I have been a client of Salon Volo for many years. I now live on the East Coast of Florida, but I still make my hair appointments at Salon Volo every time I am in St. Petersburg...

Worst

Dont buy any gift cards from salon volo. They don't honor what they sell. I am having to file through small claims court to try to get back what I paid them for services unrendere...

Fantastic! 9/24/2010

I had made such a mess of my hair by the time I found Salon Volo (through recommendations from friends). The owner, Rob, didn't just fix the mess, he did a complete makeover. I felt so beautiful and pampered when I left that salon. That was about 8 years ago. My husband and I travel from Bradenton, FL to St. Petersburg (about 45 minutes - depending on traffic) and consider the travel to be well worth it. Tim does a fabulous job on my husband's hair. Their level of expertise is beyond compare in color and cut and style. The whole salon experience is all about excellence - on so many levels - each and every time! more

Best hair salon ever!!!!! 9/15/2010

I started going here when a good friend recommened it to me because I was such a big baby to cut or change my hair color..well let me tell you I have never felt sooo comfortable going somewhere where they will baby you if thats what you need! if you have a picture they can do exactly as you like...there is nothing bad I can say about this place and all of my friends always ask where did I go to get my hair done. so when I say its the best hair salon I truly mean it...Thank you salon volo and to my stylist stephanie whos always on top of her game!!!!! more

Dedicated customer 9/15/2010

I wanted to say that this salon is the best in Pinellas County. Everyone there is always concerned about the customers making sure that they are comfortable, giving something to drink etc..... I truly love my hair dresser (B) he is absolutly fantastic. When a really good friend of mine wanted to talk to him about me he was willing and open to that and he is just great. I've handed out all of his cards to friends and family. Even though I've moved to clearwater i still travel to st pete to have my hair cut and colored by (B) only. more

A Salon You Can Trust 9/14/2010

I get my haircut by Rob (the Owner) at Salon Volo, and I've been a returning customer for about five years now. I find that Salon Volo is very comfortable, and all of the staff are professional and friendly. Without a question, this is the best run salon that I've visited in the Tampa Bay area. And you'll leave looking great every time. more

BEST HIGHLIGHTS AND CUT EVER!!! 9/10/2010

For the past 12 years I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted at various places all over St. Pete, Clearwater and Pinellas Park...so when a friend referred me to Salon Volvo and to Tim Grover, I thought, here we go again...just another experience. I usually leave a salon being aggravated with either the way the highlights turned out or my haircut just wasnt right. more

I have been going to Salon Volo for over 10 years, and my stylist Jeanna is great. She is always friendly, funny and supportive and a GREAT stylist. She's been my stylist since my very first visit. The entire staff at Salon Volo is friendly and accommodating and always professional. I can't imagine going anywhere else! more

I have been going to Salon Volo for a few years now and the service is amazing! I love everyone that works there, especially Stephanie! She is such a sweetheart and is great at what she does!! My hair is colored perfectly every time and she gives me the best/ edgy cuts that I want!! Love her!! :) more

Loyal Customer for 10 Years! 9/6/2010

I have been getting my haircut by Rob and Tim for 10 years now and I've never thought about going anywhere else. It's important for me to have a stylist who understands style as well as possesses grea barbering skills because it takes both to do an excellent men's cut. As a lawyer, I want a style that's appropriate for the courtroom, but one that can also be modern for a night out. And I've been able to get exactly what I want at Salon Volo. If this place ever closed, I'd have no idea where else to go. I don't even have a second choice. more

Amazing cut 9/1/2010

I had been having problems with stylists who were not getting the layering right with my hair. Last weekend I found a spare hour while I was in St. Pete and stopped by Salon Volo on the chance I could get a cut. Tim did a great assessment and with just a few strategic cuts, did absolute wonders. Great staff, excellent customer service. My only complaint is that now I'll have to drive 90 minutes from home for future cuts! more

Best Hair Cut 8/27/2010

I have thin, fine hair and have always had a difficult time finding someone who can give me a cute, short hair cut without making me look like a boy. Then a few years ago I found Salon Volo! My stylist, Tim, is the best. He always takes his time to make sure everything is exactly the way I like it. Before Tim I NEVER got compliments on my hair, but now everyday someone will tell me how great my cut is. The staff there is very friendly and I always can't wait for my next appointment! more

Great first experience 8/25/2010

I've never had a ""real"" cut before but I could not have been more happy with my stylist,Tim. He spent lots of time with me in my consultation explaining what was going to happen and asking what I wanted. I didn't know what I wanted when I went in but came out very happy with my new look...thanks to my experience with Tim and Salon Volo. more

Wonderful Wedding Day 8/24/2010

I went to Salon Volo for my Wedding Day and had two other people join me who were not scheduled to get their hair done. Both people were in the wedding party and at the last minute had no one to do their hair. When we arrived at the Salon we were taken back right away and both other people were accommodated in a timely fashion and were even done before I was!!! Thank you Stephanie and Salon Volo for helping make my wedding day special! more

Fab Wedding Hair 8/19/2010

I made an appointment with Tina, I was reffered to her by a friend who goes there religiously. I came in for a consultation for my wedding hairstyle. Tina looked at the picture I brought in and was able to recreate it beautifully using only 3 bobbie pins and a rubber band. I was very impressed. The cost is very agreeable and everyone was very helpful and nice. I can't wait to go back for my color and run through before the wedding. Thanks so much Volo! more
