I was referred to owner Robert Goddard by what is now an even better friend and he has changed my life, HONESTLY. My hair has always been my weakest feature and even worse in pictures than in the mirror somehow, UGH.
I am a young 46yo with graying, fairly curly, fine and not a ton of it hair. I now have a hot, sexy enviable look! My base is still a nice warm brown but we decided to jump right in and add some chunky blonde highlights placed just so as to work just right with my natural style. Highlights have always been so damaging to my hair but he was confident enough for both of us so....I trusted him, after all I had left my long term comfortable situation to try him so I had to.
My hair is unbelievable now, it fits how I feel! I have received more compliments in the last few weeks than I ever have on my hair and I can't keep my hands off it. This man cuts curly hair in a way I've never had and has the experience and knowledge to really make me look like I have more hair than I do. I simply scrunch my curls into a soft, wavy/curly style with blonde pieces that look so meticulously separated from the brown and perfectly placed I'm still amazed it's my hair! Being a true hair professional really is Rob's sixth sense.
Robin is always a joy to make and reschedule my appointments with and the salon is upscale feeling yet warm and welcoming, these are hard things to balance and they do it well. I can't wait to go back again and again and again!
He's not NYC expensive but I would definitely pay it if he was.
