Worst

Was charged $564 to root toilet, as soon as they left ran dishwasher sink erupted, supposedly not related, $220 more to root. Took 2 hrs work somebody is making a killing!

I called and scheduled an appointment at 10am and the technician arrived by 115pm. He was honest, fast, efficient and he cleaned up after himself. We were veryv pleased with his service! I would recommend them to anyone who is having an draining or plumbing issues. more

Mike the roto-rooter pluimber from the chicago office routed my sewer drain. He quickly suspected he needed fiberoptics. He called his supervisor, Gregg, and requested fiberoptics to be done which proved a broken sewer line outside my hourse. Gregg wrote up a contract and said they would be there by 9am the next morning which they were on time. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 8/13/11 8/13/2011

We use Roto-Rooter as our choice for a plumber in the Chicago area to install our new water heater. We had a previous water heater that was 38 years old, so there was a lot of work involved with the replacement. Our plumber did an excellent job with the installation and cleanup. He even cleaned up the water off of the floor, even though he did not put the water there - it had been leaking for months. We would definitely use Roto-Rooter again for our plumbing needs. more

roto-rooter plumber service in chicago provided by their technician " edmundo " was great. I will recommend anyone. They attended my call right away and I received an appointment within 10 minutes on "Saturday" without any extra charge.... loved it more

I must say Roto Rooter was there for me. BIG problems with my line to the main,they did everything to open it. They still had big problems. But stuck it out with us until the job was done and done right. Will use again if I ever have to. more

if you ever need a plumber in chicago these are the guys you want to call. there is a reason why this company has been around so long. i had a major back up problem in the main sewer line. a section of the pipe had to be replace. the yard had to be dug up in order to replace this pipe. those guys were very efficient in excavating the lawn,cutting out the old pipe,rodding out the remaining lines, replacing the damaged pipe with the new one,filling in the hole without causing unsightly damage to the lawn,all within seven hours. simply amazing , highly recommended. more

Roto-rooter plumbers 5/2/2011 5/3/2011

We had a clogged drain leading to an ejector pit in our basement. Roto-rooter came out late one night in February and solved our problem. Three months later the problem was back! Roto-rooter came back out and honored their guarantee. The plumber was on time, and very helpful in fixing the problem. I will call them again with any future problems in Chicago. Julian was terrific. more

Expert knowledge pays off 2/14/2011

The emergency repair was on Valentines Day, and Dan came to the rescue. He fixed the bathtub drain in less time than he had estimated, and my dinner plans with the wife were not lost. While he was repairing he made several other suggestions on some future repairs that I might consider to correct some other issues we both suspected would require addressing in the future. His generous suggestions and information for my consideration were right on the mark, and his advice I suspect will pay off and save me money in the future. Fast, reliable, and guaranteed work done expertly, carefully and all cleaned up on time. Great job, and my first call for future plumbing repairs. more

Great Elmhurst Job 2/14/2011

Josh from RR came out, listened and then rodded out/looked at problem for the diagnosis of broken sewer line in front yard. Immediately quoted the price for repair, set us up with financing and got a crew to start digging by 3:00pm so the 6 of us could finally use the bathroom/shower. Josh answered all my questions and the excavators were courteous and professional. The job finished up at 8:00pm. We were very impressed with the speed and professionalism of Roto-Rooter. On Saturday, January 29, 2011 John Nelson, a Roto-Rooter plumber, did work in our home in the Chicago area. He replaced under sink pipes and repaired/replaced faucets in our kitchen and bathroom. He explained costs and procedures, worked efficiently and showed respect for our property - also, he is a genuinely nice guy! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 1-21-11 1/21/2011

We called a Roto-Rooter in Chicago for a plumber to assist in retrieval of a cell phone that was accidentally flushed and clogging our toilet. Mark Dennis #2976 was our hero. He took the time to fix our problem with the no damage or mess. Great job! Nice man! Would call for him again!! more
