Efficient and professional 2/11/2012

I liked the ability to schedule an appointment for a plumber in Minneapolis through an email confirmation and was able to check the status of anticipated arrival, Brian was the technician, he was very nice, very professional and explained to me in a way that was easy to understand what it was he needed to do and how long it should take as well as how much it would cost. He completed the job quickly and cleaned up after himself leaving my house cleaner than it probably was when he arrived to work on the problem. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that I felt the prices were on the high side, they claim they don't charge Emergency fees but given the prices I'm sure they come out the same as companies that do charge higher weekend and emergency fees. more

After hearing gushing water in the basement, we immediately called Minneapolis plumber Roto-Rooter. Turns out we not only had one area, but 5 areas where old pipes in the basement had burst in the cold. Mike, one of Roto-Rooters extremely knowledgable professionals, fixed the problem - smiling through the sogginess and slush of the freezing cold to ensure we were completely satisfied. He not only quickly fixed the issue, but prepared us for the remaining cold months to come, also providing clear recommendations for modifications to old plumbing to avoid any future issues. He was on time. He replaced the broken part, The job took about 1 1/2 hours. I do feel that the labor cost of $308 was too much for a simple job. more

Brian from Roto-Rooter was great! 1/25/2012

We had Brian from Roto-Rooter out to south Minneapolis today. We had a blocked main line in the basement that was backing up. Brian was extremely professional and helpful. He fixed the problem quickly and affordably and went the extra mile to make sure we were completely happy with the results. I will definitely call this local Roto-Rooter again. more

Roto Rooter Plumbers 1/11/2012

The recent service from Ron, was just outstanding. He's a real PRO, and kept me informed about the problem and his progress to resolution. The problem was the result of an incorrect initial installation in our 30 year old home. After some considerable excavation in our furnace room, we're back in business and the area was left as clean as a whistle. Nice job Ron and Roto Rooter, I'm sleeping well knowing I'll not have another plumbing surprise like the last one because the source of the problem was located and replaced. more

Roto-Rooter 1/3/2012

After my husband did an unsuccessful attempt to unclog the floor drain in our laundry room with a liquid product we decided to call Roto-Rooter. I wish I had the Service Tech's name (can't find it on my receipt) but he did a great job. He was friendly, knowledgable, and did the job quickly and efficiently. There was absolutely no mess after he left and I did not get ""sticker-shock"" from my invoice. He also advised us of some rust developing in our pipes letting us know it was something we may want to consider taking care of in future. Very pleased. more

Our basement drain backed up causing foul oder water to spread over half of our basement. After trying unsuccessfully to unclog the drain with an auger, I decided to call Roto-Rooter. My call was answered promptly and within one hour Brian (48-936) arrived. After examining the problem, he brought in his equipment and got right to work. Brian was able to clear whatever was clogging the drain and water began flowing. Brian was very courteous and neat and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Based upon this experience, I would definitley recommend Roto-Rooter. more

Our drain in the basement backed up yesterday. Ugh! Yucky stuff from our garbage disposal was all over the laundry room floor. We called this morning and someone was at our door less than an hour later. Brian(48-936) was very helpful and efficient and had the problem solved in no time. We are glad that we called! more

ChrisannF - Sewer had been backing up into all three floor drains as well as the main line cap for over a week. Gross! My husband thought he got the clog when he put a 50ft snake down the main line last weekend. When I was washing clothes yesterday, all the sewers were backed up again. After I called a few services that couldn't come out until tomorrow or even the next day (I was trying to get the cheapest price), I gave up and called Roto-Rooter. We had used them for a backup and basement flooding back in 2006. They were were so prompt and efficient then, and I wasn't disappointed with the service this time either. So glad I called Roto-Rooter in Minneapolis! Brian (48-936), the plumber, arrived within an hour of my phone call. He gave me a prompt estimate and explained everything he would be doing. He cleaned up and completed the job in the time he told me it would take. Then he explained the issue. It was a good news/bad news scenario and may take some further work, but I feel confident in the job Brian completed as well as the service I receive from Roto-Rooter. I will definitely use them again and again more

one of the first days it gets really cold our pips froze, trying to unfreeze them my boyfriend almost got electrocuted and now has a pulled muslc in his back. so we figured we would call the professorial roto-rooter who are thank god open 24/7. they came on time and fix the broken pips and also found more leaks that we didnt even know about. there service is great and the plumber (jeff 2722) was very kind. the thing i liked best about haveing them to fix the pips was they wore boot covers when they came in the house. more

My washing machine has been overflowing the drain pipe and after attemtping to repair it myself - I finally gave up and called Roto-Rooter plumbers of Minneapolis.\r \r Phone service when setting up the appointment was impeccable and thier hours of availability were excellent.\r \r Service tech (Brian #48-936) was on time and completed clearing the drain in no time. Brain also provided a lot of helpful information as to the root of the problem and answered all my questions and concerns.\r \r Very pleased with the service provided and will definetly be calling these guys with any future plumbing issues\r \r If your looking for a great plumber - look no further more

Great Service!! 11/21/2011

We had a plumbing issue on Saturday night. The main line backed up and water was all over the floor in the laundry room. We called 3 different plumbers to get quotes. Roto-Rooter could send someone out that night and turns out they had the best price, with no charge for an after hours service call too. Unheard of!! Our guy arrived a little later that night and did an outstanding job (thank you, Harrison!)!! He was polite, thorough, and conscientious. Overall, he did a fantastic job for a really horrible situation. Thank you Roto-Rooter!! more

Great Service 11/16/2011

I live in the Minneapolis area and when I called for service, I had someone at my door within 45 minutes! Our plumber was polite, professional and honest. There were some issues with the shower drain and he did not stop working on it until it was working properly. If in the future I have any other drain issues, I will be calling them! more

We called for an estimate, which by the way, is always free, and Ray, the plumber who gave us the quote, told us a number four hundred less than an estimate we had gotten from another company. You know we went with Roto-Rooter! Ray was able to do the job immediately. We got a great price, excellent service, and were more than satisfied. Ray was professional and explained what he was doing and why. He was fun, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We were very impressed with that and his integrity. I was complaining about the prices of a company we had used before, and he did not say anything against them, which he could easily have done. We were more than pleased with Roto-Rooter, their pricing, and the plumber. This is a great company, and we really had a positive experience. I highly recommend them. more

Roto-Rooter 9/26/2011

One morning recently I called Roto-Rooter to clear a clogged drain. Despite having to call many numbers to reach a voice (many of the lines simply stopped ringing!), when I did reach a person, she was friendly and efficient. The technician arrived just as indicated. Unfortunately the clog was further into the system than the first technician could reach with his tools so he called for help. The second technician arrived promptly and worked a lot time. He did clear the drain and it has been working even better than the last time we had work done to clear a clogged drain. We are very pleased with the service and the fact that there was also a coupon that lowered the cost. more

Great Service! 9/7/2011

I felt that the team from Roto-Rooter that came to the house to replace piping in my main drain were fantastic. They were kind, courteous, and always willing to stop and answer questions,even questions from our neighbors who were wondering what was going on. They were clean and made sure at the end of the day both days 9/6/11 and 9/7/11 they cleaned up their mess and left it really put back together. I am very pleased with the prompt and kind service I received. Thanks Roto-Rooter! more
