NEVER EVER GO BACK! 4/27/2012

I went to Knoxville location, 2 days ago.Beautiful place, friendly staff....I needed to get my hair razored, since gal at a different salon I had it cut at, doesn't do any razoring ..I explained that to the gal (she was very nice) ..what I needed done...well all I can say is my hair is so messed up. I cannot do a thing to it...I called to let them know, and was asked to come back in,to have it fixed...there isnt enough hair on my head to cut!!!!! I am LIVID, with a pomade and a haircut, it cost me $72.00...and I cant even style it??????? where is that right???????? Pros: null Cons: null more

Incompetent, Evacuous Front Desk!!!! 9/17/2010

I'd like to start by saying how unprofessionally you respond to negative posts. Your salon management/social media rep clearly lacks professionalism and maturity. I am also now NOT surprised at how many negative comments you have received about the people manning your front desk. Prior to this evening, with the exception of the front desk being ignorant and incompetent, I managed to ignore it due to the talent of your sylists and colorists. What's funny, is that even the talent in the salon comment regularly on the incompetence of your front desk. \r Melissa, your greeter, was dumb enough to complain about me while I was in within hearing distance. I approached her and said, "I've heard everything you said about me." She stared at me blankly. I was told there was no manager. I pushed back and then she recanted and said there is a manager but she was not there. I asked for her phone number. Melissa proceeded to give me the salon's number. Really? I told Melissa that I would call back. I more

The great salon experience! 7/23/2010

This was my first time in my 37 year old life I had ever been in a real salon. My son was donating 12 plus inches of hair to Locks of Love, He is 15 years old and we were both happy with the salon and the staff there. They treated us with kindness and the salon itself was absolutely extraordinary. When we walked in it was like walking into an alternative arts museum. The hair cut was free of charge and we were very pleased. Thanks to David the Hair stylist there my son (Dillon) doesn't regret his decision to lose all that lovely hair for a good cause. more

Worst haircut in a long time 8/27/2009

I have never written a bad review about anywhere, but I'm afraid this will be the first....and I am so disappointed, because I tried this salon based on the good reviews I had read. I don't know if I just got a bad stylist or what, but I requested one of the "senior" stylists, and paid for it. It's a shame that I ended up so upset with how everything turned out. Terrible Customer Service 8/17/2009

Will never go back. The lady at the front desk was nice, that was the only pleasant experience. I will go where my time/money is appreciated. (I'm NOT even demanding, before the attacks come of being needy). Sorry but Azzure, gets two thumbs down in my book. LOVE this place! 4/4/2009

I recently moved to Knoxville, and I had been trying to find a place to get my regular haircut & highlight. The only place that I was satisfied with was Salon Azure. Cindy cut & highlighted my hair, and Kendra washed and styled it. Let me tell you.. This duo made me look like a rockstar! I am soo glad I found Salon Azure, and I will continue to request for both Cindy & Kendra from now on! Pros: Get Cindy && Kendra!!! Cons: none :) more

Best cut and color in a long time! 2/22/2009

Thank you Salon Azure! I live in the Bearden area and have "salon hopped" to all the salons in this area trying to find that reliable salon. Well, I've found it! I went yesterday (Saturday) and received highlights and a cut, which I needed desperately! I was a little nervous about going on a Saturday because I felt like it would be extremely busy and I wouldn't get the attention I needed for the new style I wanted. Well, I was wrong! Katie did my color and she was awesome! I will definitely be visiting her on a regular basis now! I told her what I was looking for and she made some recommendations and it turned out just the way I had hoped!! Michelle cut my hair and did exactly what I requested. Even though it was a Saturday, I received the service I was hoping for and never had to wait! Just can't beat that! Oh, when I was checking out I was expecting the price the be a lot more than it was because I know I've paid more elsewhere and for being a new customer they offer a complementary follow-up appointment to make sure your new style is what you wanted! Salon Azure...please don't change! I truly appreciate it! more

Good hairstylists, bad professionalism 12/5/2008

I visited Azure in February of 2007 and received probably the best haircut I've ever gotten. I thought the peppermint oil scalp massage was very classy and was something very different from any other salon I've been to. The front desk was very accommodating while I was waiting for my appointment. I have a very important interview coming up and was looking for a good place to get a manicure and highlights. I saw Azure on citysearch while searching and saw some of the business' responses to negative feedback. To "LOL" and poke fun at negative reviews seems more like something SuperCuts would do rather than a salon of supposed caliber like Azure. There is a much classier way to deal with it than how you guys handled it, and I'd rather spend my money where the business is actually professional in responding to its customers' problems rather than "LOL"ing at them and saying they're just jealous. more

Awesome Salon! 12/1/2008

I recently had a baby and wanted a "Mommy makeover". I saw the salon in passing and figured I would try it out. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to achieve and they made it happen! Rocky and Tera worked on my hair and they were a GREAT team!! I was VERY pleased with my new look. No complaints at all. They were very easy to talk to and Rocky seemed to really care about what color we were going to use. He was very specific about choosing a color. They also do complimentary makeup after your service! Pros: Whole experience was pleasant Cons: None more

Great new space 11/20/2008

The salon industry in Knoxville is booming. Salon Azure is growing too. They have moved into a much larger new space alongside Kingston Pike. It is in the Homberg area and has convenient parking. The stylists are creative and seem happy to be working in their hip new digs. Aveda products are the focus here - I love Aveda. I recently walked in and received great service and a great haircut without a prior appointment. I enjoyed the music choices and the whole atmosphere of this new salon star. more

The Best Salon Experience Ever! 6/5/2008

I recently lost 10 pounds and wanted to reward myself by splurging with a new hairstyle. I had heard great things about Salon Azure and decided to book my appointment there. Wow! What a great experience! When you walk in the door, you're greeted by such a lovely herbal scent. There's tea, coffee and nice cushy sofas to relax in while you wait. The complimentary scalp and shoulder massage was heavenly. Pros: Ambience, Skill of Stylist, Little Extras (massage, tea, etc) Cons: A Bit Pricey (but worth it!) more

Friday, April 25, 2008. wanted to drop a line and let you know the excellent job Holly did on my hair the other day. I went to a friend to have it cut and was completely dissatisfied. She took the time to look at my hair and hear my concerns. She had several suggestions on how to fix it. She also took the time to show me how to style my new cut.
