I have been a client of Salon Volo for many years. I now live on the East Coast of Florida, but I still make my hair appointments at Salon Volo every time I am in St. Petersburg...

Worst

Dont buy any gift cards from salon volo. They don't honor what they sell. I am having to file through small claims court to try to get back what I paid them for services unrendere...

Will never go anywhere else. 2/9/2012

I have gone to Salon Volo for years, and was super sad when my stylist left in 2005. I was in good hands, though, as ALL of the stylists there are PHENOMENAL!!! My original stylist (Tina) has since returned, and its amazing. No one knows my hair like she does! more

Professional Staff and Fantatic Service 1/8/2012

I stopped in for a great manicure with Lori one day and left with pretty feet and a great new hairdo. While I was there Lori referred me to Tina who's styling magic has my hair looking better and better! This is a great salon. more

I had an emergency when i realized i had a surprise photo shoot and it was way after business so i needed to find someone trustworthy to do my hair that very next saturday morning so i searched around online all night for the right prices and range of services and also reading reviews and when i came across salon volo it was everything i was looking for. I called them at 1:30 am and left a message explaining my situation and first thing in the morning i got a call saying they could get me right in and do everything i needed. they were very helpful and very understanding. Overall I am more than satisfied with their professionalism and customer service. more

Best Hair Cut Ever 10/15/2011

We travel in our RV and it is always scary having to find a good hairstylist. Salon Volo is wonderful - clean, bright, cheerful. Tim, the stylist assigned to me, was absolutely WONDERFUL. He was very friendly, listened to what I wanted and then created a miracle - the best, stylish haircut I have ever had! I felt great and received many compliments (even from my husband). We will be in the area for about 3 months in early 2012 and I will definitely go to Salon Volo and will particularly ask for Tim. more

Happy to find a good salon in St Pete! 10/7/2011

I moved to St. Pete and tried a couple salons trying to manage my color; along the way my hair got a little messed up with a way too dark base color and way too light (and too many) highlights. I was really worried trying a third salon while now needing color corrections and worried about stressing out my fine thin hair! Nervously made appt with Christine at Salon Volo. I explained that I wanted to get my medium blonde base color back and to grow out the too-light too-chunky highlights as gracefully as possible. She had owner Rob come over and the two of them developed a specific strategy to achieve the results I wanted with minimal damage to the overly bleached strands. I was impressed with how seriously they took the art of color, it reminded me of the great colorist I had in Raleigh. I am happy with the results and with their plan to apply minimal highlighting at the next touch up to avoid over-processing the existing highlighted areas. This salon is a great value for the level of skill, training and professionalism. more

Friendly and great service 9/16/2011

I enjoy going to Salon Volo. My stylist is Tina. She's awesome. I've known her for several years. I feel comfortable with her. She's a sweetheart. She listens to you, offers suggestions and products for your hair, and I feel like a million dollars when I leave the salon. :) more

My sisters and I love salon volo. We have been going there for over 10 years. I have had nothing but great cuts and color. Tina and Gina have been the 2 that have always cut my hair. I will never go any place else!!! more

Salon Volo is World Class! 7/25/2011

I was fortunate to find Rob and Salon Volo about 20 years ago at their previous location. I will follow this Salon and Rob anywhere! The salon and everyone there greets you warmly when you walk through the door. It is like getting a hug from a dear friend! The salon is kept spotlessly clean at all times and all the stylists are up-to-date on the latest styles and trends. Rob is literally a world-class stylist and I know that I will look my best every time I walk out of the Salon after my appointment. more

Love This Place 7/9/2011

I was referred to Salon Volo by a family member and I am so glad I made the switch to Salon Volo as a former Regis Salon customer. The atmosphere of Salon Volo is inviting and comfortable, it's more than just a salon. The staff is always nice and helpful, offering beverages when you come in or just helping you select the right hair products. Christine is a great hair colorist and is very knowledgeable. She takes her time with me every time and is always willing to do what is asked of her when it comes to hair. She and Salon Volo are amazing and I'm so happy I found them! more

Salon Volo 7/7/2011

I was very pleased to discover Salon Volo. Tucked in between a storage place and a grocery store plaza, I did not expect to be impressed by the place. But, it was a great experience, and I hope to be able to continue to have Christine R. cut my hair. She did a wonderful job with highlights and has given me two great haircuts. The salon is clean and has a friendly but relaxing atmosphere--just what I want after a long day at work when I go for an evening haircut. more

Best Salon in Town!!! 7/5/2011

I have been going here for about 12 years now and Rob, the owner, is one of the best cosmetologists a girl could ask for!! I moved away for college and tried salons in the USF Tampa area and Salon Volo outshines the others which is why I now make the 45 minute drive over just to get my hair done with him! The salon is always clean and presentable and the staff is friendly and for all these reasons I keep coming back! Thanks Rob!! more

Highly Recommend Tina at Salon Volo 6/17/2011

I also have not had much luck with hair stylist ..that was until I met Tina. Not only is she really good with hair styling but she also nailed the coloring too. I love everything she does and highly recommend her to all my friends. The prices are high but well worth it. Thank you Tina!! more

Tina is a wonderful stylist and a true expert with coloring! Whenever I went into a salon I would walk away saying never again... so for 30 years I mostly cut my own hair. That was until I tried Tina. Not only did she spend time with me explaining what my hair needed she listened to my concerns and asked me what I wanted done. The coloring and hair cut were both awesome!!! She has my business for as long as I can afford to go there! more
