if I am tired, wine if I am stressed! more

Excellent Experience All Around! 11/11/2010

Before starting with my current hair stylist, Tina, it had been over 10 years since I had a stylist that I actually trusted. She respected my choices for a straight cut of a certain length (regardless of their simplicity and restrictions) on my first visit and because of that she earned my trust and I have stayed with her for almost two years now. I have gone on to cutting my hair shorter and incorporating more style than ever before, regularly do demi-perm color, highlights, and the keratin treatments. Ever since I started the routine, I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. The service and quality also extends to the rest of the salon staff. They are also very attentive, friendly and remember you when you return. They use high quality products and do not skimp when providing the services. The environment is very comfortable and the seats where they wash your hair are like a mini getaway. The refreshments (wine or coffee) are also a nice touch. I highly recommend this salon and especially Tina. more

Salon Volo Rocks! 11/8/2010

Being a St. Pete native, I have tried (too) many salons and just never been happy with the results. Then a friend recommended me to Rob at Salon Volo ... it was the best haircut that I ever had. I have never had some many compliments on my hair/hairstyle! The call ahead to remind you of your appointment, and then when you arrive, they are ready for you. No waiting 30 minutes because the stylist is backed up. more

Salon Volo = BEST and most trusted salon!!! :) 10/31/2010

I've been going to my stylist at Salon Volo since early elementary school to get my haircuts. Jeanna has been doing my hair for about 10 years I'd say or more perhaps, and she's been doing my mom's for about 24 years! She has neverrrrr disappointed me with a hair cut, she can always cut my hair the way I describe or would like it to look, she knows her stuff and I always leave happy while knowing that the next time I come back I can try something new whether it's a color change, or more layers, and know that she won't botch it up! Jeanna's attempt to styling is very natural, and I love it! The staff is all very friendly, and the salon itself is very modern yet homey, and they keep it very clean. Jeanna is also very good at giving hair washes, it's like mini spa treatment with the best scalp massage imagineable! more

All Service Top Salon 10/29/2010

I've been going to the salon now for about five years. I tried many other salons and Salon Volo is the best. Rob does my hair and he knows what would look best in a style for my shape of face. He always is willing to try something new if I want a change. He is up on the latest styles, but won't force that on me if I don't want it. The coloring looks so natural. In fact, another beauty shop told me they learned from him. I thought, then why am I at another salon, why not go to the expert. I'm always happy with the style and color when I leave the salon. They all make you feel so comfortable being there. Try them you'll see what I mean. Gloria more

Best & ONLY Salon for me 10/28/2010

Love Salon Volo! They know what they're doing always up on the latest trends & tech and have a great staff (love Robin at the front counter). I have been going to my stylist Jeanna Ramsburg for 24 years. Before Jeanna I hated a trip to any salon. Jeanna always interprets what I want or an hoping for perfectly and I laways leave the salon feeling great. We are a second generation fan of Salon Volo & Jeanna as my daughter has been going to her for at least 8 years now. I highly recommend a visit to Salon Volo if you are looking for a new salon and be sure to request Jeanna Ramsburg. more

Salon Volo is the place to go if you want consistent, professional service. I have been going to my stylist, Jeanna Ramsburg, for the past 13 years and have never been disappointed. Service is top notch and they are always willing to work with your schedule, even if that means coming in at 7:00 a.m. on a Friday morning!!!! I would highly recommend Salon Volo. more

We have been going to Salon Volo for several years, and are never disappointed: from Robin on the front desk to Jeanna, stylist and color guru extraordinaire [along with a wicked sense of humor], this team is worth finding. Rob obviously cares about his staff, his business, and his clients. Worth the drive: we drive 90 miles past many other studios of note to get here! more
