We are simply thrilled with the work done by Roto-Rooter in resolving a sewer drainage problem that caused the WORST kind of flood in our basement! Phillip (our first responder)...

Roto-Rooter came to our house and the Plumber arrived 10 minutes quicker than the call told us he would. He looked the situation over and within minutes knew how to resolve our issue. We live in Kansas City and would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone and Phillip was the best and politest technician. more

Todd was great! 6/6/2011

Todd, despite being in Kansas City's famous traffic jam, came to my home in good spirit and was very professional. He went out to get a particular part for my water line (for my new fridge) and was back in a jiffy. I would use Roto-Rooter again (and refer them to others) because I called them at 8 am and they was able to get a technician out to my house by 9:30 am (on the same day I called!) Awesome work! Thank you Tony! In less than 20 minutes he had my drains cleared and ready for me to go, and he showed me my line and all the roots that had been backing up my whole house. This had been a two week long flooding nightmare for me that I had tried to fix myself and couldn't. Single mom on a tight budget, I was afraid to call a pro, but a friend suggested y'all and I am glad I called and y'all got to me so quickly. Nightmare over!!\r more

Couldn't ask for better service 5/24/2011

As I went to the basement fridge to grab leftovers, I noticed that the cap on one of the stacks (drain leading from master bathroom) had come off and there was some, let's say water, on the floor. After having a bad experience with a local plumber, my wife and I decided to try Roto-Rooter and I am so glad we did. We scheduled an appointment online selecting the hours we would be home using their extremely user-friendly website. We received a confirmation email and the next morning, another email allowing us to check on the status of the technician who would be working with us. Roto-Rooter called me twice - once to let me know that they could be at our home earlier if we liked (I couldn't do it) and again to let us know our tech was on the way. Vernon showed up promptly, solved the immediate problem quickly and then fixed another less pressing plumbing issue we had (basement sink). Vernon was polite, professional and knowledgeable. I recommend Roto-Rooter and Vernon to anyone who has a need for plumbing services. They made a frustrating situation painless. Absolute pros! more

Fast, friendly, and helpful! 5/17/2011

Mike was great! I wanted to make sure the drain between my dishwasher and my sink pipes was open. Instead of just running the drains, he talked to me about the dishwasher, tried to see if the pump was working ... which is was, but just barely ... and made sure there was water running from the dishwasher to the pipes. You know, he could have just said ""we don't work on appliances"" but he didn't. He came and took a look! Now, that' service! Thanks, Mike! more

This was a Saturday afternoon and we discovered the floor dain in the basement was clogged. We put in some Main Drain Cleaner but it did not work, so we called and they said they would be there with in the hour and they were. Scott checked things out and went right to work. After running the snake for about an hour the main drain line was clear. more

Roto-Rooter May 3rd 2011 5/3/2011

I couldnt believe it when a baby spoon got stuck in the garbage disposal. I didn't know what to do so i googled plumber in kansas city and 1st one was Roto-Rooter. I called and they showed up at my door in about 20 minutes. The guy was so friendly and the price was way less than expected. He was here only about 30 minutes and now i have a perfectly working disposal all thanks to Roto-Rooter. more

Our drains were backing up in garage,,laundry room, and 1/2 bath on a Sunday afternoon in Kansas City and your plumber was here within 2 hrs and cleaned out the main line access. Very neat job and very personable. We will use Roto-Rooter again! more

The best plumbers in Kansas City! One of our toilets was clogged from my children flushing multiple items (ie. army men, apples, and cars). Roto-Rooter was able to get us in the same day and the technicians were very professional and provided tips to avoid future clogs. Thanks again! more

Great job Roto-Rooter! 4/27/2011

I live in Kansas City and needed to find a plumber quick when my kitchen drain got clogged on Easter Sunday. After my husband was unsuccesful at unclogging the drain I called Roto-Rooter the next day and the technician was here within 30 minutes, He completed the job very quickly and was very friendly and professional - and he didn't even mind my dog trying to ""help"" him do his job. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again should the need arise. more

Roto-Rooter to the Rescue! 4/15/2011

We needed a plumber quickly! Hot water pipe was had a hole in it caused by a contractor who was nail gunning baseboards to the wall in our home and hit the hot water line. Water was spewing from the ceiling in the basement and hitting our brand new furnace! We immediately turned off the main water valve. Called Roto Rooter and asked for a Master Plumber who arrived within two hours of this happening. He spent a little bit of time figuring out the best way to fix the problem because of where it was located (not easy to get to) and it was repaired within two hours. Hurray for running water and hot showers again! They're there when you need them most. more
