Big and perfect steaks. That says it all. And the other items on the menu are great also.

Worst

Dumping a ton of butter on a steak, does not make it good. :( nor does the burning sensation as the grease/butter pops onto you when they serve it at the table.

YES the steak is good! For that price it had better be... and so should the service... a thing of the past for a lot of places. If you are impressed by a chain restaurant with puff, then this is YOUR PLACE! I prefer a little ATMOSPHERE... and service. more

My first exposure to Chris' was in Maui... what a treat! And in L.A. its Beverly Hills ... makes my eyes roll just thinking of those great steaks and side dishes, too. The filet is worth every penny. Perfectly cooked! The crisp salad is def. a hit and the mushrooms for the appetizer was phenomenal. Wine list A+ Pros: large portions, great service more

Filet at it's best! 7/3/2002

To me, they have the very best Filet in town. I simply love thier tender and juicy steak. You need to order side dishes separately and it's pricy. If you want to treat your wife or date, I recommend this place. Every guest at this restaurant will feel they are special. more

This is probably not a great place to be craving seafood, BUT I gotta tell you, they serve the best SEARED AHI TUNA...and if you have money to spare definitely dine!!! Pros: Good Food more

Steak Lovers Paradise 6/3/2002

I would truly recommend Ruth Chris Steak House to any meat-loving carnivore that might have a spare paycheck lying around. The atmosphere is quite cozy and romantic. Without a doubt the food and service was some of the best I have ever had. As with any five-star restaurant you should make reservations and come with a hearty appetite. The best meal of my life 5/28/2002

My fiance & I decided to dine at Ruth's Chris for our anniversary. Honestly, I have never had a better meal or overall experience in my life. The steaks were PERFECT and the lobster was divine. We even had enough to eat for the next day (yeah, I know a little unclassy to ask them to pack it up, but when you have a meal that creates this much joy, you take home whatever is left over). The place has NO pretention, just friendly, attentive, helpful servers who know what they're talking about. I would recommend this place to everyone-truly a dream of an experience!! Too Much and Too Rich 5/20/2002

If you have a huge appetite, Ruth's Chris Steak House is the place for you. For someone with a normal appetite, you'll probably leave stuffed. The steak is very rich - probably the sauce doesn't help - but it does taste good. The sides are basic, but nothing fantastic. I enjoyed my meal - but it took me about a day to recover. mmm... steak 5/20/2002

I feel like Homer Simpson workin' on a Krispy Kreme eating the steak here, it is uniformly fantastic in a way that even Morton's and Smith & Wollensky have a hard time attaining. The service is always unctuous and special--it almost feels like the servers are covering their bases in case you are some bigwig who could drop a $100 tip or get them fired at any moment. The interior in the place could be more luxurious for the price. And the wine list is a little showy--not enough in $40-or-less category. Pros: Da Meat Cons: Interior design, Pricey more
