Service performed: Routine main line cleaning. Brian arrived at the time we were told, and was professional and courteous. I especially appreciated that he left the work area spotless! I have used Roto-Rooter for many years for main line cleaning as well as for some drain clog issues, and have always been very pleased with their prompt and professional service. more

Very Professional Plumbing Service! 1/20/2011

1-18-2011, I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers cause the main drain was backing up. Terry called ahead of time and was on time. Once he arrived he did an estimate, which was very reasonable. Once he started he was very professional and thorough. Terry also gave me advice on preventative maintenance. I would definitely recommend this service. more

1-18-2011, I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers cause the main drain was backing up. Terry called ahead of time and was on time. Once he arrived he did an estimate, which was very reasonable. Once he started he was very professional and thorough. Terry also gave me advice on preventative maintenance. I would definitely recommend this service. more

Fantastic service! I was kind of in "panic" mode to get our business back up and running as quickly as I could after finding out we had a clogged drain, and the customer service gal that I talked with, was very friendly and nice and put my mind as ease that they would be out quickly. The service person was wonderful to! He did come very quickly (which was a total shock and relief as we are in Isanti) He fixed the problem with care and concern and most importantly quickly! I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again should I have another drain related problem I would highly recommend them more

Had a severely clogged kitchen sink, the roto-rooter plumber came out to minneapolis and it was taken care of on a sunday for a very reasonable rate. Greeat service. more

Our kitchen sink would no longer drain. At all. Called Roto Rooter. They said they'd be here in an hour. Brian arrived in less than half an hour. Gave us his quote and went to work. He said we had residual grease blockage and since our house is 50 years old and has a looooooooooong line from sink to stack, it could take some effort to get the drain unplugged. In the end, he did get it opened up but did not sound too optimistic along the way. He then sold us Roto-Rooters liquid drain cleaner for preventive measures. Sure hope it works like he said. \r Over all service was fine. Just glad my sink drains now.\r Also glad a Roto-Rooter Plumber from the Minneapolis area was available to fix our problems so quickly. more

Basement drain back-up in our Minneapolis home at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night. RR's plumber arrived 58 minutes after calling and the immediate problem was eliminated within half an hour. Roto-Rooter gets full marks for promptness and work conducted. Mark also discussed further steps we could take since this is the second time we have had RR out here in less than a year due to tree roots in the line. Frankly, I want to call around at this stage and get cost estimates. RR charged $260 to do this job, and $254 last time. They have a single price for service 24/7. Still, I called a randomly selected plumbing service the next day and they told me they would charge $150 for clearing a drain (albeit probably not at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night), so clearly we're paying a premium for 24/7 and maybe for a national franchise. We were willing to accept that given the urgency (couldn't use any water in the house!) at the time, but if this turns out to develop into a bigger job (camera inspection, re-line pipes,...) then I'll definitely get other estimates too. more

Roto-Rooter Plumber was needed for tub drain. Terry the plumber saved the day. Technician #3803. He was prompt, neat and cleaned up after himself. He also wore those ""blue"" booties and that was appreciated. He gave my mom a senior discount and being on a fixed income that was very nice. He suggested a drain cleaner from Roto-Rooter, which she already has. More people like Terry need to be hired at Roto-Rooter!!!\r Mom has always used Roto-Rooter!!! Very good experience.................He was very professional and very helpful. more

The drain wasn't draining The trap I replaced- it leaked all around the place. With a touch of my finger the call went through Roto-Rooter Plummers here within a few. I first contacted Home service Plus and they gave me all kinds of rates and time limits and conditions. So I called Roto-Rooters Plumber in Minneapolis to get a contrast. I have had them come in the past and they did a great job each time. This time, I when I talked with the phone agent she said she all ready had a service man in my neighborhood and he could be there within the hour. Wow. I also inquired about cost and she said they do free estimates on site only. Which makes sense to me because, each house is different and they need to make the estimate right. The service man Brian was pleasant and informative and courteous even though he did try to sell me allot of other services and products which I am sure work great, but I just wanted the drain cleared. He was not pushy or overbearing which I appreciated. I will use them again and recommend them to others. Thank you Roto-Rooter. more

LOVE ROTO ROOTER! I live in Minneapolis, and my laundry room floor drain had backed up. After 2 plumbers working on it unsuccesfully, I called Roto Rooter and the skilled plumber that came out solved the issue. I am so thankful. He was nice and very efficient. Thank you! more
